May get to see the entire game this time. I've been so busy, it sucks...missing most of every game I want to watch, even a couple of KU games.

Chris Paul Requests Trade to Knicks
Real Deal replied to magicbalala245's topic in General NBA Discussion
Yes, but it would be nearly impossible without having just two players on the roster (Amare and Melo). If the Knicks can get away with that, I'll be shocked. -
Chris Paul Requests Trade to Knicks
Real Deal replied to magicbalala245's topic in General NBA Discussion
Dude, come on...let's not go that route again. LeBron made Cleveland think he was going to re-sign. He then made it an event on national TV, which turned the organization into one big joke. Many people have made room for CP3 and Deron, as well as Dwight. There is no difference. LeBron basically forced the Cavaliers into trading him (sign and trade) to Miami, because if Cleveland didn't, they wouldn't have gotten a single thing in return. And what exactly did they get in return? Milan Macvan, and a few future picks that won't amount to much at all. At least the Magic could get Bynum and Odom out of the deal. -

Bad news for the Heat, by the way. The Knicks will still have trouble defensively, but any offensive team of THAT caliber can knock them off. If the Suns, Kings and Mavericks were able to find their way into the WCF with less superstar power, you know the Knicks can. -

Well damn...he didn't tell them to fix the team OR he'll leave? He just came out and told them, "I'm done. Trade me to the team everyone knew I was going to want to go to." -

Tyson Chandler doesn't expect to resign with Mavericks
Real Deal replied to Dash's topic in Dallas Mavericks Team Forum
This is Golden State's big opportunity, right here. I will be shocked if they don't push as hard as possible for him. If I was Tyson, though...I'd go find the biggest paycheck, or ask Dallas to sign and trade me. I've got my ring, I worked my ass off for it and was actually a MAJOR contributor for that team (Dallas doesn't win it without a defensive anchor), and now, I'm looking for a nice, fat check. -
Yes. They'd be around $45 million in payroll. If Howard is dealt with Hedo, the Nets would have to give more than just Lopez. Probably Outlaw. So, the Magic COULD end up with a $37-38 million payroll...but that's assuming the Nets could absorb the rest of the trade, just off the top of my head. Outlaw and Lopez are around $10 million. NJ would have to be able to absorb $13-14 million. Or...hell, they could use the clause on Outlaw early, to make more room.
