Kobe with 31 points and 9 boards with four minutes to go in the third. I like aggressive Kobe. *cue white girl joke here*

I like how, when the Heat are losing, it's Spo's fault...but when they are winning, it's still Spo bashing time, and it's the big three getting it done. I guess Spo doesn't tell the team to go to Bosh this game (due to the Suns' size) and to contest everything on the perimeter all game long. It was probably Wade telling them that in the locker room, while Spo was getting a drink out of the water fountain. FIRE SPO!

This will be the death of the Suns. Steve Nash can't play big minutes anymore, and when the guys aren't knocking down threes, they will lose games. Live by the three, die by the three? Yes sir. Sadly, this wasn't exactly the problem when Amare was there, because Nash and Amare could play the two-man game, pick and roll and to the rim, but Hakim just isn't that guy.

I feel like a little too much weight is being shifted over to who is doing different things, and not enough about who is still going hard, period. Did you guys actually like Weezy's "revolutionary" music, when he decided to throw rap and rock into a box and shake it up? That [expletive] was garbage. It's cool to hear something different, but there's a reason why old hip-hop never dies. People complain about how rap needs to rise from the dead again...and a lot of it is directed to those current artists that go away from the trend, rather than stick with it. I always hear people say they want the old Eminem back, especially when he released Relapse (which sucked). Now, suddenly, they are looking for something different from him? He gets pounced on when he tries to sing, got criticized when he would take shots at people in his music, called a homophobe, called sexist, called out for piggybacking artists, and it never seems to satisfy anyone. Going, "Oh wow, that's something new, that's cool," it just doesn't make much sense when some of your favorite music was all produced a long time ago, duplicated over and over again by other rappers.

It's the system, it's Kobe, and it's Gasol. It gets players a lot of open shots. You saw the same thing with Trevor Ariza. Brown just didn't shoot well on a consistent basis last season because he was playing with a broken hand or thumb (don't remember which). It was a big reason why Vujacic was getting minutes, honestly.

Juggling between this, the banners, the team forums, board updates, and a few other things. Sorry guys, I'll get to it soon.

I'm not so sure. If you guys were truly tanking, I don't think you'd play your hardest against someone like the Magic. The idea would be to lose to all of the playoff teams and contenders, barely beat the bad teams. Beating good teams and losing the rest of the way gives fans the impression you are tanking, which could mean less fan support and less money made.

A healthy Yao would've stopped Rose from getting into the paint as much as he does, but this year's Yao wouldn't have been able to make it over to the drive on time, not even late October Ming. Maybe against slower guards. Gotta pick your poison, though. Lowry gives you slightly better defense, Brooks gives you offense with pathetic defense. Both are inconsistent in their strongest areas. Offensively, yes, Yao and Brooks would've helped. The bad thing was, Rose had four threes tonight, just four layups, nine total jumpers. He did his damage outside of the paint.

Knicks' storyline: Amare can't board, Gallo can't shoot, Turiaf fouls like Danny Fortson, and the Knicks trail most of the game.
-
I'm not sure how much the fastbreak would've mattered with Brooks when you have Rose on him. Plus, while nobody really played defense for the Rockets, Brooks would've given up 45 points having to defend Rose. But having Yao would've been a different story, so I'll give you that. Even for 24 minutes, Yao does enough to change a half of basketball.

Bulls are going to make both frees, or one with no time to run up the court. That was dumb.
-
Uh, it might be time to start shooting threes.
-
...and he does, and misses.
-
Rose needs to just attack and finish at the rim, right out of this timeout.
-
I didn't get to see the three-pointer, but that second one was definitely a 24-second violation. I think it's a good thing. Houston will end up on the right side of the call someday, and you'll love that replay.
-
LOL, Rose will score 30 points a game if he really wants to, yet when it's time to do something very late in the fourth, not a chance. He wants to pass the ball. What is wrong with this dude?
-
Lowry is getting crushed, and Martin should just stop shooting.
-
I'm assuming it was, because it wasn't Stu and Joel talking.
-
The dude that was trashing Kobe all game, then calling Steve Blake by the name Nash and saying the Lakers defense is among the best in the league (maybe to make what Jennings did more impressive?) just stated that this is the first time the Bucks have allowed over 100 points all season long. I'm guessing he wants to forget the OT loss to Boston, 105-102.
-
Kobe, like it's nothing. Game over.
-
Yep, story of the season so far. Phoenix nearly set the NBA record against us, and the Bucks aren't even that great of a three-point threat. We'll get that fine-tuned by April.
-
Bucks fouled each other there, but the referees didn't call it.
