  2. The February 5 game between Golden State and Houston will be long remembered for the fact that the Rockets hit 23 three-pointers (57.5% on 40 attempts). There's an additional interesting aspect, however, that may have gone relatively unnoticed. Among Rocket players who took at least one shot from behind the arc, everybody shot .500 or better on threes: James Harden, 4-of-5Jeremy Lin, 5-of-8Chandler Parsons, 4-of-8Marcus Morris, 3-of-6Toney Douglas, 2-of-4James Anderson, 2-of-4Patrick Patterson, 1-of-2Patrick Beverley, 1-of-2Donatas Motiejunas, 1-of-1The only other instance I've found so far of all of a team's players hitting .500+ on threes (on a large number of team attempts) was when Toronto hit 21 from downtown (61.8%, on 34 attempts) vs. Philly on March 13, 2005: Donyell Marshall, 12-of-19Morris Peterson, 4-of-6Rafer Alston, 2-of-3Jalen Rose, 2-of-4Matt Bonner, 1-of-2http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=250313028 If anyone knows of additional instances of all players on a team hitting at .500+ on threes in the same game, please provide the box score in the thread below. The NBA's online record book lists Indiana as going 7-of-7 vs. Atlanta on January 20, 1995, for most three-point field goals without a miss in a game. Reggie Miller went 4-of-4, Haywoode Workman, 1-of-1, and Byron Scott, 2-of-2. What the 2013 Rockets and 2005 Raptors did on a lot more attempts is arguably more impressive than the Pacers' 7-of-7. http://www.nba.com/history/records/regular_3ptfg.html http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/199501200IND.html For those of you who find this topic of interest, I maintain a blog (and have a book) on streaky performances in sports: http://thehothand.blogspot.com/

  5. Put this on God's name, I randomly went to Basketball Reference to look up free throw attempts without a miss (by a team in a single game)...and after that, I figured I'd find the most threes attempted at 100% for a team in a single game...just a few hours ago, without looking at this topic. Landed those Pacers, and saw the boxscore. That's really creepy, lol.

  7. http://i.imgur.com/ToazRW8.png Combo of 2 that you listed. Started sagging off Felton and helping on Melo, we turned the ball over 8 times in the 4Q, open players (due to Melo coverage) missed some bunnies. 3 turnovers and a few missed shots and the deficit went from 3 to 9 and guys gave in. Bench was outscored 48-15, that was the game right there. Would be nice to see this team turn in a strong 1Q sometime soon.

  8. Nope, didn't think JJ was an All-Star either. https://twitter.com/octoberGR8NESS/status/294679697063804929 But I do find it preposterous that anyone shooting 40% should be considered a snub, and no, his name probably would not have even come up amidst the outrage if he didn't play in NY or LA.

  9. That was in response to "40% doesn't warrant selection." Sure sounded like you were making a case for his being selected. Also Not sure what you were arguing here if it wasn't about being an All-Star.
