  4. Let's see some consistency first. He's had a damn good playoffs this year, but years past he was labeled as a "choker" or underperformer. If his dominance continues and he wins a FEW more rings then we can talk about MJ..... Until then, he shouldn't even be compared to Kobe IMO.

  7. I hung out with Harry back when I was fresh on this site as a 15-year-old. Dude was so nice he even let me sleep in the same bed as him to save on hotels. I don't think you'll find a nicer 36-year-old man in America.

  10. Wtf is going on right now. Magic just said Lebron could be the greatest to ever put on the sneakers and JB said he is on the same playing field as Michael Jordan. People need to calm their emotions.

  11. Nope. I'll say whatever the [expletive] I want, and if you don't like it, good...I hope my words eat at you and each post I make gets you more and more steamed. I hope I offend you. I hope you hate me. I love it. For this specific case, donate it to one of those anti-bullying campaigns so there can be more done to teach kids from an early age the harmfulness of verbal abuse. But, I don't think there should be money donated at all. I can't believe people are actually up in arms over this. She's a [expletive]in grown ass woman. If she can't handle being mocked by a couple MIDDLE SCHOOLERS, that is [expletive]ing pathetic. For her to be getting half a million dollars for it is even more pathetic. Shit happens every damn day that is so much worse than this, and I ain't even talking about things as extreme as murder. Small example from my life...when I was 13 I saved my mom's life because she overdosed in front of me and I helped revive her then drove her to the hospital. What did she say a week later? "You should have let me die." Hearing that from your mom at 13 years old is awful and something you never forget, and it has stuck with me my entire life. That is worse and more traumatic than being an old lady getting made fun of by a few early teens, yet I don't expect sympathy and definitely not money. Especially with all the stories I've heard in my life from other people who have gone through truly insane scenarios, accepted what happened, fought through the struggle and came out stronger in the end. Shit like that is a part of life. Things happen to every one that is [expletive]ed up and probably deserves sympathy. Every day kids and adults alike are verbally abused in far worse and more traumatic ways than this lady was. Every day there are senseless murders, rapes, robberies, and other serious crimes commited in which people look the other way, and a lot of them don't even make the papers, blogs, youtube, or whatever. However, this is a cute old lady and it was put on youtube, so people are ignorantly acting like this is so horrible, offensive, out of the norm, or whatever. I can see people adding comments expressing their disgust and hatred towards the kids responsible for hurting her feelings, but for her to actually profit off this is ridiculous considering how this is such a meaningless and unextreme event in which she wasn't even physically assaulted and her life wasn't put in serious danger. SHE'S JUST A GROWN WOMAN WHO WAS MADE FUN OF BY MIDDLE SCHOOLERS!!! IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL!!! As for what I said at the end of my post, it was extreme, and in retrospect it is NOT her fault and I am NOT mad at her. I am mad at how ridiculously stupid the reactions are from everyone else. So, I somewhat regret saying it as that is not on her shoulders, although I am very glad I pissed Jenneral off...[expletive]ing [expletive]got.

  13. Regardless of what happens tomorrow, I have to change my views. These playoffs have been a nightmare roller coaster. First, the Pacers take a 2-1 lead and are off to a hot start in game 4 and the end seems near. Then in the next round, Boston wins three in a row and loses a close out game in Boston. Yet they still have the lead in the fourth quarter in Game 7 before losing. Then, the team I had been holding out on, the Spurs, lose 4 straight after winning their first 10 in the playoffs, leaving the team that I had little confidence in, the Thunder, to face the Heat. They manage to win game 1 of the finals, but then proceed top drop three straight. As I hoped Russell Westbrook could carry his team to a 2-2 tie, I watched another close game go to Miami. Just like that, he's one freaking win away. I had it in my mind that LeBron would never win a title because I've held onto my feelings for almost two years. I'm fine with him chasing the ring, but I believed he will never win one. After watching these playoffs, it seems inevitable that he will win. What do I do once he does win? I debated that I would stop watching the NBA for awhile, but then I realized I'm the one who has to change. In order to respect someone, you have to accept them for who they are. I've held onto the past for too long. I've spoken my opinion and argued enough, so now it's time to just move on. Do I like LeBron now? No. Do I want him to come back to Cleveland or have his jersey retired here? No. I am now indifferent. If he wins, then so be it. I'm done rooting against the Heat. Times change and so do people, and I have to accept this. I've come to realize that my idea of LeBron never winning a title is unattainable. I am a Cleveland sports fan, and this is the first moment where I realize that things most of the times don't go our way. I wasn't present for most of the hard times when things didn't go our way, and I barely remember the Indians failures in the 90's. This is my first moment. The whole Decision and struggling with LeBron. This battle between the fans and LeBron is a no contest. We've shown our disgust, and it's done nothing. In fact, he's about to win a championship. The reason I considered not watching the NBA again is because everything will now be in the context of LeBron having won a title. During the post-game press conference, what will he say to us, if anything? How will ESPN show Cleveland's reaction? Heck, he's probably winning the MVP of the finals too. And then there's the banner ceremony next season. Then, when he comes back to Cleveland WITH the ring. It's not worth thinking like that anymore. I'm over it. I am a Cavs fan. I wanted to say this before the game to make things a little easier.
