Impressive win by the Wolves, after that loss to the Lakers last night. You'd think a second game of a back-to-back would result in a big loss (especially on the road), even against the Kings, but they came out to play. Hope you Beasley fans saw this game, by the way. 42 points, nine boards. And what's up with Evans in foul trouble again? Second night in a row...and he fouls out of this game in just 27 minutes.
-
You'd have to have his height and weight, also.
-
Sucks no team has picked you up yet, then. Should take you less than 25 shots, though.
-
LMAO, Griffin is still pissed at that BS technical foul and that BS flagrant they gave him. I haven't seen Blake this mad since one of his games back at Oklahoma. McDyess is still jumping like he's 27.
-
Two points from it, and that's with Kobe, Gasol and Odom scoring 56-57 of the team's points. Stick Drew on the Raptors, and he gets 20/10, no doubt about it.

Baron isn't even starter material anymore, in my opinion, but he makes it to where Bledsoe doesn't have to play so many consecutive minutes and have a larger role than he can handle. Splitter has played good defense on him, but with more help around him, Griffin would tear into him. Nobody was doing much against Blake in that first meeting, and I felt like Blake was pretty conservative that game. I don't see how the Clippers are even in this. Seven-point game as I type it, but still... Great, great block by McDyess. You can tell there's no question what Griffin will do with that ball, and that's why those contests and blocks are much easier.

This game should've been a blowout.
-
The Spurs are just crowding Griffin each time he touches the ball. They are forcing him into bad positions on the floor, forcing him to pass back out of the post or put up a bad shot. Insert Gordon, Kaman and Davis back into the roster, and it gives Griffin more to work with, and less opportunities to help in the post. Griffin would eat Splitter's lunch if he was in a different jersey.

Morey seems to be more focused on replacing the offense lost by Yao (not just his own points, but what he created out of the post), and it's been a bit too overwhelming because he has turned Houston into a true Rick Adelman team. While Adelman did have Doug Christie in Sacramento, he also had some pretty bad defensive players in Bibby, Divac, Peja and even Webber. It won him 60+ games, but that lack of defense (sacrificed for their offensive production) killed them when it mattered most. Scola, Brooks, Martin, Miller...they are all bad defenders, and an aging Battier and a small Kyle Lowry isn't going to make up for that.

Haha, not sure about Kobe being traded. LA has signed him through 2014 for a reason. They didn't even want to trade him when he was demanding a trade, lol. As far as building a team around Drew, I don't think he's a franchise player. I never have. A 20/10 player is an all-star, no doubt, and he can become just that...but Drew is a better second or third option on a contender because he is one of the most selfish legitimate post players I've seen in a long time. Definitely not on the same page as a Shaq, Hakeem, or even Yao. Hibbert doesn't give me that impression that he's ready to be a franchise player, either. He's showing that he can be a versatile center and do multiple things on the court, a better passer than Drew (more willing and just a better passer overall), but he makes for a better sidekick, also.

Didn't see them on Eastbay. I'll ask my brother if he has them at Hibbett Sports tomorrow. I have never seen them there, though.

Nah, he'll never get that 20 PPG as long as Kobe and Gasol are the two scoring options. Drew is still young, though, so in three seasons, I can't say he won't be able to put up 15-20 points a night...just depends on Kobe's decline (which will happen, I just don't want to admit it). As far as the rebounds go, that's a different story. Give Drew 35 minutes, and he pulls down nearly 10 boards a game. Gasol, Odom and Drew can average 28-29 rebounds per game together (they've done it for two of the last three seasons, even though there have been injuries assisting them), and it wouldn't be a reach to think that all three could grab 9+ boards a night. Unfortunately, we won't know for sure until Drew plays a full NBA season...and who knows when that will happen again.

If healthy, Andrew Bynum by a mile. He's a 20/10 player that is a bigger presence in the paint, a traditional center. You don't pass up on that.

Just bad decisions by both teams down the stretch...even though Meeks was lighting it up, just a little too late to try and make up for everything else going on with the Sixers. As far as the Thunder go, they have a lot of work ahead of them. -
Brad shouldn't have any games where he played significant minutes.

That missed free is a killer. Two possession game, instead of one. -

Maaaan...Philly is keeping it close. -
What happened with Dirk? I didn't get to see it. And Marion played like he was 23 years old.
-
Amare should've launched it.
-
It's not that Rick has anything against Hill, it's that he's got a man-crush on Brad Miller. Sacramento?
-
HAHAHA Amare strutting around like he's Reggie Miller.
-
What a stupid foul by Dorell. Still time left.

THREE!

Does this team not know how to pass to the rim out of the pick and roll? The Knicks desperately need Nash.
