For me, it was out of Beasley and Gordon. Memphis needed a potential superstar at that time (which is why they traded Love for Mayo), and if all picks are final, I'm selecting Beasley at five. I'm taking into consideration the fact that they will have Marc Gasol and Rudy Gay, and they need someone who can score points in their frontcourt, because Rudy can always play the guard position, if necessary. Beasley is too good to pass up at five. I really didn't know Gordon would be a sensational rookie, either...and I'm not sure everyone else did, or else he would've been picked top five.
