JaVale takes off from the stripe
Real Deal replied to Real Deal's topic in NBA and College Basketball Media
Weird, I read the score wrong. Makes it even worse, then. JaVale had a right to rip the rim off. -
It's amazing to see the Pistons struggle with all of that talent. Stuckey, Hamilton, Gordon, Prince, Monroe, Daye, Maxiell, Bynum, Villanueva...there's just so much confusion out there, seems like everyone wants to play the two-guard position most of the time.

Should Kleiza and Weems be Benched?
Real Deal replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Toronto Raptors Team Forum
I haven't watched the Raptors much over the last week or two, but I would bench Kleiza for sure. I never really knew why he was starting in the first place. Is Weems being selfish again? If so, you might as well show him the bench, also. And I can say, without a doubt, you're accurate about Julian. I've always wished the best for him, anyway. Stick players in the game that will play for the team, and will put out on the defensive end, regardless of the record or score of the game. -
The game I was talking about was an earlier game...completely forgot about the one tonight. But, when I say, "It's Bargnani," it's more about his defensive incapabilities. Still, didn't realize he dropped a 40 tonight. Just another instance of Amare not playing any defense.

And then he can't finish.

JaVale takes off from the stripe
Real Deal replied to Real Deal's topic in NBA and College Basketball Media
Dude was just pissed because McGee was going to bang out and celebrate in Sacramento, like it really matters to begin with. If the Kings didn't want to lose by two more points, they should've been more careful with the ball. -
Out of those games... Kings (Cousins) - Cousins sucks Warriors (Biedrins) - no defense Clippers (Griffin) - Blake gave him 44/15/7 Bobcats (Kwame + Diaw) - no defense Bobcats (Tyrus) - dropped 26/11 on Amare Hawks (Horford) - loss, but impressive against Horford Pistons (Wallace) - undersized Nets (Lopez) - dropped 35 on Amare Hornets (Okafor) - impressive Raptors (Bargnani) - ...it's Bargnani Wolves (Love) - dropped 33 on Amare Raptors (Bargnani) - still no defense, but Bargs dropped 41 on him He's still averaging under nine boards a game (8.9 is under nine, but it's still under ten as well), and he should be grabbing more. Looks like he's doing that in these last 12 games, inconsistently, but you have to consider the size of these opponents as well. Amare is sacrificing his defense just to put up those 30s. It may work now, but deep into the season, the Knicks are going to have to find a way to make up for it. Stoudemire will tire, as all players do, and his 30s will become 20s, his defense will still be missing from his game (as it has his entire career), and his rebounding won't be enough to help win these games, especially once they start playing the very good teams. The Hornets have been on a downward spiral since their quick start. So have the Hawks. The two winning teams they played were slumping, big time. The Wolves, Raptors, Nets, Pistons, Bobcats, Clippers, Warriors and Kings are all among the worst teams in the NBA...none having records over .400 and four under .300. If they started the year out this way, I would be praising them more...but before this streak of wins (with the exception of the loss to Atlanta where Joe Johnson was absolutely pathetic), they were firing off losses and were considered one of the worst teams in the NBA, next to the Clippers. Amare is playing well, and the Knicks are winning...so Knicks fans have to be happy about it. However, the problem isn't solved just yet. They aren't a lock for the playoffs, and I'm not so sure that Amare will be able to lead them there without major contributions from other players on this team in January to April.

Bad team, big numbers.

The Clippers won't be dropped from the league. If anything ever happens, they will be relocated. I know Milwaukee and Memphis have been in those talks, though. I don't remember who it was now (from ESPN), but he was talking on his Twitter about the league potentially dropping teams (talk of it, anyway), and he stated that those two were the most likely to be considered...which makes a lot of sense.

Sucks for the players. I really don't care, lol. I gave up caring about the MVP award a long time ago.

You guys will fix it before I do. Staff members need to know when to end the conversation. STL, when you say the Heat are going to get ran by the Jazz, then you admit it was just to troll, people are going to either blast you for baiting the Heat fans (trolling) or blast you for making a bad prediction and trying to cover it up. Same light, Warren has done this a few times, where he has had no problem stating that Portland (or any Oregon team) will win a game convincingly, and he has been wrong every now and then. He doesn't get smashed for it very often, though, so again, I think everyone involved needs to fix the problem so I don't have to do it myself.

Guess what? This discussion ends after my post. The rest of the topic, we'll be talking about the game.
-
Haha...wow, I didn't expect that, at all. Fisher just took the ball, drove hard to the rim and beat the Clippers with a layup...lol.
-
LMAO FISHER!

GASOL GAVE UP A DUNK. Wow. Kobe time.
-
Ron with two massive steals (making up for the pathetic shooting again), and Kobe with the last two buckets, including the go-ahead bucket. Yes sir. Put this ball in Kobe's hands and ignore the [expletive] out of Gasol.
-
Nevermind, 3-12 after he just got blocked.
-
Gasol is 3-11 shooting AGAIN.
-
Miller should've confronted him, to his face, instead of drilling him. The hit was unnecessary. What if Griffin breaks his arm landing that way? What if he lands on a camera and hits his eye, tearing the retina? A few pushes in the back when the player is NOT in the air does not warrant someone running at another and shoulder-blocking him as hard as he could.

Hornets could move to Kansas City
Real Deal replied to Dash's topic in New Orleans Pelicans Team Forum
Again, with the way the fans treated the Sonics despite the fact that they drafted Durant, and considering the fact that the city doesn't have a new area to stick the Hornets in...that idea isn't going to be thrown into the pot for a long, long time. Another team, another day. Vegas makes sense, but the economy has hit the city harder than most of the other big-name cities in the country. Kansas City makes the most sense here. Anaheim is another location being discussed, even though California doesn't need another NBA team. -
Thoughts on Evan Turner?
