  1. Thanks for the motivational speech, but it has nothing to do with the topic.

  2. Guys, classifications of wealth: Poor: 25k or less (annually) Middle class: 25k - 100k (annually) Affluent: 100k - 1mil (annually) Rich: 1mil - or more (annually) Ultra/ megarich: 1mil - or more (MONTHly) I plan to be at ultra/ mega rich level btw "Life will pay what you ask of it". Someone here said show me one person who doesn't want to be rich. That's true... but most of those people wish and hope... few of them desire it. And those who desire riches, get it. So, what's the difference between wishing, hoping and desiring? - When you WISH/ HOPE for something, you want it, but you may not necessarily do ANYthing to get it. e.g. when you refuse to run 50miles in return for an apple, then that apple is just your wish/ hope. - When you DESIRE something, you will do ANYthing to get it (hopefully legally). Think about the last time you desire something, not many people experience it. e.g. when you are willing to run 50 miles in return for an apple (for whatever reason, maybe because you think that apple gives you the power of eternal youth), then that apple is your desire That's the problem... only a few out of EVERY person in this world truly desire for the riches. They will do anything to be rich and put themselves in the riches way. When you desire, you begin to plan, and then put your plan into action. People who wish and hope keep wishing and hoping but never put their plans into action. So many of you say the riches live super comfortably while the workers work their asses off. If you think it's so super nice to have a life like those rich people, why not get rich? Do you think these rich people get riches because the riches fell from the sky on top of them? Has it occurred to you they actually worked to get to the point they are now... has it occurred to you that truly rich people (anywhere, not just US) were once just like us (poor/ middle level)... not few like Robert Kiyosaki were homeless and living in a car, and that made them more determined than us middle class who instead of doing something about it, complain and condemn the riches? Why not stop complaining and do something about it... while every once in a while the same people who complain about riches, wish and hope they too were rich. Without rich people, there'll be no companies, businesses, enterprises and jobs for the middle/ poor classes. Instead of wishing and hoping, desire.

  3. And go back to what? The failed policies of the previous eight years from 00-08?... The reason I like and supported Obama so much wasn't because he was a Democrat but because I thought his ideas make sense - and I still think they do. But I think he's limited by a lot of clowns in government on BOTH sides. I'm not registered as a Democrat or Republican, and never will be. I go with the candidate that seems intelligent, has the ability to make tough decisions, and that makes sensible decisions for the middle class. More then like it's going to be a Democrat, but there's times I would certainly vote Republican if I liked the candidate. Which is why I'd consider myself an independent. I listen to all sides on every issue.

  6. Sure...of course the term is rich is subjective. But it's pretty obvious that in this economic climate, in the year 2010 in the United States of America, 250K is rich. It's not wealthy when you compare it to the richest people in the world...sure, but that's not what were doing. We're comparing it to other people who could use the tax cuts, AKA the people under 250K a year. So in this context, it's rich.

  7. Other countries need to handle their own. I don't even know why we still have troops overseas, trying to fight a war against an act (terrorism).

  9. Sadly, it flew completely over your head, just like I figured it would. Do you personally know a CEO? Just wondering. Go to Google and find Spears Manufacturing. Largest plastic fitting industry in the world. The CEO is Wayne Spears, who lives in Agua Dulce, California. I've met and talked to him and his wife, Connie, plenty of times, when they come to Kansas to visit the main plant (where my dad works). He flies his own jet to Tulsa. You know what he does? He travels, all the time, and watches his auto racing team. That's about it. Right from the horse's mouth. Jokingly, he has told me he would hire me to manage his main offices in California, and to log production numbers and profits. Nice life. Labor workers do their own work to make themselves money. CEO's hire people to make them money. A handful of CEO's are fortunate enough to inherit their company. Others run up the ladder quickly and become rich using education, while those labor workers (who aren't a dime a dozen if you're looking for good ones, by the way...something you obviously don't know), work until they die. You're clueless, dude. You can't relate to any of this, because you don't work in an awful, 120 degree factory that wears you down every day, and you don't know a CEO that basically tells you how easy it gets. It's too bad, really, because someday, reality is going to knock you on your ass.

  10. That's funny because MOST billion dollar CEO's that started their own company either didn't graduate college or go to college at all. You can go to college if you're poor. That's why many people who are supposedly "rich" have a [expletive] load of student loans. Don't quote me on the first comment yet, but it's something where most billionaire CEO's didn't go to college or graduate. I would have to find some sources though. I know I've seen it many times though. And, this isn't directed to you in particular, but who the hell are you guys to say how much someone should be able to live off of? Most people probably don't want to live just comfortably, but instead want to live a life of luxury, and I don't see how you can call that "greedy". The only way some of you will get a reality check is when the major companies in our country that are supporting many of your parent's asses get the hell out of our country and you guys can't find a job. That will be a great reality check for you. Blame the rich who give most people in this country a damn job.
