  1. First Thunder game I missed all season long (and all season last year, by the way). It just HAD to go to a third OT, too... Westbrook is getting really, really good...38 points, 15 rebounds, 9 assists? :o
  2. Nobody wants to troll RSZ. Our members aren't like that. We don't care what goes on over there. I never registered for any reason, and they won't be registering to troll because it's a childish act. I'm pretty sure we're going to be done talking about this very soon, as in right now. RSZ is in no way related to this site. It's not an affiliate (which seems to be the best decision I've made), and this nonsense going on is going to continue to crush that community in the same way it did many others who ran the same race. We don't care. We've been here for six years, and we have no reason to be concerned with anyone else unless they prove to us that they can contribute here (and we can contribute in the same way) as affiliates. Case closed.
  3. So I'm assuming this was all done to get activity? Either way, I don't know what else to say about it. It's not my boat, so you guys can sail it how you wish. My guys aren't going to go over there to start trouble, though. They can post as they wish, here or there, and that doesn't matter to me...but I'm not going to encourage trolling.
  4. It's seriously not that big of a deal, guys. Just ignore it.
  5. Haha, dude, it's cool...don't get caught up in that.
  6. ...if you guys had trolls and you had proof they were from here, you could've come to me. Whoever registered an account under my name...that definitely wasn't me. I could care less what goes on anywhere else, and I don't even know a good chunk of the posters there to begin with. But, this isn't the first time it's happened, either. There have been plenty of sites in the past (none that are up anymore, though). It's whatever. I'll handle it the way I always have, if nobody is going to handle it on their side of the fence.
  7. I gotta ask...are you talking about the blood red?
  8. I expect our members not to troll any other site, for any reason. I will not promote or encourage that, at all. The staff will deal with the trolls coming over here. What happens on other sites...we don't concern ourselves with that, but I'm asking that none of our guys troll elsewhere. I'm sure I didn't have to post this topic, because I know most all of you and realize you know better, so thank you.
  9. I have one eye. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v1347/216/56/502396652/n502396652_1598457_2873.jpg Two years of surgeries, both eyes, diabetic retinopathy. Everyone knows.
  10. Sorry for the spammers and trolls, everyone. They'll be taken care of, no worries. Been there, done that, right?
  11. I'm insecure about myself in real life, guys. I must be fat, ugly, jobless, with no girlfriend and no life.
  12. This is what I was talking about in that other Clippers/Spurs match-up. I know Duncan is still good defensively, and I know Splitter can defend, but Griffin just had a bad night with nobody else to take focus off of him even a little bit.
  13. I don't think he's trying to get LeBron in trouble. I think the idea is to get Miami in trouble. And if that's the case, there's a chance they will lose their draft picks for a few years (or whenever they have first-rounders, because they probably traded them off, don't remember), and get a hefty fine on top of that.
  14. Kobe hurt the finger. [expletive]ing great.
  15. Blame my iPhone for that. I have no idea why, but on Hoopshype (using my phone), none of the salaries are color-coded. Good catch.
  16. LMAO, what the hell...that Ahmed Johnson clip is hilarious. Good answers.
  17. What is the difference between this, the PS Move, and the Wii?
  18. Uh oh. Read more here: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-gilbertlebron120110
  19. That terrible week I had not too long ago KILLED me. It's amazing what the 10+ point weeks will do for your standings, though, even when we're this deep into the season.
  20. Two 60-win seasons and one trip to the NBA Finals (that resulted in a sweep and a bad performance by James) will be negated by the 10+ mediocre-to-bad seasons they will endure ahead...not to mention the fact that Cleveland is a city that has been screwed over like this before. It almost sounds like you're defending The Decision now, doesn't it? Not a single person I know, even Heat fans themselves, defend it...and the biggest reason was because he led the organization (and the fans) to believe that he was going to return, and he did so for years. There's more to it than just him leaving. Nobody said they were blockbuster moves. I just find it funny how easy it was for people to defend the Sixers because, to them, the organization gave Iverson two excellent players to work with (Mutombo and Ratliff), even though both were strictly defensive-minded players, and gave AI shooters that could knock down shots here and there...yet, with LeBron, he had no help. Cleveland was a team. They are 7-10 right now, without James, when most everyone thought they would be the worst in the NBA. Not the best record, but good enough to stick them in the 8th seed in the East today. You guys can talk about how he had no other all-star teammate to pass the ball to, but when you have 4-5 other guys who can knock down shots by using your strongest basketball ability (driving and penetrating), and you have defensively-talented players that help you defend your man AND don't always require your help defense, it makes life easier, makes you look better, and results in a team getting the job done. ------ The fact is, Cleveland fans have a right to be angry. Irate. Upset. Will they retire his jersey? Probably...and I wouldn't mind it, but there's no point in trying to sugar-coat what happened in July, either, just for the sake of arguing whether or not they should hang #23 in his name.
  21. The idea that he could be ineligible is ignorant to begin with. Whether he took money or not, he was still going into the season as, hands down, the best college football player out there...and no matter what happened BEFORE the season started, not a single person can take away what he has done DURING the year. Dude has been in beast mode throughout this entire dramatic process, and I love it. I wouldn't mind seeing Auburn win the National Championship, and Newton holding up the Heisman.
  22. I'm reading this over and over again, and I don't get this trade for EITHER team. Don't know the details, exactly, but look at what the Wizards would be getting: Vince Carter and, maybe, Rashard Lewis. They'd have to trade Andray Blatche and Gilbert Arenas. Dumping Arenas is fine, but Blatche? I know the guy has been screwing up and not playing like a big 50% of the time he's in the game, but there are actually times he DOES play like one, and you can't get around the fact that he is a big man, period. Lewis is a three, should never be playing the four because he's a SF stuck in a position that doesn't really suit him in Orlando. Carter is a SG/SF. Do the Wizards really want to start Yi at the four? As far as what Orlando is dishing out...for Arenas? He's making as much as Vince, with basically four years left on his contract (Vince expires in two). Shard has $20-23+ million for three years, so maybe it makes sense...BUT... A trade involving both Shard and Vince would need $37.8 million in return. Arenas is $17.7 million of that. Blatche is $6 million. With the 25% rule, they are short around $8 million, which means they would need to add two other players OR just Hinrich. This trade is a train wreck for both sides.
