KU was barely at the line the entire game, despite attacking the rim and getting far more points in the paint, and despite the bad calls against us and poor play from Ty Taylor, we still came out on top. Hard to take anything you say seriously when it comes to basketball. I'm not being mean, I'm being honest. For having a lot of wear and tear, he's still pretty good. He dropped 42 on Westbrook and the Thunder not too long ago.

Their best player is Tony Parker, who is younger than Dirk Nowitzki (and is only 29). DeJuan Blair is 22. S-Jax is younger than Jason Terry and Shawn Marion. Nobody on the Spurs is older than Jason Kidd. Manu has only played 20 games. Dallas was too old to win last season, also. Their best players were all over 30, one 37 years old, a couple were 33-34.

Doesn't matter anyway, because the Lakers will not be able to beat the Thunder in a playoff series (not yet, at least). Kobe is playing far too many minutes.

That's odd...I don't remember calling you a racist, but you stay strong in assuming I did. I never did believe in the "guilty cry louder" saying, though. I'm done with this, anyway. It's disappointing that anyone cares to point out how Trayvon Martin was as a 17-year old kid...when all that matters is that he WAS a 17-year old living being. People are on a basketball message board, spending all of their time posting in this topic and searching for pictures of the kid, reading numerous articles about the life he once had, trying to make sense of something that is clear as day already. Do I think there was racism involved? Sure, if Zimmerman used the word "coon" when describing him...simple as that. Do I think racism was involved in the article ECN posted, about the five year old being burned? Most definitely. The point is, it happens. It will never end. That's how life goes, and because of that, a kid is dead. Whether or not the media covers this, and doesn't cover that, and decides to cover whatever else...irrelevant to me. The outrage resulted in the coverage. People were pissed about it before the national media stepped in. That's usually how the process works. OTR is stained with posters that feed off of the political bullshit baiting, or the racist remarks made in things such as the Random Thread, or all of the ignorant "atheism vs. religion" talk...and I will not pay money to host this place if it continues going down that road. I didn't put over seven years into this place for it to turn out this way, and you can bet anything that I will stomp throats and take out the trash one final time before I loosen my grip and walk away.

This isn't Whitney Houston with cocaine, alcohol and weed in her system, causing her death...it's a kid that was unarmed, shot and killed because someone didn't follow police orders and continued to stalk him. So much speculation, but the fact is that Zimmerman decided to pursue against the orders from the police. Simple as that. Also, when you shoot and kill, you are arrested. Doesn't mater the reason. That will be sorted out later. Zimmerman was in the wrong, and the police are in the wrong. ----------- In regards to everything in between...I doubt a 6-2, 140 pound kid is going to have an advantage over a guy that weighs 100+ more pounds with a weapon, unless that kid has a weapon of his own. Even if Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman (which I doubt), I'd do whatever it takes myself if some guy was following me, threatening me. Twist it any direction you please, but there's no justification here. The media may be in the wrong as well, for spinning it or what-not, but nobody should try and make sense of this in Zimmerman's favor, at all.

If they aren't paying for anything, you have the green light to make a list of everything you're paying for, and sort of increase the numbers a bit on things like food and your water bill...and show them the list, telling them you can't do it anymore. If you really needed to get tricky without hurting their feelings, tell them your landlord is now asking that you pay extra rent because of the others living in your house. It's very common...nowadays, you even have to pay extra for pets. Don't want to go that route? Just say the landlord told you they have to go within a week, or else you're getting kicked out because they aren't on the lease, and you can't revise a lease until it expires (you can, but few won't let you).

All credit to the Thunder in this one. Contenders don't take nights off versus other contenders, unless they are the Spurs and need the rest.

Good game, bro. Thanks for not bitching about the referees, but that's usually reserved for those who do it ALL of the time and are actually known for it. Would have been a much tighter game with a healthy Marshall. I'd still take KU, but part of that is a bit of bias, haha. Glad Taylor didn't choke this game away. Barnes needed to do much, much more...wasn't really trying to be aggressive, wasn't calling for the ball...he really needed Marshall out there.

BFT is waiting for Barnes to disappear, I'm waiting for Taylor to play for UNC.
