  1. Okay, wait...Rondo is better than Westbrook. Sorry. And I can't believe Gasol is at #11. Kobe gets "penalized" for his performance in the playoffs, but Gasol is still at 11? What the hell is that? Gasol was a complete ghost out there for us almost every single game of the postseason, not just against Dallas.
  2. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7115217/denver-broncos-trade-receiver-brandon-lloyd-st-louis-rams Think this means anything for the Rams? This is only a good thing...St. Louis needs all the help they can get, honestly. Lloyd isn't like he was in 2010, but then again, how much of that is on Denver this year?
  3. Dee never said Kobe was the best in the league (I'm assuming she left out Wade and Howard, thinking both are above Bryant, maybe another). And, Feelgood may have put Kobe before the rest, but he didn't specifically say that was his order, either. People tend to say Bryant's name before anyone else's because he's been around longer, has five rings, and was the best player in the league for years. Maybe Feelgood put Bryant as his top player, but Dee didn't. EDIT: There ya go.
  4. I could probably give you an argument as to why Blake Griffin is already better than Amare (far better rebounder, doesn't turn the ball over as much, more dominant in the open court), but Gasol is nowhere near Carmelo, and I can't say that Griffin is better than Melo, either.
  5. So... LeBron Wade Dwight Dirk CP3 Durant All better than the Kobester, huh? And I'm assuming that's probably the order, but then again, they've been jocking the hell out of Dirk since the championship, so he's probably above Howard. Miami Heat FTW!
  6. NOOOOOOOOOO. Man, this can't happen. We can't go from Campbell to Palmer. I would rather let Shane Lechler play QB.
  7. Nah, I don't think it would be any different at all. With a superstar like Blake, you get what he gives you. Then, later on, you focus 100% on developing the rest of his game. Right now, Blake is going to run the open court like a deer, no matter who is coaching him, because that's what teams can't stop. Get him the ball on the break, and he's at the same level as LeBron James. He'll continue to develop his mid-range game, add more post moves, etc...but he's too young for a coach to come in and completely change what he is "born" to do out there. -------- As far as playing through him more, I don't know. They can't ignore Eric Gordon, and while Blake is a threat in the post, he's not Shaq, so he's going to need all the help he can get to force the defense to spread out a bit.
  8. Yeah, I've said it over and over again...Pierce is more likely to go off in that series with Ariza on him. Same with Durant, honestly.
  9. Something like that, but I thought the cases were handled by the state to begin with, so I have no idea what any of that was about.
  10. Yeah, I think they are going overboard with their demands. A bit unnecessary. We have something similar in my hometown right now, and today, I made a very basic logo for them to use on their signs (funny enough). http://coffeyvilleforums.com/occupy.jpg Of course, the stuff being protested around here has more to do with our city, just a similar theme/idea.
  11. I hate that idea, dude. Marcus has to be in the post. His post play is what put him in the first round of the draft. There's no way you can pull him outside of the post in the pros. The defensive-minded SF's will eat him alive.
  12. The title was misleading (just changed it). He didn't come out and say he would cancel games until Christmas, he says he doesn't believe the league would be ready by then.
  13. Are you ready to leave Minnesota, or are you intrigued about the trio you can form with Ricky Rubio and Derrick Williams? Not to mention the fact that Adelman is coaching the Wolves now, which means the Princeton offense will be in full effect, and why wouldn't Love want to take part in that? Then again, what team in the league doesn't want Kevin Love?
  14. I was going to create a topic asking who the Bucks' franchise player was, but do they really have one? Bogut isn't sitting there, and Jennings just can't be the one...seems like most of Milwaukee is angry at him for the way he plays on both ends of the court. Why not just take Bogut and Jennings, take a few picks, and start wheeling and dealing for a new roster? Once the lockout is lifted, what would stop the Bucks from doing it?
  15. Do you think the Lakers still lose to Dallas if they have Ariza covering the perimeter? Or, better yet, is this signing going to cost Kobe his sixth championship?
  16. After their first playoff victory (and series victory) last season, what will it take for Memphis to march right into the Western Conference Finals? This is assuming they do re-sign Marc Gasol.
  17. Just how important was it that we brought in Ron Artest over Trevor Ariza? Facts are, Ariza's agent wasn't going to let him return to LA. Apparently, we didn't offer enough money at that time, and because of that, we decided to jump the gun and pick up Ron. Today, Ron is one of the worst offensive players on the team, and his defense is regressing a bit. Was it worth winning that 2010 championship, though? I'm not sure we actually beat Pierce and the Celtics with Ariza on board (and Artest elsewhere). Do we even beat the Thunder? Ron locked Durant down.
  18. Granted it was a second round pick, was Trey the right selection? I mean, LA passed on... Jeremy Tyler Darius Morris Malcolm Lee Josh Harrellson Andrew Goudelock Josh Selby DeAndre Liggins Isaiah Thomas These are all guys the Clippers could've considered, even if it meant moving down a bit and drafting 10 picks later. Maybe a lot of you didn't consider this last draft interesting, but I thought there were a few steals in that second round. Was Thompkins the best player available, or the best player for the Clips, at that point?
  19. Yeah, this is great. Curry just needs relocated, I think...still has a load of potential.
  20. Tyler Hansbrough was playing decent basketball late in the season, and even looked like an all-star (ha, I know, but he did) in stretches of games here and there. While it's a reach that he'll become an all-star caliber player, would you consider him trade bait at this point, as his stock rises, or do you think the Pacers need to hold on to him, watch him grow, and look elsewhere down the roster when searching for that valuable trade piece? Layman's terms, will Hansbrough be a staple in the Pacers' future plans?
