In fact, I took Scottie Pippen's games with the Bulls, from 1987-1998 (11 seasons), and I didn't find a single instance of him going more than one game without being called for a foul. One game. Kobe's streak is three games, just one time in his career (this season, actually). The other times he went two games without a foul? He wasn't a starter in all but one instance of that. ---------- Funny part is, LeBron did this in 2009, also...from 3/22 to 3/31 (five consecutive games without a foul)...and Steve Nash, who is known as a horrible defender, did it for 11 games this year, 1/8 to 1/28 (lol). Is this an indication of LeBron not being a good defensive player this year, or because he's just incredlble defending others and never fouling? OR he's just not getting calls against him?

No fouls tonight. Five games, lol.

LeBron would get the MVP with a team under 50 wins, so I'm confident in that. But it all falls on Durant's shoulders, really. If the Thunder rack up 60+ wins, and Miami continues to be a bad defensive team, Durant gets it. LeBron is the best player in the league, but that's just how it works.

I don't remember where, but I did read somewhere that he may consider season-ending surgery. Don't remember if it was even a credible source or not, just saw it on Twitter a while back, RT from one of the news guys I follow. Leaves me guessing as to what surgery he would need, though...doesn't make sense.

It's tough to really call out just Avery Johnson, though. The Nets are a jumpshooting team that doesn't attack the rim as much as they should be able to (given who they have), and they can't defend anyone up front. Really, Deron is disappointing me a bit. He's too inconsistent, and you just don't know what you're going to get out of him. It doesn't help that Brook Lopez was out for quite a few of these recent losses, though, and they were starting Blatche.

First thing that ran through my head: NO, WE DO NOT WANT ANDREW BYNUM BACK. I don't know why the Sixers would want Blake or Duhon, though. They'd be interested in Morris, I'm sure. Wright is making around $4.1 million. Jordan Hill is around $3.5 million. To be honest, I'd hate to lose Jordan Hill...but if D'Antoni isn't going to play him at all (and he's not), I'd go Hill for Wright, straight up.

Ugh...gotta go take this laptop back to this girl today, even though I didn't have time to fix it. Guess she needs it for class this afternoon (won't connect to the net, but she needs it for Word or something). She told me she'd need it Friday, so I put it on the backburner. Time to cut my workout time in half, jump in the shower, brush that tongue, eat an early lunch, and go get it back to her...she has class in two hours.
