  3. The NHL playoffs are way more marketable and exciting than the NBA playoffs, it is a shame no one even knows how awesome the playoffs have been this year because no one can even see the games.

  4. If they win game 2, pressure is on Boston to close out at home or they are in trouble. We will see.

  6. 2008: "Lakers in 5", "Lakers in 6", and "Lakers in 7" were all said by you. Also, it's a fact that neither team is in the finals and that the Lakers are further away.

  7. As usual, you're overconfident. Neither team is even in the Finals, and the Lakers are further away from making it.

  9. We need Amar'e to be agressive like he was in game 3, so anything over 25 points, with the majority coming in the paint or from the line would give us a huge chance to tie this up.

  10. So wait...the Bobcats, Heat and Hawks are all talented and tough teams, but the Thunder and Jazz are no big deal, despite winning 50 and 53 games in the tougher Western Conference, where they have to play eight 50+ win playoff teams four times a year? That's pretty weird. Your analysis is a little off, by the way. You mention the sweeps and how significant they are, but Boston didn't sweep the Heat OR the Cavaliers...and it was only one year ago that the Cavaliers dropped the Pistons and the Hawks in eight games (two sweeps) before getting jabbed to death by a team that matched up perfectly with them. Ironically, that same team that beat "the best team in the East" (you know, the one that swept the first two rounds) ended up losing to the Lakers in five games in the NBA Finals. Just something to think about, of course.

  12. Go look at what Bynum did in the beginning of the season when Gasol was out.

  13. They are spectacular, but I still consider Shaq the MAIN piece, I am not saying Kobe wasnt important at all, I am not saying that Kobe had nothing to do with those rings, I am just saying that Shaq was the LEADER of that team. Well Kareem was probably a bad example, and I'll stick with my first statement when I said most, I stated the ALL thing at the end because I wasnt thinking. Hes getting the credit, but as I stated above, Shaq was the one that was the leader at the time, I cant put it much simpler than that. I also dont hate Kobe Bryant. Well if you put this way then you might as well include Robert Horry and Derek Fisher, but in my opinion, I see Shaq as the main piece, Kobe as the 2nd all-star (just as Gasol is for the Lakers), in terms of percentages, I'd say Shaq was a 30, Kobe 25, Phil 20, role players 25.

  14. Kobe might have 4 rings, but he still wasnt the main piece in those 3 championship rings, and as of now he only has 1 finals mvp, and has had 5-6 spectacular seasons while Jordan, Shaq, Bird, Kareem played great for almost their entire career, have had many rings, and were the leaders of their team the entire time, Kobe is given too much credit for these last 5 years because he hasnt had much competition.
