  1. Ariza had one good postseason and people thought he was the second coming of Scottie Pippen, that's what happened.

  2. I think they actually do it for woodwind, but that's just me.

  3. I said this where? You're the one who resorts to this tactic in every single debate you have. Instead of finding actual data to back up your claims, you just go to this [expletive] tactic. Believe it or not, Philly, Boston, and NY are big hockey markets. We get plenty of exposure. We read plenty on the internet. I am a diehard hockey fan and consider myself fairly knowledgeable and I do not need some French cunt from Montreal on the internet telling me otherwise. Now go ahead and tattle to the mods.

  5. It was a bad shot, unless Wade was in his jersey. Bryant has done that quite a bit, and gotten the call (probably notorious for it, really). Re-watching it, Wade's arms were draped over Bryant's at that split second, and Kobe rose up for the shot and was hit pretty good, plus a slight bump. I'll put it this way: it makes no sense for Kobe to miss a shot THAT FAR OFF unless he's blocked or fouled, and Wade didn't block that shot. I mean, I don't even think I could miss that badly, even with someone in my face. Given the fact that it's a pro player, and Kobe Bryant, you'd have to foul the hell out of him. It was about as bad as that obvious foul Wade committed prior to Kobe losing the ball out of bounds, near the end of the game. I don't normally blame the refs, and I think the Lakers should never lose the rebounding game against the Heat (or any team in the league, for that matter), and Bryant getting ripped by Wade was HUGE for the Heat (and not a foul), but there were two fouls on Wade that were not called, an illegal screen on LeBron, and an undisputed goaltend by Ilgauskas...all of these things happening in the closing minute or two.

  6. What a badass. That's the kind of work ethic and dedication that makes him the best player in the league.

  7. Komisarek is a bitch and always has been. I just don't like how the only time he acts tough is when the refs are in between him and another player, and he tries to get a shot in. Anyways, I'd be happy if the Leafs could start losing a lot more. I want that 1st round pick to be a lottery pick. Right now they are in 8th place, but I definitely see the Devils passing them, and hopefully Atlanta. I'm hoping none of the teams ahead of them fall back too much though. I guess I have to hope for Florida to make a strong push as well as the Islanders besides tomorrow night.

  8. If true I hope they add Rocko's Moden life to that list. Rocko, Rugrats, Doug were my favorites with Hey Arnold and Rocket Power coming in 2nd. I thought both Catdog and Angry Beavers was [expletive]ing lame...... EARLY 90's FTW

  10. He's taking money from these players in order to penalize them, it's not like he's taking it and going on a shopping spree at the mall.. The age limit was a great idea, the dress code makes the league more professional and respectable, and arguing fouls is useless, because it gets you no where. If you're going to attempt to criticize every move he has made, then at least know what you're talking about. He admitted his mistake regarding the game ball, and apologized, so don't act as if he was selfish and was only looking out for himself. How many times have you seen players argue a call, and in turn, the refs agree and overturn the initial call? Very rarely. The fact that Stern is attempting to make the league more respectable is a great thing for the NBA moving forward. And way to single out Stern and point out that he's the only one in favor of rollbacks. You really are pulling things out of your ass. Stern is arrogant and self centered? He's the one who cleared up the drug issues that were prevalent in the league before he became commissioner, the league's revenue has skyrocketed, and he had a hand in creating the WNBA. Yeah, he's definitely self centered...

  12. Never said that he didn't (do his job well) and I never defended what Komisarek did. He deserved the 5 minute major and the game miscoundunct. Should he get suspended for a couple of games, he will deserve that as well. Doesn't change the fact that it is awesome how he is completely silent whenever the Leafs have Orr or Rosehill in the lineup but whenever one of those two aren't playing, he is suddenly Mr. Tough Guy again. Like I said above, he is a good agitator. I don't deny that.

  13. It's limited, kids aren't allowed to just say whatever they please in classrooms, that's what I'm getting at. I seriously don't understand all the hate surrounding him. He has done a lot for this league, and really has made basketball very popular around the world. He has globalized the game, and instituted new rules that have, for the most part, made the game more exciting/better. He is not a bad commissioner at all, and he has done great things for basketball in the last 22+ years.

  14. Johnny Malkin is traded.... THANK GOD!!!!!! I don't think I hated a Leaf player more than John Mitchell. Watching him try and dangle 5 players at a time will be missed, though.
