Tell us everything when you get a chance to. Glad to hear it's all going well.

He is who we thought he was.
-
That doesn't make sense...not sure how you can do that to a player under contract.
-
The game is important even if he doesn't rest them. If the Heat lose, you're pissed. Gilbert is going to have to change the team if he wants to beat Miami. He stated he was going to, and would win a ring before LeBron did...funny, but that's the point, and that's what fans have been looking forward to. You don't get it because you're the one that has James on your team now, so it's a lost cause repeating myself. I already explained what the main reason was. Plus, my initial post wasn't that bad. ESPN has been dogging the Heat for their big three pulling a Cincinnati Royals act, yet barely winning the game against a non-playoff team in Houston. It was actually funny because I gave them 120 points and 50 boards (40/16 for each, basically) and gave them the win, but I guess that wasn't enough for you...serious or not. Hell, I didn't think LeBron was serious when he was talking about 7-8 rings, but maybe you did. Good thing LeBron doesn't have an OTR account. You'd be railing him for a post he probably would've made about Cleveland after their loss to LA, right?

Nike for most everything, and some Jordan gear. I really don't care...dress to play ball. If you see me at a party, grocery store, or at the doctor's office, it doesn't matter...I wear basketball shorts under sweats, have shoes with me when I'm wearing my Jordan sandals, wife beats under my shirts just in case I get hot. I'll wear cologne and fix the hair, but I don't take two hours to get ready. Middle finger to any chicks that don't like it.

And, on top of that, a Cleveland win means the Heat lose a game and fall back another loss in the standings, behind the Celtics and three losses behind the Bulls. Miami is good, but I'm pretty sure they want HCA over as many teams as they can. Would you be pissed if Spo rested James, Wade and Bosh 30 minutes tomorrow night...in a loss? Suddenly, you'd see how important the game is for you, and why the Cavs want this more than they wanted the first one.
-
...again, that's not the main reason why I replied. Part of it, but not the bigger picture. Maybe the Heat need to have a 60-loss season so all of your games can be meaningless, too.
-
And it probably does cut off (we'll see in a minute) due to the punctuation in the name...not why I replied, really. I see why it would mean a lot. The first time you guys came out, some of the players were happy and talking to James, and it didn't seem to sit well with anyone in the arena. Just didn't feel right. Then, being humiliated, instead of beaten, just left a sour taste. I don't expect Cleveland to win, but for kicks, I hope it's close, and the players actually take things seriously and play with a chip on their shoulder...especially after the Twitter comment, when the Lakers blew Cleveland out by 55.

You aren't going to get away with taking shots at another member (or his team, his city, whatever you were doing), and then lie to me about it. The 50-point comment is just being cocky. Why even ask him about the importance of the game? And I won't lie...I actually expected it from you. On we go. Good luck tomorrow. Yeah, I know, your team doesn't need it.

Here's the funniest part of that article... Oh! Most valuable player then, right? Could the Philly defense hold opponents to 60 PPG? Otherwise, I'm really not sure how they were going to win games without scoring. Allen Iverson's Sixers were the only team to beat the Lakers in the playoffs (in one game of the series). It was behind Iverson's 48 points. Would anyone like to list the amount of times Iverson doubled, or even tripled, the second leading scorer on his team in each game that season? Defense wins championships...if you can score. Anyone know the teams that have been ranked worse than 15th (worst half of the NBA) in offense and STILL won it all since 1980? Try Detroit, in 2004...and that's it. How valuable was Iverson that season? MVP valuable because he drew in the entire defense, fed his shooters, and scored the points they couldn't. Maybe some of you didn't actually watch the team, so forgive me for being harsh...but the writer is dead wrong if he's going to say Iverson didn't deserve his MVP.

The Heaters, and no, the Two Musketeers will probably be pulled by the end of the first half, when the Heat are up by 50.
-
You didn't answer my question about changing his name to just "Cleveland" (which is significant when we're talking about teams respecting each other). And LA has nothing to do with this, lol. If this were the Celtics, I think you could make that argument because they are our rivals and are champions, but not with teams like the Heat, Pistons or Kings.
-
Well, the two superstars and the other guy all had 30/10 each the other night, so I'm guessing you don't have enough confidence in them to have 40/15 games against a team you guys will obviously manhandle as if they were a junior high team? You don't know why I made a comment in this topic? Why did you change Cleveland's Finest name in the quote box to just "Cleveland" anyway? Oh you cocky Heaters you.
-
Nevermind, I know what I need to post. The Heat are going to WIN BY 50 and KILL the Cavaliers, and all players on the Heat will have perfect games, even superstar Chris Bosh.
-
Or...THE HEAT WILL LOSE! Not sure which you want me to post.
-
Cool comparison between this season, and the 2000-01 season. I'm sure those comparisons will last through June as well, almost identically.
-
It's fake. He gave himself away right before he started playing the song faster. One of those balls hit a lower part of the keyboard, and the following one went back up...and that's not how the notes came out.
-
James, Wade and that one guy are going to have a combined 120 points, 50 rebounds, and the Heat will win 122-116.

McDyess had a legitimate injury tonight. He hurt himself in the previous game, and you could tell. Thanks, Portland.

Can the Lakers catch the Spurs?
Real Deal replied to Real Deal's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
Spurs lost another tonight. That's four in a row. -

It's on PSN and Live. Pretty difficult game.

Jimmer Fredette's Professional Potential
Real Deal replied to 3pointgod's topic in NBA Draft History
The three is 23'9" (as you said, isn't as short), but he's been shooting long threes all season long. Range won't be a problem. He'll have trouble shooting over two-guards, but I doubt any NBA teams will play him at the two. He'll be a scoring point, and he gets enough elevation on his jumpers to shoot over almost any point guard in the NBA. But look at Allen Iverson. He had no trouble taking shots on two-guards. Jimmer is two inches taller. It's all about the way you elude your defender, using your ball-handling and your teammates. You have to consider the fact that Jimmer won't be drawing all of these double teams when he's in the NBA. For the most part, if he lands on a team that has a superstar and a few decent players, he'll be open quite a bit, and MUCH more than he was at BYU. -
Kobe would have to average 40 PPG to get another MVP.

Can the Lakers catch the Spurs?
Real Deal replied to Real Deal's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
If the Lakers finish these last nine games at 8-1, and the Spurs go 4-5, that would tie the two teams, and the Lakers would own the tie-breaker assuming they beat the Spurs in that last game against each other and end up with the better conference record (which would be likely if the Spurs go 4-5 to end the season). Without Duncan for what could be the rest of the regular season, and possibly no Manu for a couple of games, the Spurs could be 3-6 to end the season, just looking at the games...which would give the Lakers more breathing room. -
Right now... 1) Spurs (57-16) 2) Lakers (53-20, 4 GB) Nine games left for both teams. Duncan is hurt and not playing, Manu suffered a left quad contusion and could miss a few games. Spurs have lost three in a row, and their remaining schedule: vs. Portland vs. Boston @ Houston vs. Phoenix @ Atlanta vs. Sacramento vs. Utah @ LA Lakers @ Phoenix Lakers are 15-1 since the All-Star break, and their remaining schedule: vs. Dallas @ Utah vs. Denver vs. Utah @ Golden State @ Portland vs. Oklahoma City vs. San Antonio @ Sacramento Is it possible? Sure didn't seem like it back in the middle of February. :o
