The DREAM Act gives a path to LEGAL citizenship to children of illegals. I see nothing wrong with this. Considering ECN and Flash's relatives had once come to this country in hopes of gaining citizenship, just as my relatives did. If we can get them on a path to legal citizenship, I don't see a problem. Illegal's CHILDREN should not be reprimanded for their parents coming here illegally. Come on now.4 points

Sure, I'll explain it. He's being labelled as a top 5 player in the league by many people, with a good number of people calling him better than Kobe last season, and better than guys like LeBron, Wade and Paul now. He's a tremendous scorer, but that's it. He's an average rebounder for his size, maybe slightly above average for a SF playing nearly 40MPG. He's an average defensive player who's length can give some players problems, but he isn't especially athletic and is a bit flat-footed, so he can be taken off the dribble, and his thin frame can be bullied by the stronger SF's in the league. MOST IMPORTANTLY, he's an average to below-average ballhandler, and he doesn't have the court vision or playmaking ability to consistently be a guy you can run your offense through. Because of this, he cannot carry a team like Kobe, LeBron, Wade, Paul and Williams do, and he doesn't make the kind of defensive impact a guy like Howard does to make up for that. Also, because of his below average ballhandling and playmaking ability, he's not the greatest option in clutch situations when the ability to iso and make the best possible play off the dribble is a premium...hence his poor clutch stats (according to 82games.com) over the last 2 seasons. And Hawks Fly High, yes, that does apply to Bosh as well, but Bosh isn't being called better than LeBron by a number of people, and isn't being called a top 5 player in the league like Durant is.2 points

I don't even care that Kirk didn't get the call, it's so obvious the refs weren't going to call that on us... [expletive] the Heat. [expletive] sports. I'm going to cut myself now. -_-2 points

This. I don't understand how everyone can say Bosh is the most overrated when, well, everyone is saying he's the most overrated. Most people were calling for his head just a few weeks ago, severely underrating his abilities. No, he is not the best PF in the league, and he is soft, but he's certainly one of the most talented and skilled big men in the league. I'd possibly agree if we were talking last season, but now he's being viewed as dirt by most people because of him being a 3rd option and having a poor start to this season.2 points

Arenas is much better suited as a 6th man since he demands the ball so much, you certainly don't want to take looks away from Richarson/Howard and Hedo is much better with the ball in his hands. The Magic starting five of Jameer, Richardson, Hedo, Bass, and Howard already has enough scoring prowess as it is.2 points

What are some of your favorite movie quotes? (add the scene if you want) I think this might be my favorite of all time. http://www.biggulpshuh.com/ [coming out of the 7-11] Lloyd: Hey guys. Woah, Big Gulps, huh? All right! Well, see ya later. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3g1KcOw7zas just makes you go what...? Epic Some others: "I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse." - Godfather "You talkin' to me?" - Taxi Driver http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzPBUGUM7KQ "I love the smell of napalm in the morning!" - Apocalypse Now "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!" - Network "Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me... Aren't you?" - The Graduate "There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?" - Airplane Sonny: [talking to Sal, waiting for his wife to answer the phone] You know I can call anybody, they'd put it on the phone? The Pope, an astronaut, the wisest of the wise... Who do I have to call? - Dog Day Afternoon Vinny Gambini: Were these magic grits? Did you get these grits from the same guy who sold Jack his bean stalk beans? - My Cousin Vinny Anton Chigurh: What's the most you ever lost on a coin toss. - No Country for Old Men Carl Fredricksen: This is crazy. I finally meet my childhood hero and he's trying to kill us. What a joke. Dug: Hey, I know a joke! A squirrel walks up to a tree and says, "I forgot to store acorns for the winter and now I am dead." Ha! It is funny because the squirrel gets dead. - UP Smokey: Puff puff, give. Puff puff, give. You [expletive]in' up the rotation. - Friday Smokey: I've been smokin' ever since I was two. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNUjClJked8 "I look back on the way I was then. That kid's long gone and this old man's all that's left.". - Shawshank Redemption Those are some random ones... but I always remember those quotes and scenes, so many more to choose from.1 point

I expect a line up of.. Nelson / Duhon / Williams Arenas / Redick J Rich / Q Rich / Clark Turkoglu / Anderson / Allen Howard / Bass / Orton I really like the move to get Arenas, who will be a clear upgrade over Carter, and will give Howard the best player he has ever played with. Fantastic move to get him. I also like the move to replace Lewis with another three point shooter that can play either forward position, though ideally they should have gotten someone better defensively. J Rich brings in another efficient overall scorer, but once again, ideally they should get someone better defensively. They also lost a valuable bench replacement for Howard in Gortat, so the Magic will likely have to rely on Bass to play much more minutes at center. As far as overall improvement goes, the Magic definitely improved offensively. The management may have accomplished the best mix of shooters, slashers, and ball handlers in franchise history as far as I know. Defensively is clearly a question mark with having Arenas, J Rich, and Turkoglu starting together. Overall, it's a risky move, but it's worth doing since originally they had almost no chance at the Finals, or even being a team that would get past the second round. Offensively they have shooters, ball handler, slashers, a big interior presence, and most of all, three 20 ppg caliber scorers now. If they can pull it together defensively, they just might have a decent shot at the finals. At least, these are my initial thoughts.1 point

Yeah when I saw that 2nd play yesterday, I was amazed he had the balls to try that. He almost really hurt James Jones on that play, as well as himself, so he should really reconsider his priorities before he tries that again.1 point

The Wizards have the athleticism to match up with the Heat... probably the reason why it was so close. They really should have won, but they made some rookie-like mistakes towards the end that often comes with these young teams. Nick Young is a special player IMO. Not only is he very athletic and long, but he understands how to move without the ball, and create his own shot offensively with ease. I think Nick would strive in a more structured system though, but either way, he could be a future all star if adds other elements to his game, like any sense of court vision or rebounding. Good coaching would go a long way for him.1 point

Apparently the girl in the picture knocks on people's windows at night(assuming they have her picture). Then when that person dies, another finger goes up in her picture. So she counts her number of victims. When that guy died, she went from the peace sign, to holding up three fingers.1 point

Pretty sure they surveyed millions of men and women in the Armed forces, and 75 percent of them said that it should be repealed and gays should be allowed to openly serve. I have to find that specific stat somewhere, I forget where I heard it. I think they were talking about it on The Daily Show. And the middle class is becoming oppressed because of Republican policies that favor the rich...but that's for a different topic.1 point

I think the biggest factor to this deal is that only 10 mill of Lewis' 22.7mill may be guaranteed in 2012/2013. That saves us about 12 mill that season compared to what they would have to pay Gil...not to mention the 22 or so mill in 2013/2014 that Gil is due. This is why we pulled the trigger on the deal although we probably preferred Carter's expiring. But if this is indeed the end of an era in Washington, then Grunfeld MUST go. I still believe we could have gotten more for Gil (maybe a pick or two, or at least a young prospect), and Ernie has never been good during the draft. With us building through the draft, it's vital to our teams success that we get a GM capable of eying good young talent. I don't think there's anyone in DC that still supports him as our general manager. The problem here though is that we have a logjam of forwards now. Flip wants to start Josh Howard, he's been waiting for J-Ho to be back and now it's his time to prove what he's made of. But we also have Blatche (who as much as I hate to say it, is one of the cornerstones of this rebuilding process now) so he needs to start. Then we have McGee who deserves to be the starter. So does Shard come off the bench? Does McGee? A lot needs to be sorted out in the coming weeks. For Orlando, Lewis wasn't doing a damn thing and Carter is getting swapped with Richardson. Gortat? Dude plays 16mpg as a backup for the best center in basketball. Even without adding Arenas it's a step forward for the Magic. Arenas is a sweet incentive. Defense will definitely be a huge problem, by starting Arenas, you get a guy incapable of guarding the quicker, stronger guards in the league. He always got killed on D by Wade, a guy who they may face in May. And let's not get too carried away, I love Gil, but he isn't a closer yet. He's lost that killer instinct, and while playing for a contender should lift his spirits and motivate him, it's going to take a while before we see the results we're expecting. It's a decent trade for PHX, Gortat was underutilized in Orlando and Nash desperately needed a big to play the pick-and-roll with. Gortat is an excellent pick-and-roll player.. he has superb mobility and hands for a big. I hope Gil the best, I'll be rooting for him, he's still one of my favorite players in the league.1 point
