  1. Ok, just got back from watching everything and as far as the dunk contest: - Ibaka was ROBBED. He jumped further than MJ and Dr. J did and he's 7'0 tall. Are you kidding me? That should've been at least a 48. - Griffin's dunks were garbage aside from the elbow in the rim. The first dunk was a regular [expletive] 360, the windmill was GARBAGE compared to what everyone else was throwing up. And that car dunk...Joel Anthony could've done that. That tells me all I need to know about that crap. - DeRozan's second dunk was better than anything Griffin did all night, his dunks were great. - McGee should've won the whole damn thing. The 3 balls was one of the best dunks I've ever seen. And the 2 hoop one was craaazy. He should've won by a landslide. At the end of the day. Griffin could've done 4 finger rolls and still won this thing by a mile. Absolutely terrible. /At least James Jones won the 3 point contest though.

  6. lol I get grief for the Yankees/Knicks/Giants/Rangers in Philly too, I'm used to it I never watched college bball growing up, nobody in my house really paid attention to it. I was flipping one day and Illinois was playing on national TV, so I kept it on... Watched Corey Bradford go nuts with like 8 three pointers, and just like that I was a huge fan. I was probably 12 or 13, and the dude set the national record for 3's made in consecutive games in his senior year, though Reddick eventually broke it. Can't tell you, living in Jersey, how much grief I got for being a 'bandwagon fan' the year they went to the NCAA finals against UNC. Dee Brown, Deron, Augestine, Luther Head, Roger Powell, Nick Smith (the bird!)... Kids were so nasty. I was heartbroken when they lost

  7. First of all, Derozan got it on his first attempt which is a big part of the grade for me (he gets his first dunk first try last night and he probably gets close to a 50). Second, the pass for Derozan's was better/more difficult with Sonny moving which I think should credit the score. Third, Derozan took the windmill to the middle of the basket as opposed to Griffin who slammed it on the near side. If you are going to take someone else's dunk, it would be nice if you did it better than them. Sorry but that dunk Blake did was a dunk that any guy in the competition could do as long as the pass is on target, and for that, you get a solid 40 in my opinion. This competition was over before it started. At least everyone showed up, bring them all back next year.

  8. All I can say is I am just happy that these guys came with it last night. After last years horrible performances it's good to see that these guys still care to keep this contest alive. I think it would have been a crazy good contest if most of the dunkers connected the first time around, really would have set the place off even more. I loved the creativity and imagination put into each dunk. The dunks were not incredible but the fact that they got coaches, they set up "stories" at times and that they just put an effort really pleased me, after all this is the cherry on top for the entire night. I still think the judges are just awful at scoring these dunks, and I think the fan vote is a ridiculously bad idea.

  9. Seriously though why didn't The big red retard Matt Bonner or Gary Neal get in over Gibson and Wright. These are 2 guys that have shot lights out from behind the arc this year.

  10. I feel like in the modern age of technology that we live in, ala 2011, we should'nt be seeing pictures that look like they were taken in 1978. Probably fake.

  13. If they just get rid of fan voting, everything will be ok. Leave it up to the judges..

  15. Understandable. I think how easy he made it look was part of what made it so special, but I can understand where you are coming from. Why are you singling me out when I haven't even mentioned it? I thought it was very impressive, deserved a couple of 10's but the free throw line dunk it just too overused considering how many people have done it (Jordan, Dr. J, Carter, Smith, Barry, Moon just off of the top of my head) so I can understand why he didn't get a 50. It was the most impressive free throw line dunk ever done, but that dunk has lost it's appeal.

  16. Suddenly, the standards have been raised so high. Any dunk tonight was better than any one last year.

  17. Baron Davis poking his head out of the sun rook with a creepy [expletive] smile deserves a 50 all by its self.

  19. How was Ibaka not a 50, he was farther back than Dr. J. On top of it, DeRozan just got a 50
