Wow man.

The Lakers are better than I thought they would be, even with Drew out. And Kobe, man...don't know what to say about the dude's game. When healthy, he's incredible.

Which OTR member would you vote to become president of U.S?

^That was a joke, by the way. -

No, it's actually pretty serious. I'm sending candidates from OTR to run for office in 2012, so it's really important we keep this topic on the real. -
Maaaaan...

Basically, here's where it all matters: ECN and Flash may continue to leave OTR up (this is the most important decision, by the way), but ECN will leave Jordan off the banners, and the other three players would be LeBron, Wade, and Amare. With me, you get Kobe, LeBron, Howard and MJ, and 30 team forums...not just the Heat and Suns/Celtics/Patriots/Niners. Take your pick. -
So we get closer and closer to sitting on our hands and watching the United States shrivel up and turn into a fallen leaf. No stem cell research, no health care improvements, no nothing. What a [expletive]ed-up country.

Henry is one of my KU dudes, but he has no chance at even slowing down Bryant.
-
Rondo is really amazing. If he had a consistent jumper, my God...teams would be fearing him.
-
Dude, the Sixers look like they know how to play defense here and there, but then they just get ignorant. Just like that three...Iggy should've just contested it, not try for the steal or a flop. And that foul on Wall, dude was in position to take the charge, but then he jumps.

Wow.

It's really good to see the Cavaliers playing as a team, with more than one person making plays and guys like Hickson getting a shot at being a solid player in his career.
-
Because he's wearing #7, Blatche thinks he's Lamar Odom.
-
Blatche will never play like a traditional power forward. He's not strong enough, and he doesn't have the post moves to get it done. He would rather be a two-guard...you can just tell.

Hello from Horn Lake, Mississippi

YES. -
Haven't the Knicks waived him about 400 times already? Dudes are playing games with him.
-
Did we just set an OTR record for most Pacers fans online at once? I think we did. :o Who's your favorite MMA fighter? Welcome to the best.

Haha, what a beastly intro. Dude, YES. You and I are in the same boat. I loved the Suns, and Barkley was my guy. I HATE Paxson, and I HATE we didn't get the ball to Barkley to tie the game up. Enough about that, though. I suffered for too long (I was 10 when that happened). Welcome to the best. -

Del Negro Criticizes Baron's Work Ethic
Real Deal replied to The Lone Granger's topic in Los Angeles Clippers Team Forum
Baron has shot over 43% just once in his career, four times under 40%. He's super-inefficient, even though he was (at one time) very athletic and got to the rim with ease. The bad part about it is, he shoots poorly not because of constant doubles or lack of athleticism (even though he's suffering from that now), but because he's just ignorant and takes ill-advised shots. He's still throwing assists, but Baron came into this league as a scorer from UCLA, shot what...50% from the floor in college both seasons? I'm not sold on Baron being the starting point guard for a playoff team anymore. I don't think it'll happen for the rest of his career, unless he jumps to a contender that has enough star talent around him to make up for his lack of defense and poor shooting. -
Rush's Minutes Will Be Sparse Upon Return
Real Deal replied to The Lone Granger's topic in Indiana Pacers Team Forum
I honestly wish the Pacers would trade him. I just think he needs a new system and coach, and a different environment altogether. -
You guys are going to love the new banners. Guru worked on a background for them, while I am doing the rest (text and players). Gonna get all 30 teams finished first, though, so it'll be a little bit.

Sooo this is where everyone is at...
Real Deal replied to Finch23's topic in Red Carpet Introductions
The LA fanbase isn't exactly as huge as people make it out to be, honestly. Maybe it's because I appointed two Lakers fans as admins...and that was actually effective for years; I can say that the staff has never actually had a major dispute since I put the site up in 2005. As you can see, though...we have a variety, but not exactly heavy for any team in particular. We need more, but not RealGM more, haha. Anyway...welcome to the best. Good to see you over here. -
Good. It's long overdue. As far as Moss going back to Oakland, I doubt it. While we want to run and throw the deep ball, he would rather play for a championship (guess it doesn't matter if Oakland snags him off waivers). Moss could put us into the playoffs (hell, we are looking damn good right now), but I just don't see him going back to the Raiders. Would the Chiefs consider him? They shouldn't mind another target for Cassel. It would piss me off, though. It's tough to say, really.
