Not really. I didn't vote for Obama last election and I am black, oh no the world is going to end. Whatever. Romney/Ryan shot themselves in the foot when they made those statement about women. I don't even really believe in politics TBH, they all lie the only reason I vote is so I can complain about how crappy every thing is. Maybe you should have listened to everything excpet what was broadcasted. Why should I get paid less than a man when I KNOW for a fact I do do more work than any man I know.2 points

Just so you guys know, whether obama or Romney wins tomorrow it means absolutely nothing because poor people gonna stay poor, gas is still going to be expensive, there will be no change, the country is going to be screwed regardless as long as we keep voting libtards and republicunts into office1 point

Might as well put can't so you don't get the negative connotation of being a non-voter1 point

So will an 82-game season. He's not going to average 40. Earth, for him, is around 25 points a night. That should be where he'll end up. Houston will play better defenses, he will start to feel wear and tear from being a primary scoring option, and their opponents will defend the Rockets much differently after watching tape...so the 24 or so he scored against Portland, that's falling back down to Earth.1 point

You're wrong, and that's a fact. The real unemployment numbers are terrible, and if you want I can find you many liberal sources that will have that information as well. Please go. This isn't a conservative spin on the numbers. These are actual facts. You don't have to spin anything to make Obama look poor and clueless. He does that plenty well on his own.1 point

I don't pay attention to any website's ratings. You are going to listen to another person's experience playing a game that hasn't been released? That is fine for the campaign since it remains the same from the time the reviewer plays it to when you play it. When it comes to multi-player, the experience the consumer gets is 100x different than the one the reviewer gets. Your opinion can be swayed by your friends you play with, the people you play with, and the company making changes to balance the game. Just play the game for yourself instead of going off a review. No one here is all that interested in a 7 hour campaign anyways, multi-player is what will keep people around.1 point

Pretty hard to play defense when you have been getting called for every little thing all game long. Paul was struggling finishing in the game but was damn near automatic from the line so the Warriors were almost better off just hoping he continued to have his shots rim out. Barnes came up with two huge baskets late. People are going to give Curry a lot of credit for the Warriors holding on, but I don't think that GS holds onto this lead if Barnes doesn't hit that huge 20 foot jumper off the curl and then makes that runner in the lane. Both shots were huge as they came when the Clippers looked ready to take the lead and had all the momentum on their side. Those were definitely some cold blooded shots by the rook. On the other hand, his defense tonight was abysmal. He did a terrible job of sticking with Butler on those screens, especially in the 3rd quarter where he lost him at least 5 times and it resulted in 4 wide open looks from deep. He needs to do a better job of being more aware off the ball and fighting through those screens. His man defense hasn't been bad at all these first 3 games but he has had troubles off the ball. I thought Jack was the best Warrior in that game. He did a fantastic job of running the offense, knowing when to look to pass or when to look for his own, played solid defense and seemed to come up with a lot of loose, 50/50 balls. His statline was good (16/6/7) but I thought he played even better than the numbers suggest. I also loved how he got in Griffin's face after he dove on Thompson's head and drove it into the court. I know it wasn't on purpose on Griffin's part as he was just going for the loose ball, but good on Jack for sticking up for his teammate. That is one thing that I really enjoyed from him when he was a Raptor. Landry was the best Warrior big for the 3rd game in a row. He really is a huge reason why this team is 2-1 right now instead of 0-3. He single handedly won the game agaisnt Phoenix and he stepped up big time tonight again. They could easily be 0-3 right now given how little Lee has produced. I loved the signing for Golden State when it was announced and it has paid huge dividends so far in this young season.1 point

Harden fell back down to Earth a bit there. I was wondering when it would happen. Portland does have a couple of decent defenders to stick on him, or help out on him, though. Asik rebounds the ball like Kevin Love, lol. Dude is always on the glass. Morris and Aldrich sweating a bit! KU baby!1 point

i dont mind trading him. presti knew harden wanted the max and nothing else, even though he talked about sacrifice, team is his family and shit like that. im not bitching about it but you really cant put to much meaning behind what a player says these days. i like the move early on for a few reasons. one it gives that extra time for the team to mesh. two it gives presti to have the ability to make more trades if it feels fit. i dont mind the trade. i think people are overrating harden(to an extent) and also underrating kmart. but the one thing im concerned about is thabeet being our backup center... oh lawd. this trade gives us a long term and short term fix makes the season that much more interesting.1 point

http://www.discusshoops.com/images/jerseys/gamerguy.jpg http://www.discusshoops.com/forums/user/4-gamerguy GamerGuy, Kyle, Kairu, GamerCry...it's whatever. Kyle jumped into the mix three weeks after OTR was put up, and it didn't take long for me to realize he would be a great addition to our staff. At one point, Kyle became the "good guy" administrator, especially after Aaron's departure. It makes a lot of sense, because every now and then, I questioned whether or not Kyle knew how to be mean to someone. To this day, he has no idea that, when I called him GamerCry, I really meant it. The Chris Mullin of OTR (not just speaking in regards to his Mullin haircut), Kyle racked up offense throughout the forums...yet, unlike Mullin, he was found contributing for more than one team. His ability to dive into discussions and heated debates about any team or player, among any group of fans, made him an asset to our staff. The evidence was deleted by the hack, but once upon a time, Kyle did confess his love for ALCS, using his display name. I wonder if he still has that picture of me, with a picture of a rainbow in the background. Congrats, GamerGuy. You're finally in our Hall of Fame!1 point

Hey Justin, remember that massive Wii vs 360 vs PS3 thread I did way back in the day, well before any of the consoles came out? That thing was a beast, wish I could go back and read it again, lol. Thanks Shaliq. Did you know that I've had a total of 3 name changes during my tenure here? Gamerguy15 --> GamerGuy, then GamerGuy --> Kairu, then Kairu --> GamerGuy. I think I was rolling with Kairu for a good two years or so before switching back. Well, I guess I technically have 4 name changes if you count that one time with Aaron...but I mean hey, it was just guy love. Brandon: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y120/Koyote/LOL.jpg1 point

I think we have the goods to do a redraft, and we can reach back into previous drafts with it. We can start with the current 2011 Draft, and go back as far as possible. Instead of assigning picks to members, we're going to make the selections ourselves, in polls. We've done it before, but interest was lost because we were also busy with a sim league. With the NFL lockout in place, and the NBA lockout evident, I think we can make this work. What do you guys think?1 point

Server is having problems as well, minor ones, but just bad timing for all of this. Hang in there!1 point

Haha, didn't know you were over there, BFT. I rarely visit other sites these days, even TLN. And StateOfMind, I'm sure you'll run into one of our writers that will be GLAD to see you're here (hint: he's a Warriors fan).1 point

I hope you know this doesn't mean I'm a fan of Gilbert Arenas now, just a fan of your community and your administrating.1 point
