Pippen: LeBron 'Probably Greatest Player To Ever Play Game'
Real Deal replied to SRV's topic in Chicago Bulls Team Forum
So Jordan didn't dominate on the defensive end, and didn't get his teammates involved? This is news. -

Everything seems to be a struggle lately. I had to switch to another primary doctor, mainly due to my diabetes and HBP, and this guy flipped out. He put me on three different BP meds (was already on two). My BP was 180/110 in the office, but it usually runs lower (still high, but the norm for me would be 140/90). The nurse in there knows I have white coat syndrome (BP rises in the office, no matter what). He ended up giving me two different pills while I sat in the office, and two hours after I got home, my BP reading was 97/64. Felt like I was dead...pulse was down to 61. He's freaking out because I have a lot of sodium in my diet, I am very aggressive playing basketball, and I work out, all of which cause my blood pressure to go up. I eat a lot, and I'm not a vegetarian, so obviously, I'm going to have plates filled with sodium. Also, I'm not going to stop playing ball or working out. I'm going to take a step back and consider restructuring a high protein, low sodium, low fat diet. It's just hell because I really don't have the money to spend on 30 days of healthy food each month, when most of that food has gone up in price. Eating healthy isn't too bad, but paying for it leaves your wallet empty. Plus, I'm going to have to cook much more for lunch. I don't mind cooking dinners (my girl and I take turns), but I try to avoid cooking a complicated lunch. Now, I'll have to consider it. Cold cuts are high in sodium, so 2-3 quick sandwiches won't do it for me anymore. Same with canned food. Just a hassle. I gotta see this doctor every two weeks now, for at least the next three months. He also wants blood drawn every three months. Ugh. Ridiculous.

The big three (Bosh, Wade and LeBron) scored 69 of the team's 83 points in Game 5...83% of the team's points. Just as shocking, after Mario's free throw with 2:21 left to go in the 3rd quarter, the big three scored the rest of the team's points...all 33 of them.

Here's another vid of him days before he passed away. I'm assuming he was nearly blind in both eyes (looks like completely blind in the right eye), and you can tell he has no control of any muscles.

That only means more time outside to actually play the sport. Usually, I stay home at night, when a lot of people go out and enjoy the weather...although, it really doesn't last, because it starts getting a little cold in mid-November. Still, two weeks. I'm hyped about the draft. Sad for OTR, though. We're going to struggle with the lockout (if there is one), because free agency will be suspended, and nobody will be able to make trades.

Nah, that was definitely a foul. There was a play where someone (I think it was Rose) tried to get a ball that LeBron was fumbling, and it looked like the ball almost hit LeBron in the face when he tried to pull it up quickly. Rose's hand was on the other side of the ball, and I don't think he even hit it, let alone LeBron's face. Then LeBron gave him the same delay and flop that Bosh gave Boozer earlier in the season. But yeah, it didn't lose the game for Chicago.

I never really considered Bosh a horrible defensive player. I just think Toronto used him improperly, played him out of position quite a bit, and wanted him to be some kind of defensive anchor. The gap between the two (having to defend your man, at your natural position, and being a defensive anchor and in the wrong position) is far, far too wide for someone like Bosh. LeBron, Wade, Anthony and even Haslem (now) are great guys to have by your side on the defensive end. They are definitely making life easier for Bosh. It's one thing to defend Boozer with Derrick Rose attacking the rim, but when you have athletic freaks flying into the lane and contesting everything, you can stick with your own assignment, and that's why the Heat can get away with playing somewhat small.

He finally reached it, and I'm not sure if anyone else around is good enough to eventually take it from him (not yet, at least). Durant is still having a LOT of trouble. Dwight decided to prove he can take over games, though, and there's no single player in the NBA that changes an offensive strategy better than him...easily the best defensive player in the NBA, and his offensive presence is still very, very effective (saying "presence" as it includes his actual production + presence on the court).

Rose took 120 shots to get 117 points in the series.
-
I wanted Thunder/Bulls, I get Mavs/Heat. Cuban/LeBron. UGH.
-
Rose choked with the FT miss, just like he did in Memphis. Jaw is not dropped.
-
Rose went at James, and he got the foul. LEARN FROM IT. He should've done that shit in Game 4.
-
Rose is so overrated.
-
OH MY GOD.

Here we go.

Absolutely love this crowd.

And a technical...lol.

Aaaaand Korver called for a travel. I'm not surprised. That was definitely not a travel. EDIT: ANOTHER FOUL. I can't believe this shit.
-
LOL, how is that a foul on Deng?
-
Bosh gives Boozer one of the most obvious flops in NBA history earlier in the season, and now LeBron wants to contribute with another sissy flop. Boring game. I can't believe one of these teams will be in the Finals.

I wouldn't call it a disaster, but I really don't consider anyone on the cast funny. I mean, some people love George Lopez. I think he's one of the worst late-night hosts I've ever seen. Just a personal preference.
