It was a very good movie, though not great. I was thinking 8 or 9 out of 10, but probaby closer to 9/10. The acting is great (Bridges, Damon, and Steinfeld especially) and the score and cinematography are good as expected from Carter Burwell and Roger Deakins. It is better than the original in almost every aspect, and will definitely get some nominations come Oscar time. And for those worried about the PG-13, don't. It's very graphic for a PG-13, and I'm betting the only reason it didn't get an R was because there really isn't any bad language as expected from the Coens. However, this isn't like the other Coen movies. While it is up there in terms of quality with the other Coen movies, it is way more mainstream compared to their other films and more of a genre picture than the rest of their work.
