Alecia Davis Geddings > Chick-fil-A Wednesday at 5:32pm near Southport, NC ยท "About 6 months ago my husband and I were driving in Wilmington, NC and decided to go to Chic Fil A. At the corner light was a homeless man asking for "Please Help". My husband and I rode by without giving him any money. When we got to Chic Fil A, the homeless man walked in and took a seat without ordering. I was in line and my husband went to the restroom. When my husband came back, he mouthed to me, "buy him some food".... I replied, "I was already going too!" We both smiled at each other. I ordered 3 number 1s. The cashier took our order and said, "Are you sure you don't want any dessert? or ice cream? or anything else?" "No mam" I replied. Just then, a bell started ringing....we were the 100th customer, and we got our whole meal for free!! I looked at the lady in total shock, and whispered,...."one meal is for the homeless man".... the lady at the counter choked up as I was telling her. My eyes were filled with tears. The only thing that can describe this experience is, an act of God. When you do good things, good things happen!! Keep on doing what you are doing Chic Fil A.... God has your back!!!"
