  1. Hmm...First Row is still up, as long as you use the .eu extension.
  2. Why Miami? I don't see him doing that. He can't really play the five, and he won't get any minutes behind Bosh and Haslem.
  3. You can't be shocked to hear this. The Knicks want to make changes, and they probably feel it's more about the players than it is the coaching. Who would go between Melo and Amare? I'm not surprised it's STAT. However, I do find it interesting that Knicks fans would entertain a Melo/Deron swap. I wonder if Dolan would, though. I'm assuming he sees Anthony as the money-maker in all of this, and he may have deals lined up to acquire a PG with Amare (although, I really can't think of any legit deal they could get a PG in return for Amare). OKC won't bite. Watch the Knicks trade Amare and Landry to the Hawks for Joe Johnson and Vlad Radmanovic.

  9. Yo, my TV...well... http://www.partlancer.com/pics/Parts-only-broken-Toshiba-32-LCD-HDTV.jpg Who won the game?
  10. Hmm...should have just missed on purpose. Tough to get the ball up the court, no timeouts, and get off a good three.
  11. Uh oh. Jazz are on fire. One more three.
  12. Heat just turned into the Charlotte Bobcats in that fourth.
  13. Just decided to unban a lot of our original members (Bosnian, pisol, Diesel, OldChili). It's been quite a while anyway. I doubt any of them will want to come back, but even if they did, I'm not worried about them causing problems.
  14. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/NBA-scoop-du-jour/nicolas-batum-not-done-season-113732137.html LOL @ Bynum mentioned in the article...twice...instead of Batum. Yahoo fail.
  15. High hopes for Yao making a return. With the uncertainty, I would think Morey would be a bit reserved when going out to find a center, not wanting to spend (or take in through trade) too much money, over too many years. Now that Yao is done... Two years ago...does Houston want Chris Kaman and his $9 million a year the three seasons? I don't see why they would. The same thing has happened with the Lakers over the years, and we got away with playing Gasol at center (when Drew was out) and Odom at PF. May have been a bad idea at times, but Jim Buss was so high on him (and Drew is basically his project) that the Lakers weren't going to spend too much finding backups or replacements, looking at one-year rentals and cheap players.
  16. Wow...21 voters so far? That's actually pretty good.
  17. I noticed it's a lot easier finding your team forum, also, lol.
  18. I decided to put them all into one category, to shorten the board index length just a bit AND to make it easier to scroll through all of them at once, in alphabetical order. Also, the team images have changed slightly. Hit F5 (or just the refresh button on your browser) while you're on the board index.
  19. Yep. The teams over there, since I graduated, haven't been as tall/big. Back when Coffeyville won the state championship, I was a junior, and there were three guys starting that were 6-5 or larger (around that height). It's a small school, of course...but they've transitioned from a big team that can play a half court game, to a fast team that likes to run.
  20. Fun player to watch at my old high school. He's got hops, uses that athleticism to get to the rim and block shots from out of nowhere. Tough to stop on the break. I've played him at the park plenty of times, you have to have fresh, young legs to keep up with him, lol.
  21. Nope. Would be nice if he did, though (speaking as a general NBA fan, not as a Laker fan). Griffin is a good scorer and can rebound the ball very well, but it's that defense that's holding him back. It's the difference between being an all-star and a superstar.
  22. http://www.otrbasketball.com/images/jerseys/alcstarheel.jpg http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/user/2-alcstarheel Aaron registered about two months in, and quickly became one of our best posters on the site. How many of you remember this? We have no posts to show for it (because of the damn hack), but Aaron's annoying red font was the only thing I didn't like about him...lol. Funny enough, administrators were made red because of Aaron. I took the color blue at the time. Justin remembers The Comeback. Also, who can forget the day ALCS and Shaliq went nose-to-nose? It may have been the first time anyone went off on an administrator not named Real Deal. In Terry's HOF induction, I mentioned that his idea was to create all 1,230 game topics, and he was the first to do so (manually). Aaron was the first to use Excel, concatenation, and our database, to create them far, FAR quicker...and he's the reason I still do it to this day, haha. "Dood." Congrats, ALCS!
