DUDE, that's perfect. I had no idea you could open up those topics. I could never get them to open. Have any more like that? :o

Only two for the Lakers. Tell that to Phil, then. He has declined them the ball plenty of times late in games. He has pulled both Gasol and Odom before, keeping Bryant in with a few three-point shooters (despite Odom hitting a three every now and then). The last game-winning shot Gasol attempted (not counting his put-back against the Thunder), it was a long three from the top of the key, and it was a brick. Phil will never run that play again.

Also, we may have an OLD backup, which will help us greatly. It was one that was too old to restore back when we were hacked (probably from 2005 or so), but it could give us a lot of these dates I'm looking for.

I need you guys to help me remember when you joined OTR. Please, don't just say you joined from the start, because a lot of those that did will remember. Not looking for a particular day, maybe not even a month if you joined months after the board was put up...but I'm looking to change the registration dates back to 2005 (when we originally started) for most of our original members. If you joined a long time ago but didn't post much (or at all), just ignore it, for obvious reasons. As you can see, I've changed my sign-up date already (left pane). My account was the only one from the 26th of January. The board was open for registration on the 27th. Thanks guys.

The game was there to win, Cousins choked worse in those final, most important two possessions than anyone else did all game long. Not sure what else to tell you. Cousins put up 17/11 on 6-14 shooting (should be better for a center), played garbage defense all game (you watched it, so you saw it), and he was the absolute worst player on the floor in the final two possessions of the game. In fact, I'll take it a step further... Kings were up 99-90, five minutes left in the game. 04:47 Cousins Layup Shot: Missed 03:46 Cousins Jump Shot: Missed 02:29 Cousins Jump Shot: Missed 01:37 Cousins Rebound (Off:1 Def:9) 01:17 Cousins Layup Shot: Missed 00:55.9 Cousins Jump Hook Shot: Missed 00:53.5 Cousins Foul : Personal (3 PF) 00:28.7 Cousins Foul : Personal (4 PF) 00:21.3 Cousins Dunk Shot: Made (17 PTS) Assist: Udrih (6 AST) 00:11.6 Cousins Rebound (Off:1 Def:10) Finished with a bad pass after a drive where he should've actually put the ball up on. Guess who lost this game? ^ This guy.

Might as well end the convo now, before Jordan makes me throw up in my mouth again. Jordan > all. Perfect player, never did anything wrong, and NOBODY in the NBA will ever come close to him, today or 200 years from now, because he's so [expletive]ing awesome! Two pages of worthless discussion. No way I'm going to dip into a third page.

One turnover, actually. Dirk is the one that had three. I watched the entire game as well, and saw that Cousins had two crucial fouls, and ignorant shot attempt, pathetic box-outs, and a terrible pass out of a drive in the last two possessions of the game. He lost it.

Doesn't mean anything, dude, because it's been proven over and over again that Kobe and Fisher are the only two clutch players over the last 15 seasons. Even Horry was choking at the end of games, hit a memorable shot or two for us and, suddenly, he's a clutch god. Kobe was 18 when he took those jumpers, in his rookie season, his first playoff run. Odom isn't a rookie. Neither is Walton. Those attempts don't compare. That's actually inaccurate. Just because 82games says he hits on 25% of his tries (or whatever the number is) doesn't mean they are correct, because they take into account other shots that aren't necessarily game-winning attempts. It would be nice if I went back for about six or seven seasons, found all missed game-winners, and see what the stat really is. Bryant doesn't miss eight of those before he makes two. I can't even recall where he missed two or three last year, even though he made six (seven, actually).

Dallas and Sac both started choking at the end of the game, and Cousins picked up two costly fouls where he didn't need to even foul (Chandler and Kidd). He also drove the lane way too quickly, ignoring the other four on his team (right before the frustration foul on Chandler). He lost the game for Sacramento. Basketball is a team game, until a player loses the game. Looking at a box score doesn't tell me anything. Barea looked like he had a fantastic game, also...a positive +/- stat (useless) combined with his 7 points, 6 assists and 3 boards in 25 minutes...but his two missed free throws would've costed Dallas the game had the Kings made a three to end the game.

DeMarcus Cousins lost this game.
-
...I know.

Record for +/- in a single game.
-
When Jared Jeffries has a record for any statistic, it completely changes the way you are supposed to look at it. In that top ten are also Tyronn Lue, Bonzi Wells and Stacey Augmon...some NBA greats, for sure.

Kobe doesn't make the right decisions by taking the shot? Have you seen what has happened the last two times he has passed to Ron Artest for a last-second shot, just within the last two weeks? Did you see the only time he looked to Odom for a game-winner? Lamar airballed an 18-footer with not a single person near him. Luke Walton? He passed it right back to Kobe with zero on the clock (against the Knicks). There's a big difference between Kerr, Paxson, Kukoc, Pippen, Armstrong, Hodges, and Harper...versus Odom, Walton, Cook, Smush, George, and Vujacic. The only clutch player Bryant has had by his side has been Fisher, and teams do not leave Fish open most of the time. Even at that, the only time Fisher has hit a clutch shot that has been defended was against the Spurs. Most of the others, Bryant has made the play (ex. Orlando, play out of the post where he supposedly fouled Nelson). Bryant is the greatest clutch player in the history of the game partially because he's not stupid enough to pass up the most important shots. He has the most game-winners in NBA history, and nobody defends other players like they do him, which isn't even arguable. When a player hits a game-winner, in Denver, after being late to the game due to a court trial, with fans booing every second he was involved in the game...or when he hits a three after having someone draped on him, then a fadeaway buzzer-beating three the same game to win the division...or drilling a fadeaway jumper in a playoff game with an excellent defender and a lanky defender both in his grill...it's no question who you pass the ball to when you need a game-winner.

If the Heat want to give up 60 points in the paint every game, they will trade Bosh for Melo, and stick Melo at the four. Teams will eat them alive down low. Bosh isn't the ideal defender, but he's a better defender than Melo is when you're talking who can defend the power forward position better.
-
I would give that description to Ellis over Rose, mainly because Ellis is capable of averaging 30. It may be in a losing effort, though, but Monta is more likely to drop the 20-point quarters than Derrick, who seems shy with the ball in crucial points of the game.
-
Horrible game by Granger. Rush was playing well...can't say I was too big on his defense, but he did his part to try and win this game. Didn't watch but maybe 3/4 of a quarter, though.
-
Yeah, he's a top 15 talent in the draft, for sure. Just watched that trip-doub game...he's got it.
-
Lakers up 70-42. Time to rest Gasol and Kobe.
-
If the Heat ever consider trading Bosh, it needs to be for a back-to-the-basket power forward or center, someone that they can throw an entry pass to in the post. If he can run the floor well, that's an extra incentive for this team. They need to be able to run the break well, but also be effective in a half-court set, because the contenders will attempt to slow down Miami, force them into a slower pace, which will limit the amount of points they can put on the board AND force them into playing defense for 48 minutes.
-
They'd still play small, with Melo at the four, so whatever they want.
-
It's because the Heat need a third superstar, I guess.
