There really are no facts to back up an opinion piece. There will never be an even playing field to compare the two on, as Calvin has spent most of his career with Jon Kitna, Daunte Culpepper, Dan Orlovsky, Drew Stanton, and Shaun Hill, while Miles has played mostly with Romo and a smattering of Jon Kitna and Brad Johnson. Different teams, different quarterbacks, different threats keeping double coverage away, etc. It's all going to be opinion on physical tools and ability. Numbers don't always do justice. Anyways, I'll try..: Through their respective first 5 seasons: Calvin Johnson - 63 Games Played, 286 Receptions, 4,416 Yards, 39 TDs Miles Austin - 71 Games Played, 182 Receptions, 2,948 Yards, 25 TDs Calvin has superstar ability over him. Also has great hands, and can go up and get any ball. If you're starting a franchise, you're taking Miles Austin over Calvin Johnson? I don't think there are three people on this site who'd do that.
