I've pointed out numerous times when the Lakers have been getting stupid calls in their favor. Sorry that I'm not a complete homer with my team like you are4 points

He ran into Young, Young didn't "bump" him. You are a complete homer, and we all know it.3 points

That was a BS call on Thaddeus at the end, that was good D followed by an offensive foul, if you cannot defend someone like that, I don't get how you are supposed to play defense...3 points

The best call of them all: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBtoJpONR7w That should have wiped 2 points right there. Should have been an offensive foul.3 points

You still can't dispute the fact that LBJ and DWhistle get phantom calls when there were times that Philly/Indy weren't getting shit. Sure, not attacking the basket has something to do with it, but bad officiating happens a LOT in the NBA2 points

Let me ask you this. If you were David Stern, would you rather see the Miami Heat advance or the Sixers? If you were David Stern, would you rather see the Chicago Bulls advance, or the Indiana Pacers? The NBA is all about ratings and money, and it will always will be. The refs have been known to fix games as well, so when you see FT disparity's like this, it makes you wonder. Take a look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8p_HeQme1VU&feature=player_embedded Look at about 5 seconds in. That should have been an and 1, and you know that probably would have been a flagrant foul if it was James or Wade making the layup.2 points

From Bill Simmons on Twitter: Doug Collins: This is the reason why the NBA is such a joke. Small market teams have no chance at all in getting any calls from the refs.1 point

Why are the Lakers switching on defense every singe possession? I just don't get it. Perimeter players are not even trying to fight through the screens.1 point

I dunno dude, I personally find all math useless. As long as you can add, subtract, multiply, and divide you can get by in most careers.1 point

Not at all. You had to get her number somehow, and if you don't talk to her how would you ever be able to? Just do it, say you've been wanting to text her for a while so you had to ask someone for her number. Don't be a pansy and say sorry, just be confident and make her happy you got her number. I suggest starting it off what 'whats up pumpkin tits, been thinkin about you all day girrrl'. Or not.1 point

As I posted before, it was a foul before he even jumped up for the shot. Young impeded Wade's progress, Wade took the hit and faded back. I agree it's an iffy call, but a ton of players make a living off the same call...Maggette, Kevin Martin, etc...1 point

Bad officiating happens in every sport. You tell me where LBJ and Wade got calls they shouldn't have today. Wade got fouled before he kicked the leg out as Nitro pointed out and I saw LBJ travel once badly there in the second quarter I think it was. What plays did Philly really get screwed on? Also, lol @ DWhistle. Is that really what you're resorting to right now?1 point

Hold on, a Laker fan is telling me about NBA refs giving players superstar treatment? Lol.1 point

The NBA draft is inferior to the NFL draft, making it harder for a team to actually build talent. If you get someone good, they're just going to leave because you can't build a team. I don't know if promotion was the right term to use in this case, but the NBA really makes it hard for young teams. The worst team in the NFL is guaranteed the first pick, which is something the NBA needs to go to.1 point

First off, he simply doesn't have the skillset to be a key scorer. He's not a great 3pt shooter, and he too often settles for the quick 3 rather than attack the basket, where he is most effective. However, since he is a bit undersized, he can't finish at the rim as well as many of the great scorers in the league can, and he doesn't know how to draw contact to get to the FT line often. His ballhandling skills are adequate but not above-average, and he has no midrange game. He also doesn't have many polished pet-moves to get himself easy looks, so he usually just settles for a quick 3 or a reckless drive to the basket. Bynum is an elite offensive post player in the league, with his size, soft touch and solid footwork. When he's healthy, he can be depended on to consistently score in the post (although he refuses to pass out of the post, but that has little to nothing to do with scoring ability). Odom is a mismatch athletically for most players at the 4, and his ability to handle the ball and make plays off the dribble makes him a difficult guard. He also shot the 3pt shot very well this year, and he also is good at getting 2nd chance opportunities off the glass. In-depth enough? I meant with the ball he cannot create his own shot, and while he is very good at coming off screens and shooting with a quick trigger, he is inconsistent from 3pt range, somewhat nullifying his advantage in that department. Meanwhile, Bibby is a far more consistent 3pt threat, is much better at creating off the dribble, and is also better at finishing at the rim. I don't see why Bibby is lower than House.1 point

Why do you think Corey Maggette always gets to the FT line? And I don't believe he's a superstar, nor does he play for a big market team...1 point
-
Coming from a Heat fan, I am not surprised. Do you think it's odd that superstars are ALWAYS the one getting to the FT line? Did you forget when Wade KICKED Young and got the foul called on Young? Seriously, if you breathe on either Wade or Lebron, a foul will be called. It is not fair to both sides, a team with a superstar or a bigger market will ALWAYS get more calls than a team without a superstar. If you don't think the refs are biased, than I feel bad for you.1 point

I caught the last three minutes of the fourth quarter, and Rose was just flat out amazing. Gotta love the emotion from Rose and Noah, the crowd/Bulls fed off of it, and their defense down the stretch was a thing of beauty.1 point
