Bell's incident didn't come in the 4th quarter of a 30 point game in a series in which the Lakers were absolutely embarassed. Bell also didn't have a history of doing the exact same thing. This is the 2nd time this season that Bynum did this same kind of foul and the third time in his career that he has done this kind of play (he did it to Wallace a while ago and ended up puncturing his lung). Those circumstances are why people are calling for more games for Bynum. I'm sure if it was a close game at that point and Bynum didn't have a history of these kinds of fouls people wouldn't be calling for more games. A player's track record should definitely be taken into consideration when he is a repeat offender of the same kinds of fouls. With that said, I don't have a problem with the suspension. 5 games is adequate enough for this incident, but at the same time I can understand why people are calling for more given the circumstances.

Yea don't take a 7 or 8 AM class, those blow. 9 or 10 is a good time to start. Also, make sure your break in between class isn't too long. I had a 3 hour break both semesters and I was stuck in school doing absolutely nothing.

So out of everything that is wrong in the NBA, THIS is what he wants to change? There's a reason they put the goaltending rule in....because one guy named Wilt Chamberlain was ruining the game. Imagine how much worse it'll be now in a league with better athletes. Here's an idea....allow hand-checking and get rid of zone defenses. Of course, since that hurts international players and probably international appeal, Stern wouldn't go for it.

He chose number 23, he chose the MJ chalk powder toss, he guaranteed championships...so why is he trying to downplay all of this and act as though he was merely a player? Although, after all the failures in the playoffs and all the excuses that followed them, maybe he should be labeled merely as a player. And when will he shut up? I actually kinda got over his ass and here he goes again.
