  1. That was his point. He said he didn't need a website to tell him that the Knicks were swept...because it was expected.
  2. Nitro (if you even know who that is) and I have disagreed with each other quite a bit, over and over again, more than you have posted. Same with Blasco and I. BFT and I have gone back and forth. You know what the difference is between those three posters, and you? You don't debate. You have nothing on the table when you make your posts. Read your first reply in this topic. All three of those guys, the three I've had the most disagreements with, are still here. I've never, ever told them I'd suspend them. Would you like more examples? Do you even know who Jammin is? He hated the Lakers more than you, and we had our heated debates, and eventually, I made him a moderator and, at one point, an admin. Again, you're looking foolish.
  3. Yes sir. I lost a pretty damn good admin because of it (he doesn't post much anymore) and most don't pay attention because it's either not their team, or they hate the Lakers themselves. Winning sucks for the losers. I'm sure even you didn't want to see a third-consecutive championship (which is cool), but you weren't being a bitch about it. There are many people that hate/dislike the Lakers on OTR, but they have my respect by the way they respond to the things that happen with the team, good or bad.
  4. Don't worry, we all know this. New York has two total championships in the history of their franchise...just saying. I'd never expect Melo to do that. Maybe LeBron or Wade, Durant or Dwight, MJ when he was playing, but not Melo.
  5. Not too difficult to figure out. People that bring up the Heat in topics not relating to them are just haters, and have nothing to say. People that bring up the Lakers in topics not related to them are cool because their team may be in the ECF. It's no surprise that it goes unnoticed, though. It reminds me of the rubbish people were saying about how Laker fans dive into Heat topics to bash a poor shooting night by LeBron, when actually, more people have been criticizing Bryant lately, and it was proven in our topics. Feels like some fans would rather have the Lakers lose, versus seeing their own team win, and when it finally happens, they make it a big deal and brag, as if their own favorite team has anywhere close to the five that the Lakers have raked in over the last 11 seasons.
  6. Phil isn't coaching anywhere else, unless he breaks up with Jeanie Buss. Sorry people.
  7. Guess you made an ignorant comment, then. DON'T BE BRINGING UP KOBE IN TOPICS THAT DON'T PERTAIN TO HIM, DAWG. HATERS GONNA HATE.
  8. OMLORD, I'm pissed because you brought up Kobe in a topic he wasn't a part of. You need to straight up chill, for real, dude, idk man wow, this has to mean you're in doubt.
  9. You were referring to me when you said it, not "most Laker fans." You said, "The point he's trying to make..." So, yeah, get off my nuts. Like I said, I have stated time and time again that the Lakers would struggle, and that they never took advantage of the easy schedule they had in the first half of the season, that Gasol was struggling, that Ron wasn't the same. If you want to sit and assume something else, do it with someone else, or I"m just going to make you look stupid. Actually, pricks, I wasn't the one that brought the Heat into the debate since the topic was bumped. Also, to make you guys look like total jackasses, as you both usually are when anyone says anything negative about the Heat...I didn't say a negative thing about them. I was praising them. Of course, you look to your left, see the Lakers logo in my rep, look to the right and see the word "Heat" in my post, and automatically think I'm being a troll, much like you two. Real talk? Your acts are getting annoying, especially from someone that shows up only when a poster has something to say about the Heat. I'm never in doubt, in any argument. I don't dive into a topic spitting nonsense, throwing out false information about sweeps players have/have not been involved in, or returning after a long layoff and saying absolutely nothing in a trolling, irrelevant post. I don't ask anyone to agree with me, but don't be a troll, or you'll end up like that one Shaq fan that used to post here, and the other guy that had old food in his display name. I'm sure you'll enjoy posting with them, Abro...you'd probably fit in pretty well.
  10. I wanted to post while the game was going on, but wow, I was too caught up in the moment. My dad was rooting for the underdog (Grizz), and my brother was pulling for the Thunder. Girlfriend is a Thunder fan. I'm neutral and still depressed about the Lakers, and just hoping the game goes into 5 OT's and a fight breaks out between Perkins and Gasol. Awesome game. Turnovers really killed the Grizzlies, and once the fatigue set in, their post play was out of the equation.
  11. Would you like for me to point out how many times I've stated that the Lakers were in trouble on a Lakers message board? Back in November, December? It would make you look even more less intelligent than you do now. I already provided proof where I stated the Heat were legit contenders (in the Kobe blame topic earlier), when many other Laker fans were doubting it. I'm not a dumbass fool like a lot of homers that support the Lakers and Heat. If you don't know what I've said in the past, don't act as if you've been around to know. Ironically, you registered when LeBron joined the Heat.
  12. I never liked the Perk trade to begin with. The Celtics lost a huge part of their defense when they basically removed him from their paint. I provided the stats that proved he was just as effective as Garnett (on the defensive end), but just watching these games will do the trick.
  13. He wasn't able to most of the season. You see how annoying it is when people play with stats?
  14. Series over. The Celtics don't have the knees to come back from a 3-1 deficit, especially with Rondo (who was arguably their best player all season long) with one arm.
  15. Traveling ass bitch. Someone needs to put LeBron on his back.
  16. ...best big man defender...aside from Bosh, who is super special! http://chrisrrau.files.wordpress.com/2011/02/chris-bosh-skree.jpg
  17. Quickly put to rest by John Ireland this morning, on the Mike and Mike show. He is at every game, sidelines, and he said that there was never a time where those two stopped talking to each other, and he never sensed any tension between the two. This is just a rumor that Plaschke decided to run with.
  18. Udonis Haslem was activated for tonight's game. If he's close to healthy, many have no idea how huge this is for the Heat. He's their best big man defender.
  19. If Dwight is willing to leave, it would be in Orlando's best interest to deal him for the best players available. We saw the mistakes Cleveland and Toronto made with LeBron and Bosh. Denver decided to avoid that mistake, last second, and they got a nice package for Melo in the end. I'm not going to sit here and say it's 100% official that he's going to leave, but Otis Smith has put a lot of weight on his shoulders lately, and that may be the one thing that really forces him out the door. I didn't think the old Orlando squad could win it all, but removing the pieces they had and surrounding Dwight with even worse defenders and inconsistent shooters, plus the bad contracts? It wasn't the right move, at all. Can Orlando pull off a very good, one-sided trade to give him help? That remains to be seen, but it's going to require a dumb team on the other end, because nobody wants Gilbert, Hedo, or J-Rich without getting back an all-star player.
  20. Iggy is considered a forward, but yes. Tony Allen is, easily, the best defensive guard in the NBA. Deng is the best defensive forward. Both should be on the first team.
  21. Uh, actually, if you're talking about this current Lakers team, against Dallas, and any Jordan teams against the Mavs...Horace Grant is twice the player Gasol was in this series. That's probably where you've screwed up your side of the argument. Outside of Kobe and Drew, the Lakers didn't do a damn thing against Dallas, and none of that rests on those two players, and none of it would rest on Jordan, either. I'm not debating who is the better player. I'm telling you that you're wrong in your assessments. Jordan didn't have a 2009 Gasol to throw the ball to, but he's thankful he didn't have a 2011 Gasol, specifically the one that logged 13/8 on 42% FG in this playoff run, and was arguably the fourth best player on our team.
  22. Whoever the Thunder, Grizzlies, Mavericks, Bulls or Hawks can beat. It would be nice if they both canceled each other out, to be honest. I guess Boston, now that Rondo is injured, because without him, they could be toast against the Bulls.
