Wall is capable of much more than he has put out, of course...but Irving is special. Have you seen what Kyrie Irving "inherited" from LeBron James? I remember you blasting the Cavaliers more than almost anyone else, once LeBron left, because supposedly, they gave him absolutely nothing to work with. I mean...Alonzo Gee, Omri Casspi, and a 36-year old Anthony Parker started for Cleveland last season, as did Tristan Thompson. Manny Harris started a few games as well, and does ANYONE on this site know anything about Donald Sloan? He started 11 games. Outside of an injured Antawn Jamison, who should be a sixth man rather than a starter, Irving had nothing...much less than LeBron, actually.

Women's football sucks. Women's sports, in general, suck. Recently, something occurred to me when I stumbled upon some women's football on TV; the female body is an intriguing and mystifying organism. It's capable of creating, carrying and harboring new life, but also entirely incapable of making a simple six yard pass. Mesmerizing.

The "strong bench" that OKC had last year got them in, right Robert? Harden is basically a starter, so...it was Nick Collison and Thabo Sefolosha? I'm pretty sure Horry told us that San Antonio would find their way to the Finals because of their strong bench, also. I remember him saying it. Did those LA teams...the ones he played for...did they have a strong bench?

That's fine. I was just curious, of course. OTR/DH has been up for 7 1/2 years now, so we've had our share of affiliates...and quite a few have broken ties with previous sites not only for their own good, but to damage another. I didn't see any indication of that going on, though, but I had to ask. Honestly, if you want a tip, I would cool off on the affiliates right now. Rake in your members, establish yourself on a social network(s), and take another month to do that. Then, start searching for smaller message boards that are on life support, maybe even asking for a merger (we've never merged with anyone, but it seems to be effective), or tackling HN before anyone else as far as affiliates go. Your first big one should be HN, anyway, since your community is most familiar with them. I won't name the two sites I'm thinking about, but they rushed into affiliations before, and now, neither of them are around. Instead of gaining members, linking back to the more established site brought less in and sent FAR more out.

Make sure those Twitter pictures you're trying to post have the image extension at the end (or anything you upload to imageshack, tinypic, etc).

I guess it really doesn't matter. It would probably eliminate a few useless topics in the games forum anyway. First person to create it gets a fist-pump.

You guys will fix it before I do. Staff members need to know when to end the conversation. STL, when you say the Heat are going to get ran by the Jazz, then you admit it was just to troll, people are going to either blast you for baiting the Heat fans (trolling) or blast you for making a bad prediction and trying to cover it up. Same light, Warren has done this a few times, where he has had no problem stating that Portland (or any Oregon team) will win a game convincingly, and he has been wrong every now and then. He doesn't get smashed for it very often, though, so again, I think everyone involved needs to fix the problem so I don't have to do it myself.

Moved this in here so people can see why he was banned. No point in having him on OTR.

Just checked the deleted topics/posts forum (it's basically a trash can). I don't have any deleted posts in there, from you, since one from the Wizards/Raptors topic, where you replied to BasX about creating a draft topic (maybe a double post, I don't know). Plus, the mod logs (including DL's) show nothing.

Hmm...maybe. We were scheduled to move to a brand new server in the middle of the month, sometime in the middle of the night. I'm not really sure. The move is a great, great thing though. We needed it, desperately. I'll check and see if we've been moved yet.
