  1. Doesn't look like the signatures were printed on there (different positioning, slightly different letter sizes), so either someone else signed them, or Ruth did.
  2. Haha...I actually have good handwriting. My high school AP English teacher told me I was installed with a professional computer font. I just practice signing things like all of my doctors, lol.
  3. Maybe Boston wants one final run with Gasol, Garnett, Pierce, Allen and Blake in their five.
  4. The D-League already brings out the best in him. Just wait until he gets back on the court with the elite...it will bring out the worst. Nothing wrong with a 10-day contract, though.
  5. Maybe. http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/index.php?app=forums&module=extras&section=boardrules
  6. Goodbye, Pau. I'll go ahead and open up the banner PSD in Photoshop.
  7. I told you to wait a couple of days before you break the news to everyone.
  8. Jason Kidd Tim Duncan Kevin Garnett Ray Allen Just noticed all of these guys are expiring contracts. Same with Steve Nash. I believe Hill, Billups and Wallace are in the same boat. I think Carter and Manu have an extra year tacked on. Are we going to lose a ton of veterans this summer?
  9. Stop your bickering and stop mouthing off to each other in topics. If you don't have anything constructive to post, don't post. I don't have to name any of you guys. You all know exactly who I'm talking about. It's been going on for MONTHS, and I'm going to go on a ban spree so I don't have to read this shit anymore. I will ban anyone from staff members to the newly-registered, I really don't care who it is, how long you've been here or how many posts you have, if this continues. Additionally, I will consider reverting back to the old OTR, with strict guidelines and a word filter. So stop conducting your childish actions on this site, stop whining, and/or stop encouraging it. Every single person on this message board is a MEMBER, and nothing I will ever do will cater to one specific person, nor will I step in and take sides with anyone. We aren't discussing anything, and now I'm legitimately pissed off. Topic closed.
  10. Here's what happened, more than likely: Kobe learned overnight that you had to pass a concussion test to be able to play, and so there was a delay seeing his doctor (which you'll read about if you search for it). The delay was for him to "hope" that he will show less signs of a concussion, and once he did see his doctor, the only signs that would be evident were those that Kobe would verbally have to speak of. If the doctor says he doesn't need the concussion test, Kobe gets to play against the Wolves, and he doesn't miss games. It's really that easy to figure out. Sunday night, his eyes were [expletive]ed up, he complained of a major headache, and he was dizzy. He was supposed to see the doctor early Monday morning, but it was delayed. It was reported that he was going to wait until Tuesday afternoon...but for what? He was already back in LA, no practice. It's obvious.
  11. Weird...how does the Lakers writer know what Kobe is feeling? Is this one of those "we're twins, so we feel each others' pain" things, or...? I'm just curious, because from what I know about us humans, the guy that has the concussion symptoms is really the only guy that knows what he's feeling...and if he says he has no headache, no blurry vision, and/or no pain in his neck or ears (whatever other symptoms there are), that's pretty much what your specialty writer will be reporting.
  12. They already confirmed that he did show signs of a concussion in the locker room, right after the All-Star Game, so they kept him out of the post-game interviews. Kobe wants to play tomorrow, against the Wolves, and the Lakers obviously want him to as well...no reason to keep him out of the game. I figured that was a given, but I guess not.
  13. Your story is starting to make me pretty sad. I hope LeBron's soul heals up from this, I truly do. God, please help LeBron through this terrible decision he made to pass the ball to Blake Griffin in the closing seconds of the All-Star Game. And, somehow, toss him a few extra dollars, just in case he needs it to get by this weekend. LeBron made it a game in the fourth. He played like he was in the playoffs. Therefore, it's a meaningful game to him, and because of that, it's a meaningful game to us. You'll never get that, though, because you're so damn blind to it...FUUUUCK. Just weird. I seriously feel like I'm talking to a family member of his. Don't care anymore. Get your last word in so I don't have to go back into this topic.
  14. The mild concussion was reported by Woj and a few others. Did Wade let you know otherwise, or...? Ah, and I did say it was a mild concussion. I never said it was career-threatening. I said that concussions can sometimes be career-threatening. Yikes...
  15. You're getting there. Easiest target in sports history, huh? Not so sure about that, but he's up there. All because he has yet to win a ring? Nah...he's hated for reasons we all know. Fans and LeBron. Don't forget him. Dumbass fans and LeBron...what is wrong with them?
  16. Okay...I said that he is scared to fail, so he passes the ball far too often in clutch situations. That has nothing to do with anything you just said above. Let me put it out there for you in layman's terms. Read over and over again: what I said was replying to your post asking why the ASG was suddenly a serious competition. Simply put, you're asking us why we make it out to be so serious, and I'm asking you why LeBron did once he didn't close it out. Had he hit a game-winner, he would have been acting the way he did during the intros. Why was he so upset in what you think should be a meaningless game? Don't ask the question to us. If he's going to take it serious, why wouldn't we? If you're going to rally and lead your team by scoring like crazy for three minutes or so closing out the final quarter, be sure you're going to lead them by scoring the final bucket. How many points did LeBron have in the last three minutes of the game? I have no idea, and I don't care. If he hit the game-winning three, I'd be able to tell you how many points he scored with the game-winning shot, and the end result. Everything else is easily forgotten. Durant only had two points in the fourth quarter. How many knew that? They just know he scored 34 in the first three, and the West won the game with him holding up the MVP trophy. It doesn't matter what game...that's how things work. I'm sure they would have done the same if Dwyane Wade was in Cleveland, as his teammate, in 2007.
  17. Get off his nuts already. Block him and stop replying to his posts. I'm tired of reading it for months now.
  18. More than likely, yep...but instead, it resulted in a broken nose and a concussion. That doesn't happen when you try and grab someone. I've been hit several times in the nose playing basketball, and it takes a lot of force to get it done (had my nose broken once). It's all water under the bridge now, though. No need to discuss it any further, right?
  19. Ah, yeah...we're all taking shots at LeBron because he was SMILING. Nothing else...just a smile. This is Cleveland all over again.
