  1. I don't think you even know a single thing about Islam. First, Islam is a peacful religion (Obviously the House of War has twisted this a little bit, but anyone who had read the Quaran knows this). As a Muslim, you would first never hope that someone dies for ignorant comments; you would pray for them. Second, you're not God and you can't condemn anyone to hell. Stop being stupid and embarassing the religion.

  2. lol how about the fact LBJ is even there? that in his spare time he is showing up for these kids at a basketball camp.... the kids don't care, I doubt the parents cared, the only people who care are the LeBron haters. he was just putting on a show for them, I am sure there were some other 'nice' things he did but that won't make the highlight reel will it. it is clear what the creator of the video's motives were.

  4. We were the 2nd best team in the West before GK stepped down to treat his cancer... and only .500 team the rest of the way when he's gone, went from 2nd to 4th. It's not coincidence. Firstly and most important, we need to address the rebounding and big production (both offense and defense)... Kenyon was sensational in the month of December and January (10+ rpg) but injury slowed him down. Nene is a big guy that can devour 12 rebounds every game if he wants to... but too many games he comes up with 3, 4, 5 rebounds, and 4, 5 shot attempts despite not being in foul trouble. When BOTH KMart and Nene have 4, 5 rebounds EACH, it spells disaster. But when they grab 10+ rebounds each, I don't think we lose too many of those games. It's just too many times I see Nene finish with 4, 5 rebounds... this has to be addressed. Kenyon has the will but he is injury prone. Bring someone who can rebound and we have not done anything to address this. Secondly, J.R. represents a HUGE chunk of our bench production. Sadly, he's not reliable... he's too combustile and inconsistent. We don't need him to put 40 pts and 11 threes in one game, and then flop for the next 2-3 weeks of games... we need someone who can provide steady 15 ppg every night. Nothing spectacular/ explosive... just quitely steady. When he gives us 5, 6 pts on 20% shooting, that's when he hurts us. Not only lack of production off the bench but also the shot attempts that were horrible and should have been turned more efficiently. Thirdly, I think we need Chauncey to slow down a little. He has history of burning out and fatigue in the post-season because he plays too much in the regular season... it's true! We need to save his legs... I am a BIG believer in Ty Lawson and I think he should step in right away and be the starter over Chauncey, who moves to bench role and still gives us 25 solid minutes per game. This helps Ty's development and save Chauncey's legs. Fourth, let Arron Afflalo grow. I believe this guy can average 15 ppg this season... and be an outstanding outside shooter, a little bit more overall scorer and quality lock-down defender in one package. If we should improve from within, he and Ty Lawson will be accounted for the most improvement. Verdict: I think we need to eliminate inconsistency... we do this and it's addition by subtraction. TRADE J.R. for a quality big © who can rebound, move Nene to PF and complement Nene. It astounds me we still have not made any attempt to trade J.R. or address our rebounding issue. The good thing is, I believe, there are plenty of teams out there who still believe in J.R.'s potential (I do think under master managers like Phil Jackson, J.R. can be molded into the player everyone knows he's capable of being) and we still can get a quality player in return if we trade him.

  9. I see no problem with what he did. Of course they'll only show those highlights; I'm sure the kids had a blast and weren't complaining. All in good fun.

  10. Very nice with the "his efforts didn't end up mattering anyway" snarky line when he was the best offensive player on the floor for the Celtics that game, and who hit a huge three to make it close within two minutes left when the Lakers were pulling away. Jermaine still has to prove that he can provide even the relatively modest numbers Wallace put up. Just because he's slipping into a lesser role doesn't always mean that he'll be able to meet responsibilities needed of him. One thing about Wallace---he also was a disaster last regular season. It's not as if he had a successful regular season as a 5th/6th option. What if O'Neal takes a similar trajectory, but bombs in the playoffs as well? My point is that players who are used to falling when needed don't always come through in lesser roles. Habits are habits. O'Neal has a negative Offensive Win Share for his playoff career. That's pretty bad. O'Neal's post defense may be fine, but his dMult was slightly below average on a good defensive team. For the sake of discretion, Rasheed Wallace had a worse dMult for last year, but he sleptwalked through the entire regular season. BasketballProspectus doesn't have playoff-only statistics on their player page but Wallace simply plays defense at a higher level. For example, how do you chart post up stats where Wallace successfully fronts the post and denies an entry pass? O'Neal almost exclusively plays behind defenders, yet when you look at Boston in the playoffs, Wallace is three-quartering, pushing centers out of the post, getting his hands in front of entry passes, and making pinpoint rotations when teammates are getting beat. We saw that against Cleveland, Orlando, and Los Angeles. Have we seen Jermaine O'Neal do that? Then there's the minutia of O'Neal being a poor screen-setter. Then there's the fact that he's as big an injury risk as anyone in the NBA. Is there some All-Star caliber defender out there? Perhaps not, but creative teams will always find ways to fill holes. Just because O'Neal's possibly the best of bad options, doesn't make him a good option. Anthony also came out of the womb with three personal fouls and has zero offensive skills. I like Anthony a ton as a limited-minutes backup, and I like Haslem a ton as a medium-minutes backup at the four, but between he, Bosh, and Ilgauskas there will be openings near the basket so long as those are your centers. The Heat will probably be a top-10 defensive team next year too. I understand how good the organization is at protecting poor defenders. Heck, Antoine Walker and Jason Williams started on a title team. But Ilgauskas is just a body. He does nothing to influence a game against good teams. Opponents will leave him to double elsewhere. The Cavs played him in only three games against the Celtics last year for good reason. If you want to sign a bargain basement guy who won't contribute much offensively, why not just sign Theo Ratliff as your 5th big? Why not sign Kurt Thomas? Why not sign Brad Miller who's a lot like Ilgauskas but can pass? These are precious roster spots, they can't be wasted.
