  1. And they got a new look to represent it: http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2011/1221/pg2_toronto_d1_576.jpg http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2011/1221/pg2_raptors_camo_200.jpg The only thing missing is to replace the Canadian Flag with an actual tank.

  4. With Kobe out a month (provided he didn't fake it) and Bynum suspended, I think the Lakers are looking like a .500 team this year!

  11. Those, my friend, are the representation of a team who is all in and fully committed to go 0-66 this season. Seriously, though, I think they are going to be a one time use for the Canadian Armed Forces night. The Raps play that night (I think against the Bulls) and will likely only wear them the one time.

  12. You're not alone on that one, he probably won't make the ASG because of all the great PG's in the East (Rose, Williams, Rondo), but he's an all star caliber player. He defended Wall very well in the first half, frustrated John on occasion, and forced some turnovers. He does a great job staying in front of his man. I think Blatche is turning the corner now, he has matured, and for the most part, he's making good decisions. He's a terrific passer in the paint (always has been), and he's now using it to his advantage. He's also posting up more which is nice. JaVale was also a bright spot tonight, I love the fact that he's attempting to develop a go to move on offense. If he can perfect that hook shot (he's far from it right now), he'd become an all star. Jordan Crawford on the other hand is quickly becoming one of my most hated players. His jumper is broke, he plays out of control, commits a ton of unforced turnovers, and just hasn't developed a niche as a starter. Luckily, Nick is back and should be the starter this season.

  13. If we are talking strictly offense I like it. I don't see Rubio coming anywhere close to the defender that Rondo is, though. He may be able to play the passing lanes as well as Rajon does, but I highly doubt he is able to play the lockdown man-to-man defense that Rondo can play when he sets his mind to it.

  14. With talk that Otis Smith has ignored much of what Howard has wanted, and now this...you start to wonder what owners are thinking when they have these superstar players. Wouldn't you at least give them the heads up on any ideas? Remember the Deron Williams incident? He had no idea they were going to trade Ronnie Brewer, his best friend. While it seems a bit ridiculous to be upset over petty things like that in a basketball league, I kind of see why they would be...but most importantly, I don't see why owners refuse to keep that in mind, regardless. Everyone keeps talking about these guys moving to big markets, and how these small-market teams should be able to keep their superstars. How about the owners needing to build around them properly? How about the owners spending their money wisely, and at least consulting the stars that, basically, put asses in seats?
