  1. Maybe if that kid wasn't robbing a store it wouldn't have happened to him. Its his fault and he chose to get himself into that situation. All bets are off at that point. It kinda shocks me that people are somewhat sympathizing with this guy to be honest.

  4. He was shot in the head, the threat was removed. No need to keep firing at him while he's down. Anyway, I don't think the pharmacist should be convicted of first degree murder, but should be charged with something that requires a little jail time.

  5. yeah but adrenaline and heat of the motion does stuff with your brain, do i think it was right to shoot the guy 5 additional times? no, but that's what happens when your at your breaking point, this guy is not a trained navy seal or a military combatant. These punks should have known better, its an unfortunate situation yes, but the kids got what was coming. It's sad to see, but I cant really fault the pharmacist.

  6. The threat was neutralized, which is why the pharmacist was able to chase someone out of the store, walk past the wounded robber and reload his gun. The robber had plenty of opportunities to get up and attack the guy, but didn't. Why? Because he either knew there was no sense in it or because HE HAD A BULLET IN HIS [expletive]ING HEAD AND COULDN'T DO A DAMN THING!!! No matter what way you cut it, the pharmacist had a choice of alternatives than to pump 5 more shots in a kid that was clearly incompacitated. I do understand his reasoning, which is why I don't believe he should be found guilty of first degree murder, but he should definitely be charged with something and put in jail. However, it is not surprising he was found guilty because he went way over the line of self-defense.

  10. Glad the kid is dead, now we don't have to waste tax-money on him going in and out of jail for the majority of his life. The Pharmacist doesn't deserve anything, the kid came and tried to rob the store and the Pharmacist was basically trying to protect the property. Simple

  12. I think any movie in any genre can be judged. If it's a bad comedy then it's a bad comedy you wouldn't just shrug it off because it's in the comedy genre. Anyway I'm not trying to say I'm surprised with the reaction, it was obvious if Phillips took the safe route and virtually made a carbon copy of what worked it would do well with the public and do poorly with the critics. That's almost how all sequels play out, and as long as the movie grosses big bucks who cares what critics say it's certainly not stopping a particular generation from spending money on part 2, and 3. If you're a picky movie fan like I am I think that's a disappointing pattern that lacks originality, it's not just Hangover 2 it's all the part 2's and 3's that come out with nothing special. Little Fockers a prime example of a useless stretch of a series, yet still grossed over 300 million dollars worldwide. Judging a movie no matter what genre is completely fair comedy doesn't get a golden pass. This genre is fantastic and it's one of my favorites but if you ever want the Oscars and such to take you seriously (which they complain about constantly as a genre) then criticism is part of the game. Hangover 2 was funny, but not original. For me just IMO that doesn't give it a pass because it accomplished being funny, but that's just me, no denying if you love this group and you just want to laugh it's fine keep churning them out, it's all about the money at the end of the day.

  14. Lmao, that is a once in a lifetime situation. Let me shoot you in the head.... wanna bet that you won't "survive just fine"?

  15. No, but I'm not ignorant and dumb enough to think that the pharmacist had a clear mind in that situation. Now, you may say he had a clear mind because he shot at the other kid outside the store and shot the other kid who was on the ground, but I disagree with this. If this kid was white....... Also, I don't have to be there to know the kid was robbing the [expletive]ing store. Are you retarded? .
