Already expected. We had discussions about Howard actually missing the first two months of the season. For us, we have a good enough team to hang on to a top spot (Gasol is actually a better center than he is a PF) and wreck teams once Howard puts on a jersey.

Team navigation...you know, the 30 image blocks at the top of the board...do you use them, or do you just start scrolling once you arrive? If not, any idea what else could go in that space? Thanks for voting.

My concern is that some (even guests) are clicking on their team at the top, reading what is in that team forum, then browsing away from the site. I think more interest would be "forced" by not having them, basically just by that person having to scroll over the other team forums, and the NBA discussion forums. If I ever get the team sites finished (skin + banners are first priority), I will link those images over to those, and make it more convenient to reach them. As of now, though, I'll more than likely continue to link them to the team forums...but I'm really not sure if I want to go that direction much longer just based on how ineffective it's been.

ESPN just completely screwed up their standings page (changed it), so it altered everything in my Excel sheet. Give me a little bit to re-write the damn thing.

I did that up until December or so, then I added the sidebar because it took me forever to update team forums with records, standing numbers AND re-ordering them. The sidebar code is re-written a bit, but identical to the one last season (from the old skin). Then, mid-April, I started doing that for the team forums again for the playoffs...had 1-8 in the East and West, and non-playoff teams below, set up the playoff teams in sort of a bracket order.

Added the standings to the right sidebar, under the scoreboard. Look okay?

Some are still viewing the site on the old server, some on the new server (this may be the new server, actually). About 30 minutes ago, I logged in and saw the gameday posts. Right now, I see this topic, no gameday posts. Domain propagation screwed everything up last night, since our site had to be moved. I'm really sorry, guys. I'm pretty pissed about it, but there's nothing I can do to reverse what happened.

Uh...yeah, there's a problem. I'm going to look into it immediately.
