  4. I get the feeling Odom never wanted to do anything...never wanted to leave the Lakers (despite requesting the trade), never wanted to be on The Kardashians, never wanted to marry Khloe...like he's just being forced to do all of this by some unknown outside force. The Mavericks fans could care less about his candy-eating habit, and I'm sure that's also depressing. Odom was like James Worthy in LA...and in Dallas, he's like James Unworthy.
  5. http://i44.tinypic.com/1snwbr.jpg Bye, Gasol! Thanks for the memories.
  6. You mean who would I take today, not considering their current age? It would be Lowry, because Jameer has fallen off as a player, especially after that injury. Lost a lot of confidence as well, and he lets things get to him (ex. his lost friendship with Dwight). Lowry is above and beyond the better defender, and that's really what does it for me. Career numbers are tough to look at for this question, because Lowry is now starting to step into a bigger role as a starter, polishing his game, while Jameer was asked to do that from the start, playing alongside a dominant center that pretty much gave him open looks.
  7. Right. Well, Collins is noticing how passive he has been, and it's a big reason why the Sixers are losing games. In five of their last 10 games (four resulting in losses), Jrue has shot the ball less than 10 times. Before these last 10, he only did it once. If you go back and look at some of those games: vs. Clippers: 2-8 FG vs. Magic: 1-8 FG vs. Mavs: 0-9 FG vs. Rockets: 3-9 FG That's against CP3, Howard as the anchor, Kidd and an excellent Dallas defense, and Lowry. Granted he played less minutes, he still wasn't as aggressive as he could have been, if you consider the fact that the Sixers really needed something out of him in those games. I noticed he does get into foul trouble, or he turns the ball over, and that seems to put a weight on his shoulders a bit and causes him to lose confidence in his play...which is something he's going to have to change if the Sixers want to advance deeper into the playoffs.
  8. I can see them as a guest (just checked). Do you have Facebook blocked from your browser, or...? That specific picture is uploaded to Facebook.
  9. Turner would get torched at the point, and given Jrue's size, I would imagine he would struggle significantly at the two. Almost every two-guard in the NBA is bigger than he is, including Wade...and getting his shot off against them, or defending them, would be three times the challenge. Jrue hasn't played a single minute at the two-guard position, by the way...and I'm pretty sure that's why. Haven't seen Evan run the point once this year, either. He probably has, late in games, but he's usually at the two or three when I watch Philly play. Just a big risk for a team that's currently seeded at fourth right now. Plus, they are arguably the top defensive team in the NBA, and moving those two out of position would certainly change that.
  10. Kobe finishes with 31 points (10-23 FG), 7 rebounds, 8 assists. Sick picture: http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc6/64897_10150688815301072_16231931071_11566681_758854420_n.jpg Drew added 13/13, and I think he had three blocks (that I can remember).
  11. Can't do that with Redbox, because of the code on the game (that's how the box reads the game when you return it). But yeah, I've rented games at Blockbuster all the time, opened them up, and noticed they weren't even BB games, lol.
  12. Kobe comes back out of the game, and the Wolves end up outscoring the Lakers a bit more before the end of the game. Solid win that we really needed, but they were without Love, so I'm not thrilled that we blew them out. We're actually one of (if not the) best home teams in the NBA.
  13. Kobe comes in, drops a quick seven points, goes back to the bench with the game wrapped up...lol.
  14. A 28 point lead down to 19, and now Kobe and Gasol are coming back in. Sick of our bench.
  15. Duncan went off in that third, 12 points on 6-9 FG. Okay, not really going off...but for Tim, yes. Spurs keeping it interesting. Glad to see Derrick Rose didn't bust his kneecap, also...had me freaking out when he fell and started grabbing at it.
  16. I'm not understanding why the schools are being "warned" about him. By the time the college basketball season rolls around (meaning, next season), he will be deemed eligible or ineligible...unless the process will drag out for that long, and I'm not sure why it would.

  18. He said this after his visit on the 25th of this month: http://aol.sportingnews.com/ncaa-basketball/story/2012-02-29/shabazz-muhammad-kansas-duke-kentucky-ucla-recruiting
  19. Ugh. Man, he visited Kansas just 3-4 days ago, strongly considering them. This sucks.
  20. Good spin move, almost looked like a travel though. Maryland trying to cut into that lead. Gotta run, BFT. We need more college basketball talk, most definitely. Props for basically holding the fort in here.
  21. Stoglin launching again. Good look under the rim by Marshall, but a "double block" on the glass, haha.
  22. Maryland can't hit a shot to save their lives, and they keep turning the ball over...combo of just stupid decisions (seems like they are playing scared) and UNC playing defense. Stoglin sucks, by the way (well, doesn't really suck, but you know...). He can score the ball, but his shooting is far too inconsistent.
