  1. 1) Jordan 2) Kobe 3) Shaq 4) Hakeem 5) Duncan I started watching basketball around 1989 or 1990, so I didn't see much of Magic and Larry, just games I've downloaded or have seen on Classic (which has been quite a bit, but not compared to those I listed above).
  2. The shot-blocking thing is really a matter of opinion, still think Reggie Lewis is right there with Wade because he blocks those he defends more than he does others off help, but I'm already done arguing about Rose finishing at the rim because I'm pissed off at him after Game 2's catastrophe.
  3. The only thing that I would worry about is CP3's knee. Apparently, it's bone-on-bone, and he's really too young for that (he has Kobe knees). In 2-3 years, it could change the way he plays the game, and I'm not really sure if CP3 would be as effective playing any other role.
  4. It wouldn't surprise me if the deal fell through because Kahn was unwilling to give up Rubio.
  5. I don't think the schools should be allowed to make unhealthy foods available to kids in school...but at the same time, you shouldn't be allowed to stop a student from bringing what he wants to eat for lunch. There's a difference between the school and parents. If a student brings a cupcake for lunch, the school needs to turn their head. One big reason for this is because of me, being a diabetic, I needed to do things like this back when I had gym class right before lunch. I needed the sugar. As far as providing it for the students, in candy machines and what-not, it's fine to avoid that, but they shouldn't be able to regulate what you eat for lunch if that student is packing it.
  6. This is what I figured Kahn would do...give up too much for someone like Granger. He needs to keep the pick if he's going to do that, but I've already put in my two cents.
  7. They removed the snack and pop machines at my old high school back in 2004, two years after I graduated, and replaced them with sandwich and juice machines. Also, they took out what was called the "Snack Shack" (where we would get stuffed crust pizza, chicken strips, etc) and added a salad and sub sandwich bar as a second option (first option was obviously the school lunch). I don't even know why this is newsworthy. This has been going on for a while now, and banning cupcakes is far less serious than regulating what you eat for lunch every single day, especially when the school doesn't have an "open lunch" option.
  8. Members that have a join date prior to June 27th, 2009 have already seen changes to their profile.
  9. That would be pretty jacked up if this led to a huge investigation, and they busted Kyle Korver.
  10. You mean the attempt to get the crowd into the game? I HATE WHEN GUYS DO THAT. What a jackass! I see it this way: if you're losing, put your head down and go pout. Game is over, no matter how much time is left.
  11. So you're thinking the Cavaliers getting Kyrie Irving is going to be that big of a deal, huh? That it's going to change the course of the league, and basically show a middle finger to an entire city of fans?
  12. I'm going to be deleting a lot of old PM's sometime next week (let's just say on Monday). I'll probably go back 30 days and delete anything older. If you have any PM's you would like to save, go into each one (conversations) and look to the left sidebar. You'll find an option to archive that conversation (which will send it to your email address). This is very important, and will help minimize the size of the database. Thanks.
  13. Cleveland deserves the top pick because they won the lottery, and made a helluva trade with the Clippers. Get over it.
  14. Nice speed-reading. Congratulations on your victory.
  15. Sour grapes? LOL...dude, yours were so sour after Game 1, you didn't even post. The only reason why I made the comment was because it's annoying as [expletive] when you bring up LeBron being able to close, but then you completely ignore it when he sucks ass. If you're going to keep posting it when he does close, be sure to mention that he doesn't when he fails, or else you're making yourself look like a nut-hugger. Look at what numbers? The Heat win off of their ability to get to the line, and they've been doing it since the first round. Would you like for me to post the numbers? They are shooting worse than their opponents, from any spot on the floor, but are getting to the line. Tonight, Chicago was playing very good defense from time to time, but some of the calls were complete trash, and they were at the worst times. Even Reggie Miller had something to say about it, which led to a big fist pump from me (and I don't even like Reggie). It may have been Kerr that noted that the Heat are usually shooting worse than their opponents, but the free throws are winning them games. What happened in Game 1? They shot 15 frees total, and were blown out. Tonight, they had Rose in foul trouble from the first quarter on, put the Bulls in the penalty with nine minutes to go in the second quarter (which was absolutely ridiculous), and both Bogans and Noah picked up quick fouls to put them on the bench (Bogans with three in just 16 minutes of play, Noah had to sit as well). The timing was the problem. When a ref calls three fouls in less than 24 seconds, two of which were on Watson (he only played six minutes), that's asinine. But, whatever...seen this story before.
  16. He struggled the entire game. He went into selfish mode near the end, which is going to be easier to defend because the help came over quicker, left guys like Korver open (who wasn't hitting a damn thing), and Rose continued to falter. The point is, Bibby and Chalmers have help behind them. There's no need for LeBron to step up and try and take that defensive assignment, because he'll get torched when Rose is at full strength, and there won't be a clone of LeBron waiting near the rim.
  17. LOL, you didn't post this after Game 1. EDIT: You didn't even post after that game. LeBron, Bosh and Wade were all scoreless for most of the 4th quarter. Bosh didn't have a single point. Wade had three free throws. LeBron didn't score until four minutes to go...and the reason was because Korver was out there, and Asik had just come out of the game with a busted chin. ----------- By the way, when there's bad officiating, I notice it's always bad for both sides...that's really weird.
  18. I guess I can change it to that, but are you sure you can't find your profile? It won't go to it from that link?
  19. Part of the blame goes to Thibodeau, leaving Korver on the court. No point in doing that. He had the balls to keep Boozer off, so I don't know why he didn't trust his defense. They needed offense, but Korver was giving them nothing on either end of the floor. Referees need to be more consistent. It pissed me off seeing them call 3-4 consecutive fouls on Chicago, in about 30 seconds. Just ridiculous. That crap put the Bulls into the penalty with around nine minutes to go in the second quarter, which eventually gave the Heat the lead. Boozer sucks. Rose was terrible, missed far too many layups he should've put in with ease. I haven't seen him do that since one of the games in the Pacers series.
