Well, Kevin Martin really doesn't offer much more (if any more) at that position, in my opinion. I actually think Ellis defends better. Evans...it's really hard to say. I'm not sure how well he'd work with Curry, and most of what I put is assuming that I'd keep Curry (because, if I were the GM, I'd want to).

Innocent is an antonym for guilty, which means that being considered "not guilty" is also being considered innocent. There is no difference. It's believed that there is, which is part of why the system is screwed up. The law? They tied a ton of evidence together, and it pointed to Casey Anthony being guilty. That's exactly how you convict someone. You don't go into a courtroom, as the prosecution, with a video of the murder. Dude, how else were they supposed to present it? They made it all clear as day, tied it all together. When someone is searching for methods of killing someone, then the trunk of their car contains evidence that they used those methods, not to mention a diary entry that points to Casey making a huge change in her life and saying she has no regrets...what the [expletive]? She doesn't report her missing for 31 days. How much more could be presented? I'm not even sure if those idiots of the jury would be convinced if there was an audio recording found in the forest, of Casey saying she hopes nobody finds her daughter. It wouldn't have mattered. The jury didn't think she was guilty of anything other than lying to the cops, which she basically admitted to. [expletive], they probably needed to be spoon-fed that. It's not the jury's responsibility to find the motive. They aren't supposed to look at those pictures and say, "How can this woman kill her own daughter?" That is also getting your emotions involved. What was their job? To take in everything from both sides, the evidence more than anything else, along with arguments, and make a decision based solely on that. Unfortunately, they didn't do it...and at the end of the day, no matter what, it was up to the jury. Those 12 jury members didn't go to law school. They were manipulated by those pictures and Casey not having a motive (which she actually did, not wanting to take care of her kid...which was stated by a couple of witnesses claiming she didn't want Caylee and considered putting her up for adoption, plus fighting her mom about who's going to take care of her, and the diary entry that states how her life is better), which makes this a sad day for our country.

No evidence? Her computer had searches of how to make chloroform, how to break a neck. In connection with that, there were traces of chloroform in the trunk of the car. That already narrows it down to the grandparents or Casey. Given the fact that she didn't report Caylee missing for 31 days, partied during this time, had a "Bella Vita" tattoo done that month, used duct tape found from the house, the blanket, the trash bag, her lying over and over again to the police...what else needs to be presented? Using the jury's logic, nobody killed her. Nobody threw her in the swamp. No DNA? Nobody did anything wrong. Caylee obviously did all of this herself. Sorry...wrong. Casey Anthony is a murderer. You don't put duct tape over your baby's mouth when she supposedly drowns, and you don't throw her into a swamp. She wasn't in a bathing suit, wasn't in pajamas, so she wasn't swimming and it wasn't early morning. You don't go out partying, celebrating, etc. She got away with it, simple as that, and I wouldn't care if someone "took care" of her later on down the road, and ironically, was found not guilty in the same manner. Casey killed her, and she covered it up. Maybe she told her parents, and maybe they helped cover it up...but there's no "maybe" about who murdered her.

I'll go ahead and answer the topic. If I'm Larry Riley, I'm putting Monta Ellis on the block for the following players: Atlanta Hawks: Al Horford, Josh Smith I'd add Johnson, but I'd rather have a big man, or a young player that can play defense. Boston Celtics: Rajon Rondo I doubt Boston even considers it, but I'm going to try and put together a package, nonetheless. I'd have to leave Curry out, though, which is why the deal would fall through. Charlotte Bobcats: nobody Chicago Bulls: Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah I doubt they'd want to deal Rose (no reason to), but I'd go after Noah just to have a defensive anchor. Luol Deng...not really sure. I like how Josh Smith can defend three positions, and I think he runs the floor better, which is great for Curry. Deng is an excellent defender, but I could probably get more for Ellis. Cleveland Cavaliers: nobody I like Kyrie, but my focus is to build around Curry. I realize that Curry can play the two, but he's an undersized combo guard, so I need to keep him at the point. Dallas Mavericks: nobody Yeah, Dirk is amazing, but he's also 33 years old, and without a defensive anchor, I'm not quite sure that somehow stealing Dirk would be good for us, because at the end of the day, I don't think we'd have the goods to win it all, and if I'm Riley, I'm more focused on the future. Denver Nuggets: nobody, unless it's a great package Can't say I'd trade him to Denver for any single player, but a package of players would be nice. Detroit Pistons: nobody Brandon Knight and Rodney Stuckey are the only two that have any value, but that's assuming we don't have a PG. Monroe doesn't help us...we have David Lee scoring buckets and not playing defense, no reason to go that route twice. Houston Rockets: nobody Kevin Martin, Monta Ellis...I could argue that Monta is a better player. No point in doing that deal. Indiana Pacers: Danny Granger Granger needs a new team, and he plays defense. I wouldn't consider him a good first-option, but unlike Collison, Curry can get him the ball much easier, taking the load off of him a bit more. LA Clippers: Blake Griffin, Eric Gordon People will try and compare Griffin to Lee, but I believe Griffin will have a far better career, and he'll learn how to defend much better as he continues to develop and adjust. Gordon for Ellis is a no-brainer, for me. LA Lakers: Andrew Bynum Can't say Kobe and Gasol because of their age. Even though Drew has suffered through injuries, I'd risk it and take him as a legitimate defensive anchor...and he's also a true low post center. Memphis Grizzlies: nobody Gay's contract is too large, and even though I'm a fan of Marc Gasol, I'm not sure if he's that big of a defensive talent to anchor a Warriors team that doesn't defend anywhere else on the floor. Miami Heat: LeBron James, Dwyane Wade Won't happen, but I don't need to go into too much detail here: they are superstars in their prime, and guys you build around. Milwaukee Bucks: Andrew Bogut He's twice the defender Gasol is, just has trouble scoring the ball...but I can't pass him up. Minnesota Timberwolves: Kevin Love, Derrick Williams Most won't agree here, and I know Love doesn't play defense, but I'm taking him for the simple fact that he's too good of a rebounder, and he spreads the floor and has excellent passing skills. I also take the chance on Williams, and I would've done it for Irving if he wasn't a PG. New Jersey Nets: Deron Williams Yes, he's a PG, but he's also a borderline superstar PG (and that's considering the fact that I don't throw the word "superstar" around easily). If I could snag him, I'm heading in an entirely different direction, possibly looking for teams that like Curry. New Orleans Hornets: Chris Paul See above. New York Knicks: Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire You'll find the Melo explanation in the Heat section. Amare gets the nod because I feel he would do very well with Curry. We'd still have defensive issues, but it's whatever...we'll just run and gun like the Suns used to. Oklahoma City Thunder: Kevin Durant Durant falls into the same boat as Wade and Melo. I didn't put Westbrook here not only because he's a PG, but also because I saw a different side of him last season, and his selfish attitude has to change before I consider trying to make him a huge piece of a rebuilding franchise. Orlando Magic: Dwight Howard Rumor has it that Golden State already made an offer for Dwight. Good job...no reason why they shouldn't. Philadelphia Sixers: Andre Iguodala He'd fit in better with Curry than Deng would. Considering Iggy (like I did Josh Smith) almost makes me want to go back and add Luol to the Bulls list...tough call for me. Phoenix Suns: nobody Portland Trail Blazers: LaMarcus Aldridge He's not a superstar, but he's young, big, and too good not to consider. Sacramento Kings: nobody Tyreke Evans is a good player, but I'd rather keep Monta. San Antonio Spurs: nobody Toronto Raptors: nobody Utah Jazz: Al Jefferson Consider him in the same boat as LaMarcus Aldridge. Washington Wizards: John Wall He's a PG, but again, there's far too much potential there. If this was the summer of 2010, I would probably have the same stance with Wall as I do with Irving right now, but Wall will be an all-star, and if he follows the same path as D-Rose, a superstar.

Are you high? Where did I say you should act as any other team's GM? The question I presented (that I had to post in caps for you), that has been consistent throughout every mindless post you've put in this topic, is based on you acting as the Warriors' GM, just as the title clearly points out. Again, stop replying to the topic if you're on another planet. Go talk about the Nuggets, or how all of us should be rich, or something. Seriously.
-
Sure they won't right after the trial, because they are cowards. They just finished explaining to themselves why they didn't believe she was guilty, so it shouldn't be so damn hard to go on a mic and tell the world. They just need time for things to calm down a bit, and for them to come up with better things to say, or else the media is going to verbally kick their ass. They know they did wrong. They know that slut is guilty. Unless they have reason to believe that George killed that little girl, they have nothing to say.
-
Because they are cowards.

That's ignorant, though. They had enough proof to put her away. Her car, her chloroform, her kid, she lied to cops...other than video footage of her killing her own child, there's nothing more to put out there. People get convicted of shit with less evidence, all the time. Hell, if I ever had to defend myself for killing someone, I'll just say that someone ran up from behind me, put a gun in my hand, and forced me to pull the trigger. That's basically it. My fingerprints could be on the gun, I could have traces of gunpowder on me, I could even say that I put the guy in my trunk and buried him, but all I have to say is that someone else pushed my finger into the trigger, and that I just tried to hide the body so the family of the guy wouldn't be so upset. Ridiculous.
-
I seriously can't believe that shit. You can get away with anything in this country. Not guilty on first-degree murder, lesser charge of manslaughter, aggravated child abuse, and basically everything other than providing false information to the cops. Wow.

Miami Heat's roadblocks for next season
Real Deal replied to Real Deal's topic in Miami Heat Team Forum
2007. He has won two rings since. -
What the [expletive] don't you understand? Here, I'm Golden State's GM. I'm talking to the Lakers. I would trade Ellis for... Kobe, Gasol, Bynum, Odom You say, "Huh? Nah, I wouldn't go that far...maybe just for Kobe and Drew." So, hey, it looks like we aren't just naming the best player from each team...we're naming the players we would consider trading Ellis for, simple as that. And, as far as salaries go, if you want a player, you make the salaries match by including fillers. The salaries are irrelevant when I'm asking the question. WHAT PLAYERS, FROM EACH TEAM, WOULD YOU CONSIDER TRADING MONTA ELLIS FOR? Trading him for a package that featured Drew doesn't mean that Drew is the best player on the Lakers. I'm done explaining. If you don't get it by now, move on.
-
Yes, multiple players for each team. And no, salaries don't have to match. It's basically asking what players you'd trade Ellis for. If I'm Golden State, one I'd consider is Pau Gasol...but, of course, I'd have to add another contract. That's not the question...but Gasol would be on the list of players I'd trade Ellis for, regardless. It is in fact easy. You're making it difficult.
-
What three teams would you say are mostly in Miami's way for a championship next season? Is Dallas still in the mix? Are the Lakers, Celtics and Spurs too old? How dangerous are the Thunder and Bulls? Can the Knicks get it together and be mentioned?
-
We've seen Josh Smith playing the four game after game, and while the Hawks have a lot of talent from the 1-5, they just don't get the job done. How would they fare with a true PF (let's say a post PF) drawing attention near the rim? Smith is a hell of a defender at the four, but what he doesn't provide is a consistent and dangerous post game down low. Is this where the Hawks need to look?

Andrew Bogut (obviously the starting C) Brandon Jennings (G) Stephen Jackson (G/F) Ersan Ilyasova (F) Luc Mbah a Moute (F) Beno Udrih (G) Carlos Delfino (G/F) Tobias Harris (F) Chris Douglas-Roberts (G/F) Keyon Dooling (G) Earl Boykins (G) Jon Brockman (F) Drew Gooden (F) Jon Leuer (F) Shaun Livingston (G) Larry Sanders (F) Michael Redd (G) Would Milwaukee try and stick Jennings at the two, much like Philly did an undersized Iverson? Udrih may be a couple of inches taller, but he's a point guard, and there's no other position he should try and play. Who starts at the small forward position? Will Tobias Harris get a few more minutes than projected?
-
It was clear that, when Knight fell and was eventually drafted by the Pistons, he was angry. The interview had a weird vibe, and Knight's facial expressions were convincing enough. If you were Knight, would you be upset to be in Detroit? If not Detroit, what better place? Is it the fact that he's now going to have to fight Rodney Stuckey for the point guard spot, or split minutes with him, over having to snag those minutes from someone like an older Jose Calderon? Was he upset that Sacramento passed on him (had they not made the trade), and he knew that they were taking Jimmer just a few picks later? Did he want Utah?
-
Is it more important for the Knicks to focus on defensive-minded players in their backcourt, or look to bring in a facilitating, pass-first PG and try to find a defensive anchor up front? Or, should they find another scorer at the point? Would you consider that player's veteran experience, or even any kind of leadership on the college or NBA level, or is that less relevant?
-
List all of the players you'd consider dealing Ellis for, from each team below (copy and paste). Ex. if you would do it for LeBron (even though Miami wouldn't), list him anyway, even if salaries don't match (hey, you're a GM...you could always put one together, right?)... Atlanta Hawks: Boston Celtics: Charlotte Bobcats: Chicago Bulls: Cleveland Cavaliers: Dallas Mavericks: Denver Nuggets: Detroit Pistons: Houston Rockets: Indiana Pacers: Los Angeles Clippers: Los Angeles Lakers: Memphis Grizzlies: Miami Heat: Milwaukee Bucks: Minnesota Timberwolves: New Jersey Nets: New Orleans Hornets: New York Knicks: Oklahoma City Thunder: Orlando Magic: Philadelphia 76ers: Phoenix Suns: Portland Trail Blazers: Sacramento Kings: San Antonio Spurs: Toronto Raptors: Utah Jazz: Washington Wizards:

Chicago's free agent options at SG
Real Deal replied to Real Deal's topic in Chicago Bulls Team Forum
I can agree with a lot of that, but decent defense? J-Rich is horrible on the defensive end. Quentin Richardson is the good defender. Jason is lucky to have Dwight Howard contesting all of his assignments at the rim. -
How important is Andrei Kirilenko to the Utah Jazz?
Real Deal posted a topic in Utah Jazz Team Forum
Assuming we actually had a CBA right now ( ), Andrei Kirilenko would be on the market. AK47 has been with Utah since they drafted him in 1999, playing in a Jazz jersey since he came over here in 2001. Rumor has it that Mikhail Prokhorov could be after him (either it's true, or it's based on both being Russian...go figure). Just how important is Kirilenko to the Jazz right now? Aside from Gordon Hayward, they really don't have a true small forward. CJ Miles is a primary two-guard that really struggles at any other position on the floor. Raja Bell is a two-guard. The beef of the Jazz seems to generate with their bigs up front: Jefferson, Millsap, Okur, and Favors are all power forwards or centers. What do the Jazz need to do? AK made almost $18 million last season. He's a ten-year veteran that's 30 years old, who isn't exactly showing any real decline in his statistics, but not as impressive as he was 6-8 seasons ago. Keep him, or let him go to save money and look at free agents for the next two seasons? -
Jamal Crawford Delonte West DeShawn Stevenson JR Smith Tracy McGrady Shannon Brown Jason Richardson .Just a few unrestricted free agents, off the top of my head...which ones (including those I didn't name) would you think Chicago needs to go for? Who would be the missing piece? Do you want a veteran that knows the ropes, or a young and athletic player? Does Chicago look for that shooter that can spread the floor at that position, or a defensive-minded player that doesn't need many shots to be effective? Do they go for broke and try and get Crawford or Smith in a sign-and-trade?
