I'm with Guru. 2009 was a horrendous year for the New York Giants... and we finished 8-8. Eli Manning suffered through plantar fasciatis last year. Jacobs played with a torn knee since week 1. Bradshaw broke his feet. Boss and Kareem McKenzie were fighting nagging injuries all year. Rocky Bernard, Chris Canty, and Justin Tuck were all playing with either one arm or one leg last year. Osi Umenyiora and Barry Cofield are finally two years removed from knee surgeries. Kenny [expletive]ing Phillips is back playing after a terrifying knee injury. Aaron Ross should be able to play 10+ games. They have added Shawn Andrews (#2 LG, will supplant Seubert quickly), Keith Bulluck (#1 SLB), Antrel Rolle (#1 FS), Deon Grant (#1/#2 SS, depending on Phillips' workload), and Darius Reynaud (#1 KR/PR). They have added two players who will make an impact as rookies on the defensive line in Linval Joseph and Jason Pierre-Paul. They have a punter who, while not as good of a directional/coffin punter, can punt the ball over 40 yards. Antonio Pierce's complex mind is gone from the linebacking corps, but we now have an athlete there in Jonathan Goff who can resemble a football player from time to time. This team gets two games worse than last year and I'll buy a Lebron jersey.
