  1. Kobe, after the Heat game... http://twitpic.com/48c7ve
  2. Blown calls on the goaltend by Big Z, followed by the offensive foul on LeBron (illegal screen on Kobe), then Wade tears into Kobe's arm under the rim (where Kobe lost the ball out of bounds). The rip by Wade was not a foul...don't really consider that a reach, and I really don't like that call to begin with...but those other three blew this game. Regardless, it's the [expletive]ing Heat, and they were on a five-game losing streak. It shouldn't have been close. Rebound the ball, and close out on shooters. My bad...add two more calls: 1) LeBron's flop when Ron supposedly pushed him, and 2) Wade's foul on Kobe when he put up a jumper. http://d.yimg.com/a/p/sp/getty/55/fullj.22b0e44d96c160738e46586a586a4b97/22b0e44d96c160738e46586a586a4b97-getty-103892034me002_los_angeles_.jpg
  3. Expected. We did the same thing last year against the Cavaliers.
  4. WOW. He [expletive]ed that dude UP. Amazing shot. Someone get this from Youtube.
  5. From the same article... Might as well rip quotes from more than just Broussard, even though he was the one you agree with. Looks like everyone else is either blaming the bench, or the Big Three.
  6. Can't believe you didn't say Paxson's Game 6 game-winning three against the Suns. It won their third title. :o
  7. Just finished watching this game. I can't believe the Warriors lost. Monta and Curry sucked, and I really have no idea what I should say about Biedrins, other than the fact that he is completely worthless. I haven't seen as much of the Warriors as I usually do (I've watched more Heat and Knicks this season, and a lot of Spurs games to see how well they are actually playing), but wow...Biedrins needs bought out, or something. It's funny because, just a few years back, Kris Humphries was a filler of mine in our mocks. Now the dude is grabbing almost 10 boards and is very close to averaging a double-double, all in just 26 minutes per game.
  8. Superb defense by the Pistons, holding the Spurs to 64% FG.
  9. Three loans, a combined $1,000 (or less), potentially losing money for you in the pros.
  10. J-Rich missed both of his free throws, and nearly lost the game. Funny how Luther Head pulls up from about 30 feet, though, and Nelson was already in his face.
  11. Why do teams never double Carmelo at the end of a game?
  12. http://d.yimg.com/a/p/sp/tools/med/2008/04/ipt/1207627297.jpg
  13. Typical game where LeBron puts his head down and gets 16 free throws, Bynum or Ron (or both) are in foul trouble all game long.
  14. Jarrett Jack happened. Haha, well...Belinelli popped in a three, Okafor had a tip-in from a missed three (if I recall correctly, Belinelli or Ariza shot that one), Chandler choked at the line and missed both free throws, Jack was fouled by Kidd as he took a three...and he knocked down three frees to win it. Dirk went for the game-winner, but Emeka was all up in his jersey.
  15. Damn man, Griffin and Garnett basically shut each other down.
  16. Good game. Philly looks like a good team, and they have for a while now, since Iggy has really stepped up his game and decided he was going to distribute the ball a bit more. I'm not sure how their play will translate once they hit the playoffs, though.
  17. New Orleans, acting like they won the NBA Finals.
  18. UH OH. Kevin Love could have 55 the night he dances with the Lakeshow, and attempts to break the "last 40 years" record. The last time he didn't have a double-double, it was against the Lakers...November 19th, when he was held to 0 points and 7 boards. :o
  19. That's worse. Why not just stick with the shoulder? There's no reason why his arm extended unless it was intentional. If he was pushing off the body, it would make sense only if he was about nine feet tall. Had he come at his head from the start, you could claim it was an accident...that he didn't see where he was leading him, maybe his gloves were in the way, etc. But to hit with the shoulder, then bring the hand up, extend out to the face and smash his face into the wall...that was not by accident.
  20. That's not what I'm saying. You stated that these companies are out to make big bucks by basically pushing AIDS. If they were in it for the money, the smarter thing would be to prevent AIDS, because living with the HIV virus means you take those meds for life, and you can live a long life with HIV. With AIDS, your immune system is garbage, and you can die just by catching a cold (which gets bumped up to pneumonia within days). You don't live long with AIDS. The idea would be to not cure HIV and to prevent AIDS. That would mean more money.
  21. That doesn't make sense, because once you're diagnosed with AIDS, your life expectancy plummets. The idea would be to prevent you from getting AIDS, which means you take pills for life (like Magic Johnson).
  22. Damp is playing halfway decent, if you compare it to his expectations in November (he wasn't going to play basketball in the league again). Sheed's back is pretty bad...not really sure if many realize it, but he was advised not to play in the Finals because of it, yet the dude stepped up BIG in that Game 7 and probably did more for Boston than Perkins would've. He's definitely not ready for another playoff run, though.
  23. That was a TERRIBLE ending. I seriously can't believe that happened. LOL, I wish I had a video of my reaction to it live.
