And to say you weren't mad either would be a lie. Obviously he is mad, but you had to be mad too to do something so childish, lol. Damn no wonder why I didn't get an invite. Must not have been a weight limit either for you to get in either huh?1 point

Exactly. iMan's jimmies must have been so rustled about falling to 0-4 and getting made fun of for it that he had to turn it around and cheat just to get his first win. Then try to turn it around and say "LOL you mad!" when in reality he was the one who was mad in the first place for not being very good at fantasy football. EDIT: Obviously I'm in in that fantasy football league (good thing), but just seeing this made me laugh about how sad that is.1 point

Short 3-4 minutes, but you get a taste of what is expected of the Lakers, and the big three (didn't talk about Gasol, lol), in this one... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mq_89E_axTY1 point

Why should Allen show loyalty to the Celtics when they showed hardly any to him over the past two years? He was almost dealt at the deadline two years ago and he was told by Doc that he had been traded to the Grizzlies for OJ Mayo at this year's deadline, only to be told 10 minutes later that the deal was off as Ainge backed out. He was demoted to the bench and then saw his minutes cut. Sure, you can argue (and I'd agree with you) that it was the right move from a basketball standpoint as Avery Bradley was more valuable than a hobbled Ray Allen, but for a player like Allen, you can sure as hell bet that felt like another punch to the gut. Despite this, Allen didn't quit or mail it in. He played at probably 60% during the playoffs, never whined to the media and the only sort of clash we heard about was with Rondo, and it is a well known fact that Rondo is a very moody player. Criticize Allen for taking the easy way out and latching onto the best team in the league for his twilight years all you want, but it is ridiculous to criticize him for not showing loyalty to a franchise that has shown hardly any to him for the past two years.1 point

Discussion of other sites is allowed as long as it isn't promoting them intentionally...but I'm not going to allow members to bash any other active site.1 point

There's no way I'm selling OTR. I have no idea who Rush is, and he/she doesn't concern me. I shut down OTR for a day not because of a rumor about me, but because someone pulled strings and manipulated the entire community. Ask the members who were around. Misinformation is bad information. Yes, I know former members are spamming. I created a topic about it earlier. And what a former member says about me doesn't concern me, either. Nobody else has ever owned OTR. I've had basically the same staff for over five years. I don't promote trolling on other boards to get back at them. I don't need administrators from other sites assisting me with everything I do. I don't create 15 different sites with multiple domains, sell any, purchase any, merge with any...don't care because I don't need it. There's nothing more to say, really.1 point

It's not difficult to search. The topics are usually moved into team forums. I know most boards you visit will want you to post EVERYTHING in NBA General, but we don't want that. So if you find a topic about Kyle Korver signing with the Bulls, just go into the Bulls forum and see if it's posted yet. It's easy.1 point

Just a few things to keep in mind... 1) When creating topics, be sure to place them in team forums when necessary. There can be duplicate topics for trades (one in each team forum). If it's about a free agent signing, it goes in that particular team forum. We all have been doing it for years though...no biggie. 2) Your general draft discussion goes in those pinned topics in each team forum. However, there will be articles that you can post, and Twitter notifications (ex. Aminu gets a promise from Clippers) that you SHOULD create a new topic for. 3) All topics you create have to have decent titles. You don't have to be too descriptive, but keep in mind that these hit our search engines AND make their way to our Twitter, so do your best. Aminu gets a promise from LA Bucks acquire Maggette from Warriors Lakers show interest in Bosh Those are great examples of topic titles we are looking for. 4) I'm aware that there's an AIM chat for the draft, but I'll also create a draft discussion topic right BEFORE the draft is on, for everyone to post their thoughts in. I would appreciate at least some activity in it. 5) Post your mock drafts in the appropriate sub-forum (you'll see it in the NBA Draft forum). Get them in soon...the draft is Thursday. Thanks for the activity. I hope we pick it up even more after the draft, once teams start dealing players and those big-name free agents begin hunting down contracts.1 point

Come on guys... Can we work on this? Also, please look before posting a topic. I see at least three duplicate topics per day now.1 point

I'm going to try and get them done in about a month. I may just go with one player for each team, though.1 point

I don't see what's funny about this. I do everything I can to keep our name clean. Most of the time, it seems like some of you are so damn set on the community we have, you're afraid new members are going to somehow replace you, so you're doing everything YOU can to keep them off the board (unless, of course, they are coming here to start trouble). Three newly-registered members deleted. Thankfully, all three couldn't validate their fake emails. All three were Cavs fans, all three signed up within three minutes of that post asking others to spam OTR. Topic closed.1 point
