  2. Spurs by far. Tony Parker, Tiago Splitter, Manu Ginobili, Goran Dragic, Luis Scola, George Hill, John Salmons, James Anderson, Beno Udrih and Leandro Barbosa all taken within the last 10 or so years, despite them not having a single pick better than 20th overall. It isn't even close, really.

  5. you ever watch a knick game? they have a huge dedicated fan base for a team that hasn't been over .500 in a decade. i'd like to see the lakers, celtics, and bulls arena if they hadn't been over .500 in 10 years.

  6. Barnes had 12 points on 4-10 shooting, he played great in the first half against Kentucky, but was too passive in the second half. He reminds me a lot of Rudy Gay during his freshmen season. Athletic wing with tons of talent, but doesn't know how to use it at the right times to impact the game. And I think a large part of his struggles right now is due to college basketball basically being a drive & dish game, traditional wings will struggle to get their offense flowing. People are expecting too much from him. They expect him to be a leader, and that's too much pressure. Only Melo has proven to be a clear cut leader as a freshmen, and even then Cuse struggled at the beginning of that season, which is why they were a 3 seed. Oden was also getting there as a leader as soon as he got his feet under him after the wrist injury, watching him own Noah, Horford, and Richard in the Final was amazing. If you think of the other guys, Durant was extremely talented, but disappeared enough and deferred too much when Augustin had the ball. Rose benefited from being on one of the most experienced teams in the NCAA that year, and Love, Mayo, and Gordon all struggled at times to varying degrees during their freshmen seasons.

  8. Good lord I knew Bud was struggling but I had no idea his numbers were this awful. 8.3 points per game on 37% shooting and 23% from behind the arc. His stats the past 5 games are even worse. I like Bud but dude is an empty space when his shot is not falling.

  10. It's because the Heat need a third superstar, I guess.

  11. "Our"? Aren't you a Packers fan? Or does living in a city give you entitlement over it's sports teams?

  12. I love the confidence but I agree with Dash reality is sinking in fast and the Rockets have some serious work to do. I also agree with Dash when it comes to Yao, putting him in any future plans just makes no sense anymore. We keep talking about how great the lineup will be if X Y and Z superstar pairs up with Yao Ming, yet again reality has sunk in and it's sad to see but Yao Ming is not a realistic option anymore. I don't want to sound like we are just throwing in the towel on a hard worker but I was glad when Tracy got traded and I will be glad when Yao's contract ends, I am pretty much over this Tmac Yao era I want to see the Rockets move on. I wouldn't mind having Yao sign a small contract and be a bench guy, but I am over the whole "when Yao comes back this team has a great squad to pair with him" lol it's a true statement but how long can a team wait for a guy who just can't realistically be built around because stability doesn't exist.

  13. Because we all know Yao is one trip over the suitcase away from missing the season! You realize we have to win 65% or so of our remaining games? Can you imagine how deep of a hole the Rockets would be in if they have another subpar month? Morey himself realizes the kind of situation we're in. Sadly we don't have the luxury of playing in the East.

  14. Highly doubt Miami trades away Bosh so quickly. Anyways there was a very interesting quote from Morey in a interview with Rockets.com's Jason Friedman. I agree that is definitely a make or break month for us and its good to hear that Morey isn't going to be delusional about making the playoffs if we do continue to lose.

  16. Loved every minute of this game. Cavs fans went home with their tails between their legs. Who cares if they're a bad team, the hype alone was worth keeping it close. Instead they got flat out embarrassed, and their chants clearly didn't get to him, he was laughing in their faces while they felt like they were important by chanting lmaoo.

  17. Because what VC did was far worse than what LeBron did. He actually stabbed our team in the back, LeBron did not do that, despite what their fans may think. LeBron left via FA, sure the TV show was a bit much but he still had the right to leave. Vince was still under contract and forced his way out, not only that, but played like utter [expletive] so we couldn't even get value for him. Maybe deep down Cavs fans know LeBron had the right to leave so they found it hard to boo him, idk.

  18. You came here just to post that? Great, want to post some more irrelevant things? Jesus, do you not have anything better to do to come onto this site, read the Introductions forum, find a member from another forum, dig up dirt on said member, save it, crop it, upload it then post it on here for kicks? I legitimately feel bad for you.

  19. I don't know what that's supposed to mean, they're underdogs in the East even with Jennings. A Jennings-less Bucks is arguable one of the worst teams in the league. Bucks are having a tough time scoring as it is, I can't even begin to imagine the struggles they would go though without Jennings.
