  4. Only time people actually use these words is online, I dont see why slang should be added to the dictionary. If that was true then just about every 3 letter thing that stood for something would be in the dictionary

  5. I don't think he will be much of a pro either, but this is just ridiculous. I know, or at least hope, you are exaggerating to prove a point, but if you wouldn't take a chance on a guy like Fredette with a 2nd round pick, you are an idiot. Best case scenario he has a JJ Redick like impact on a team, although he will never be the kind of defender as Redick has become. Redick isn't a star by any means, but as an 8th or 9th man he isn't terrible. You won't rely on him to give you 30 minutes a night or else your team will be in trouble, but you can rely on him for 15-20 minutes a night. Worst case scenario, he is an Eddie House clone. Liability defensively, can't handle the rock or run an offense, but can come in during certain points in the game where you are in desperate need of shooting and he can provide you with that. I'd say he falls somewhere in between these two, closer to House than Redick, but stil somewhere in between. He can handle the ball better than House can and I would expect that he can create his own offense better than House which won't force him to be a sport up shooter and nothing more. I wouldn't use a lottery pick on him, and I'm not even sure how comfortable I would be giving him the guaranteed contract of a first round pick (but in a draft lacking depth, such as this one, that wouldn't be terrible), but if he were to fall to the 2nd round you would be insane not to at least take a chance on the guy.

  7. I don't know what the NBA's system for revenue sharing is, but they need to try and find a way to get all the markets on a close to equal playing field. That is why I have, and will continue to endorse some sort of hard cap.. The discrepancy between the top and bottom teams is already huge, and it is only going to get bigger as they are allowed to add players despite not having cap each year.

  8. Averaging 18 ppg per 36 min=suck...? Also, 46% is close to what Kevin Love shoot from the field and Dwight Howard shoots below 60% from the line so... http://undergroundvelvet.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/confused.jpg

  11. I disagree. Most of the beats are find. The choruses get a bit repetitive since MDMA has like 3 features or some shit. The hooks are definitely one of my few disappointments with the album. Wish Lupe had another track or two with just him on the song - no features...but it is what it is. He didn't do that, mostly because of the record label BS, but I like the album a lot for what he had to deal with. Will it be as classic as The Cool? Highly doubtful, pretty much no. But I still personally love it. I love how I can listen to The Cool, then Lasers, and not feel like I just listened to the same thing for 2 hours. They just have their own vibe, their own sound...very similar to what Kanye has done with his albums, they all have their distinct vibe. Whether you like The Cool's vibe and sound better (and I did too as a true HHH), I still find Lasers very enjoyable.

  13. College Stats Per 35 Minutes Carmelo Anthony 22.2 PPG, 10 RPG, 2.2 APG, FT% 70.6, 3FG% 33.7 Derrick Williams 22.8 PPG, 9.5 RPG, 1.3 APG, FT% 74.4, 3FG% 60.3 Very similar stats in college and if you remember Carmelo Anthony was used as a power forward in college for Syracuse not a small forward. Kind of like what Arizona is using Derrick Williams for. I watched some college tape on Carmelo Anthony when he played for Syracuse and what I watched him do is exactly what Derrick Williams does now. Play in the low post both of them have very nice low post moves and both can extend it out to the 3-point line. Anthony is not known for his three point shooting, but he can hit them. He is known for scoring around the hoop, dunks and lay-ups, jumpshots, and getting to the free throw line. Exactly what Williams is known for. Not to mention they are also the same height and similar in size: Carmelo Anthony Height: 6-8 Weight: 230 lbs Derrick Williams Height: 6-8 Weight: 235 lbs When Carmelo was in college he was known and the most prolific scorer in the game at the time and Williams is know as the most prolific scorer in the game right now. Anthony went #3 in the 2003 NBA Draft and Williams is projected to go anywhere from 1-6 in the draft this year. Williams could solidfy himself as a top three pick if he has a nice tournament run like Anthony, but it is that is doubtful that Arizona gets to the Final Four though it is possible. He will most likely go in the top five this year regardless of what happens.

  14. Wade did a legit dance after a dunk in a losing effort, down 9 at the time, in a game they'd go on to lose by 11. If you think that's cool and should be league standard... alright. Dance away, dunkers. We should tell Derek Fisher to do the Sprinkler after his next no-look assist. Opinion differing from Flash = Idiot. Noted. Don't respond if you don't want to have a conversation... I promise I won't talk to myself.

  15. I hadn't watched Fredette until the tournament, but he looks a lot more like Adam Morrison to me than JJ Redick let alone Steph Curry. He has a quick release which should help him get his shot off easier in the pros than Morrison did, but he is even more unathletic than JJ Redick and I don't trust him at all to create anything off of the bounce as his handles and decision making look awful to me. Most importantly, he can't guard a fly. He is going to make Jose Calderon look a lockdown defender in the NBA.
