  7. Howard in New York, teaming with Melo, would be an upgrade, even if the Knicks didn't make any other moves from that point until the end of the season. You have to consider what the hell Howard has done for the team he's playing on right now to truly realize how big of an impact he can be for any defense (or offense, for that matter). Toney Douglas could get torched by Chalmers and Cole, and Melo can't hold LeBron to save his life...but on that end of the floor, the game gets five times easier with Howard in the paint. Still wouldn't give the Knicks a series win, but they wouldn't look like the Wizards, either.

  8. Just have to run in here and say that I'm really impressed with Iggy. He's putting a lot of energy into his defense and getting teammates involved, and I have the feeling he knows he's not a legitimate primary scoring option on a contender, so he's doing everything else to turn his team into one of the best in the East. Philly has been looking great, and I'm not exactly shocked...but it's nice to see them putting together these comfortable wins during the season. I have little to say about the Wizards. Blatche still sucks.

  9. Melo is one of the laziest defenders in the NBA. He is a decent on-ball defender but he constantly losses track of his man in off ball situations. Not to mention the fact that you will rarely see him rotate on defense. He's not a bad defender, but he is lazy as [expletive].

  10. I actually like Melo being paired with Dwight Howard, they could be a pretty formidable duo.

  11. Their games just don't go well with one another either they both need to ball in their hands to be successful and neither creates for other guys or plays defense.

  13. Without Bowen we probably only have 2 maybe 3 rings.... Def deserves this!

  14. Awesome decision, Bowen's defense was huge in the championship era, but let's not forget he was a clutch playoff 3 point shooter. Shot 40 percent from 3 in the playoffs. He may have bent the rules a little bit and had a handful of dirty plays, but there were far dirtier players....

  15. Yeah not only that which I totally agree on but every time he gets fouled even a small foul he stares the other guy down like he just [expletive]ed his mom or something and Blake wants to kill him. Same thing with refs who don't give him a call he needs to get past that immature shit and just play. He dwells on that stuff a lot and I feel like it hurts his game at times. The shit he did to Chalmers last year is just unacceptable for any top player to do in this league rookie or not. That was some petty, Kevin Garnett type shit. Not to mention the Andre Miller thing.
