Miller should not have taken nine shots in the game, let alone in the quarter. I have no idea why the Nuggets kept feeding him the ball like that. Maybe Karl believed that attacking a returning (but somewhat rusty) Manu was the key to winning this game? I thought he was going to do that with Afflalo, but after that first quarter, AA disappeared. Faried is a beast, by the way. Got sick of hearing the Dennis Rodman comparison (since it was stated about five times throughout the game), but it's fun watching him play with so much energy.

Pre-Lin, I thought the Cavaliers could sneak in over the Knicks. Things were looking pretty grim for New York.

No, you DO make that call because it was an easy dunk if Wade doesn't BUMP Drew with his body. That was an oop and dunk, and it prevented two points, altered Drew's path to the rim and stopped the basket. Why not bump Drew before anyone throws in the post entry pass? That would be smart? Bump Kobe before he touches the ball, right? Shoulder block anyone before they get the ball. Either way, I figured this would happen. Good. I love it. Fun game. Artest stepped his game up, big time. Kobe was Kobe. Drew had a great game, excellent defense in the paint. Having Bosh would have made it closer, but I think the Lakers would have walked away with the victory, regardless.

Better put three on Kobe. Single coverage isn't cutting it. Three clutch buckets in a row, making it look like a cake walk.

Glad Kobe didn't try and do too much with the ball denial. I hate when he overworks and ends up losing all of his energy.

Just like in 2008-09, pre-Artest, LeBron will struggle with Kobe Bryant defending him. Back on offense, a pissed-off Kobe will shred anyone...18 points, just two missed shots, end of first. Loved the airball when James was trying to get physical in the post with KB.
