  5. You have serious trouble distinguishing the religion from the followers. There will always be ignorant people. The amount of those people will always fluctuate. Yet, I will continue to take offense at your suggestion that Islam advocates any of the irresponsibility that comes from its followers. Sorry to break the news to you, but I've been learning about Islam my whole life from people who are qualified to teach it. Consider how ridiculous the idea is that my opinion of Islam would change because of polls.

  6. Why not? Because a select few don't know the proper way to react? Yes it is. Just because the media won't cover the people responding to something like this responsibly, it doesn't mean that those people don't exist. Look, I'll throw in quotes and pictures to support my point, since you feel that your pictures are enough to drive through the idea that Islam is something it really is not. Link Link http://uploads.static.vosizneias.com/2012/09/Mideast-Libya-Prophet_sham.jpg Link You have always seemed to conveniently ignore the vast majority of Islam's followers who are as supportive of responsibility and prudence as anyone in America or around the world. Use some common sense. Naturally, acts of goodwill won't receive anywhere near the same amount of coverage as attacks on U.S. ambassadors. Just because the latter is what you're hearing about, it does not mean that those people make up anything close to a significant portion of the followers of the religion.

  7. Saw this on one other board - thought it provides a good answer to your question: CP3 Billups Caron Blake DJ 6th man: Lamar for DJ 7th man: Bledsoe for Billups 8th man: GHill for Caron Finish 1st quarter with CP3, Bledsoe, Hill, Blake, Lamar 2nd quarter starts with: Bledsoe Crawford Hill Blake Lamar 3 minutes in: CP3, Caron, Turiaf, and DJ come back. (Crawford remains) 5minutes rest and Blake comes in for Turiaf. Billups comes in for Crawford. That's 10 guys in the 1st half rotation Ideal distribution of minutes: PG: CP3 36mins Bledsoe 8mins Billups 4mins SG: Billups 20mins Bledsoe 10mins Crawford 18mins SF: Caron 20mins GHill 20mins Barnes 8mins PF: Blake 36mins Odom 10mins Turiaf 2mins C: DJ 26mins Odom 18mins Turiaf 4mins I'm playing 11 guys there and I hope he does something like that when we're healthy. It still leaves a very capable Willie Green with zero PT and Hollins in street clothes. CP3 and Blake: 36mins Lamar: 28mins DJ: 26mins Billups: 24mins Caron and Hill: 20mins Bled and Crawford: 18mins Barnes and Turiaf: spot duty Only our thoroughbreds play big minutes and this should keep the team relatively healthy throughout the year. ^ They've left out Willie Green, and the sophs (Tompkins and Leslie)..

  8. One of my all-time favorite movies. BTW, the Brazilian title is "Um Ato De Couragem" ('An Act Of Courage').

  9. Wall is capable of much more than he has put out, of course...but Irving is special. Have you seen what Kyrie Irving "inherited" from LeBron James? I remember you blasting the Cavaliers more than almost anyone else, once LeBron left, because supposedly, they gave him absolutely nothing to work with. I mean...Alonzo Gee, Omri Casspi, and a 36-year old Anthony Parker started for Cleveland last season, as did Tristan Thompson. Manny Harris started a few games as well, and does ANYONE on this site know anything about Donald Sloan? He started 11 games. Outside of an injured Antawn Jamison, who should be a sixth man rather than a starter, Irving had nothing...much less than LeBron, actually.

  10. You should now see the link in the member bar, to the right of your "My Settings" link.

  11. Before the change, it was to the right of what's called the breadcrumb links. "OTRBasketball.com| OTR FRONT OFFICE| Feedback and General Support" The problem was, the breadcrumb links would sometimes show the topic title, which would stretch the page. Also, when you went into a lot of subforums (such as the NFL Gameday Archives), it would stretch across the screen and drop down to the next line, all because of the View New Content link. I'll probably just move it into the member bar, or something.

  12. Anyway...I'll find a new place for it. I can't stick it where it was, though, without moving other links. No point in having one link in the middle of nowhere.

  13. I never said it was a bad thing to use that link. I'm just one that wants to go down the list of team forums and see which ones need extra attention.

  14. I wonder how many of our members actually scroll down the main index. In my six years here, I've clicked the View New Content link just once, to actually use it...and a few times to test the link while I'm designing.

  15. Other than having to click back home after a post, what's the inconvenience? Just curious.

  16. Well, that was definitely a good way to see how many members read this topic, that's for sure. That's really why I left it open.

  17. Ah, yeah, I think I heard something about that error, actually. Some pictures won't load for other sites, banner wouldn't load on OTR once, etc...I've had it before. Firefox had it once a LONG time ago, when it first released. Not surprised to hear Chrome has the same issue.

  18. Go to Chrome's wrench, then Options. Go to the Under the Hood tab, then hit the Content Settings button. Javascript has to be turned on, and check your exceptions to make sure OTR isn't listed.
