  1. Any Knicks fan would know we signed Mozgov, not drafted him, just saying.

  2. Why not? He has done it plenty of times before. He anchored a team defense that consisted of Jameer Nelson, Hedo Turkoglu, Rashard Lewis and Mickael Pietrus/Courtney Lee to the best Defensive Rating in the entire NBA. Other than Howard, nobody would even be considered an above average player defensively and they were one of the best defensive teams in the league. Hell, this season they have guys like Nelson, Turkoglu, Arenas, Richardson, Lewis, Carter etc... and none of them are worth a damn defensively, yet they are 6th in OPPG and 3rd in DRTG. Howard has proven time and time again that he has the ability to anchor a team defense with a bunch of sieves around him.

  3. Calderon is a worse defender than Nash, at least Nash will pick up the occasional charge here and there.

  4. No way Billups is better than Felton at the stage of their careers right now...Felton on the Knicks is wayyy better than Billups on the Knicks considering the system as well. If we had to give up Chandler, Fields, Randolph, Curry I'd say do it. But not if we have to include Felton or Gallo. Gallinari is easily going to be a 20/7 guy in D'Antoni's system for years to come. We are already thin in the backcourt with Felton, so losing him would make our team even worse (having a solid PG in Dantoni's system is HUGE)... Walsh said...and I agree.... "I walk away from every game thinking I've got to do something. I wake up every day thinking that. If it's not going to make you better, no matter how much you want to do something, you can't do it."

  6. You have no clue what you are talking about. Vancouver is one of the nicest cities in the world. I agree with Doc, if basketball is half as big on the west coast and growing as fast as it is over here, it could be a potential gold mine. Look how [expletive] the Raptors have been the past 16 years, yet they are one of the most economically successful teams in the NBA.

  7. I wouldn't say CM Punk is at level of Jeff Jarrett or Triple H. To be honest I think he's more like Chris Jericho. Lets face it he has the charisma to put him over no matter what. He's really gifted on the mic. He just reminds me of Jericho because both always lose to guys like Austin, Rock, HHH, Undertaker, etc. Same with Punk they wont put him over against Cena, Orton, Rey, Edge, etc.

  9. Vancouver was bad timing. Basketball wasn't at its highest yet here. With Steve Nash and now all the Canadian players in the NCAA, and the ones winning All-Americans. Basketball is growing so fast here in Canada and there is a huge fan base out there. Plus the fans in Seattle that miss basketball would make the short trip.

  10. Stephon Marbury is a better player than most fans and writers want to remember him but everything that has happened is mostly his fault. The problem with his game was that he overdribbled and dominated the ball far too much. I always thought he would be a great PG if he just had a brain of another man. I think NY should just wait it out and get Melo in the offseason rather than trading away multiple starters and picks.

  12. His gimmick is terrible because it is way too watered down due to the PG rating. He had the same gimmick back in ROH and other Indies and he was cutting some of the best promos because the company actually let him completely run with the gimmick instead of watering it down like the WWE. Just because he can't be on the same level as arguably the best syuperstar in the history of wrestling doesn't mean that he would be a mid-carder or something like that. I'm not saying that he would be a Rock, Austin or Hogan type of figure, but I have no doubts in my mind that CM Punk would still be a huge superstar if he was around in the Attitude Era. He is just too talented not to be, and like I said before, I actually think that he would be even better in that Era because the PG thing holds him back.

  13. I don't think it's necessary in basketball, plus it really kills the FA freedom of guys, that's unfair. People should be allowed to go where they want no matter how [expletive]ed of a way they do it.
