So much speculation, but the fact is that Zimmerman decided to pursue against the orders from the police. Simple as that. Also, when you shoot and kill, you are arrested. Doesn't mater the reason. That will be sorted out later. Zimmerman was in the wrong, and the police are in the wrong. ----------- In regards to everything in between...I doubt a 6-2, 140 pound kid is going to have an advantage over a guy that weighs 100+ more pounds with a weapon, unless that kid has a weapon of his own. Even if Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman (which I doubt), I'd do whatever it takes myself if some guy was following me, threatening me. Twist it any direction you please, but there's no justification here. The media may be in the wrong as well, for spinning it or what-not, but nobody should try and make sense of this in Zimmerman's favor, at all.

Alright, here it goes. Reading the story and hearing about it when it first happened, it certainly seemed like Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin for little reason. Zimmerman probably should have stayed in his car and not approached Trayvon. The police reports and witness statements aren't completely on the same page either. Some claim the screaming was Zimmerman in the audio tapes, and some claim it was Trayvon. From what I've read and heard so far, I'm leaning towards saying Zimmmerman is in the wrong here, but I'm not going to say he's 100% guiltily right now. However, a few things about this case and other cases amuse me and anger me. The liberal media is trying to make Zimmerman seem like he's a white man in order to build their "sexy" story about a white man killing a black boy/young adult for what seems to be little reasons. Shall we examine how the media is changing Zimmerman's image on television and on the internet? When I say zero, I mean there was legitimately not ONE trace of this story in CNN's online data-base. I think the consensus is that Zimmerman is in the wrong for shooting the kid, without a doubt. That being said, I think the guy was genuinely suspicious of Martin, considering all the crime that neighborhood has seen and his mall cop power trip mentality. Martin did go up to him too lets not forget that either. IMO its possible that Zimmerman tried him, Martin being a 17 year old kid (who'd be rational in this situation at 17?) who felt like he was being stereotyped because of race probably got pissed and confronted the guy. Zimmerman probably shat his pants because now shit just got real for the first time and there's no one to protect him. He gets hit (he has a broken nose and head injuries) freaks out because he's getting his ass beat, reaches for the gun and shoots Martin. I'm just not convinced this went down like its being perceived. I think Martin was more irritated with this guy than anything else, not afraid. If he was scared of this short, fat rent-a-cop loser then why did he walk towards him? Like I said before, no one knows what happened for sure and any theory could possibly be right but I think we can all agree that this kid didn't deserve to get shot.
