Raptors' Valancuinas injures foot With training camp still a week away, prized Raptors prospect Jonas Valanciunas has injured his left foot. While the team said a full update likely wouldn't be coming until Monday, Valanciunas does not appear to be seriously injured, though he was photographed in a walking boot outside the ACC this weekend. Valanciunas, like most basketball players, has had minor ankle issues in the past and walking boots are known to speed up recovery from minor sprains and strains. He was not using crutches and was putting weight on the foot, both positive signs. Valanciunas was to meet with the local media for the first time in nearly 15 months on Monday, but now likely won't do so until Oct. 1st, the team's official media day. The Raptors start training camp in Halifax on Oct. 2nd.

Oh yeah, I did. My iPhone was basically a brick (to me, at least), and I was already holding out as long as I could, hoping the prices would slash sooner than later. Once I started having trouble calling out, and I couldn't send text messages anymore, I had to get another. I'm sure I could have spent a little on a garbage phone, and continued to wait, but then I'd just get a cheap phone without any apps or internet usage, still paying for my unlimited data plan I've had forever, and I don't know how long I could live without all of that, lol. When I looked on eBay, the old iPhones were selling for $90-100 anyway, so I figured I wouldn't be saving much money if I decided to wait and get the iPhone 4 when it hit 99 cents.

There's actually a new IPB out, has some features I want to apply here (custom profiles, for example), so a skin will be in the works soon.

Dedicated jerseys will return, but nobody really has enough posts to get one just yet (I'm not even at 7,000). It would be nice to change the criteria, but there's really nothing else we can go by, without people calling me biased for picking certain posters and not others. Adult section is out of the question, really. I know other sites have one, but I think the hot girls thread is enough for OTR. I'd rather not have to monitor that section, anyway...and I would have to, since I run the site. Can't allow 15-year olds in there, but nobody can prove that they are of age unless they give me personal info. Food section, haha...just not active enough. OTR All-Time awards, yes...I'll get to that. Sorry. The team logos under the banner (linked to team forums), I don't know. I'll think about that. It sort of depends on how the new skin looks and feels...depends on the amount of images I'm using in it (yes, there will be a new skin, this one has a few security holes in it). Dedicated forum? That would probably come with the dedicated jerseys. NBA scores widget (actually just an iframe) will be up for next season, along with the college basketball scores. WNBA forum could be a subforum (if it isn't already), so I'll consider that. I'll throw an MLB moderator into the mix soon.
