  1. Haha, I laughed... http://apps.facebook.com/nba-two-k-eleven/share/448
  2. The current Lakers? If I can be guaranteed a young Phil Jackson will be coaching him, maybe. A few mediocre seasons would be worth a potential six more rings, and Kobe won't be around for much longer.
  3. MAN...sucks. I seriously don't have $60 to spare this month. I'm about to go punch a snake in the throat.
  4. Ah. Why aren't they doing it for the two-time champs this season, then? And didn't Boston win 66 games a couple of seasons ago? Why not them, after they brought in who they did? I never said it was wrong, I just think it's funny. They usually do that for teams that prove they can win 60+ games.
  5. Much different. It's covering just one team, as you noticed. And not only that, but it has a 72-win countdown, which is exciting.
  6. That's if the other team allows the Knicks to control the tempo. The other team doesn't have to play at the set tempo, and those boards will have to come from Amare's offensive rebounding, and he's no Gasol on the o-glass. Last season, the Warriors played an uptempo offense, and were 29th in total offensive boards, 27th defensive boards. The Knicks were 23rd, Suns 15th. Amare isn't Shaq. So, because Dirk Nowitzki is a player of Amare's caliber (better, actually), there will be more plays in the paint? Dallas was 24th in offensive boards. Dirk didn't even grab eight boards a game last year. There's really no relation.
  7. Yeah, but I want to see him put that up against starting centers for 82 games.
  8. http://news-sports.net/?id=732&keys=ESPN-MiamiHeatLebronJamesDwyan-TheHeatIndexChrisBosh-SeasonLongCoverage Just letting everyone know...
  9. Between Wall, Griffin and Cousins, it all depends on their roles. I'm very curious to see how Gordon and Griffin play together, if Gordon will feed off of him in the post or what, and I'm not really sure how Cousins will do with Landry and Casspi wanting shots. Griffin should run away with it. It takes PGs longer to develop. I think Cousins' attitude could ruin him, at least for the first couple of years of his career.
  10. Ratliff looks like he's 26 years old out there, and not 86.
  11. The bench doesn't look that bad running the triangle out there. I'm a little surprised.
  12. You can post the links in the gameday topics, you just can't create topics for those links.

  14. From another topic... What bothers me about members, those that get high, is that I really don't know if their brain is functioning long enough to make a decent post that makes sense. Not only that, but I feel like, the longer they smoke and are on the site, the worse it gets, and they become trolls without even realizing it, even when they aren't high. Yep, like these... http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CDcK0OZZ6Hg/SMgd5x1LCzI/AAAAAAAAAdE/4Y_25PQb9ZU/s400/skinny+jeans.jpg I don't think I have to continue with this post. Point has been made. Thread closed.
  15. I would remove that last part, because last season, the Knicks weren't that much better than New Jersey (the Nets tanked, it was obvious just watching them), and yet Amare still left a 50+ win Suns team to go to a team that won just 29 games in a weaker conference. It has a lot to do with the money and the marketing. A LOT. I'm not sure if Amare expected to win much in New York, unless he's thinking Melo to NY is a sure bet.
  16. Vote and explain. Previous numbers... 2002-03: 8.8 2003-04: 9.0 2004-05: 8.9 2005-06: 5.3 (three games) 2006-07: 9.6 2007-08: 9.1 2008-09: 8.1 2009-10: 8.9
  17. Dude, the last shot of him before he came in and ran the ball twice...with all the players around him happy, and he was just pissed. You could see it in his eyes, and he wasn't even smiling. Makes me sick.
  18. LMAO What were you thinking? It's the Raiders.

  20. Basically, Rondo is a deserving all-star point guard, while Paul and Williams are superstar point guards. One plays off of his other all-star teammates extremely well, while the other two have their non-star teammates play off of them. When or if Rondo ever becomes "the man" on the Celtics as far as carrying the offensive load goes...I'll start to consider it. As noted already, he's not expected to drop 20 a night, run the offense, defend the best players, AND see double teams. Once he hits superstar level, and he's carrying a mightier load, he'll be in that discussion. Of course, you can't fault him for thinking he's the best point...but you can definitely fault him for not playing like it.
  21. WHOA, who is that #27 that has barely gotten any carries this year, yet runs through everyone trying to tackle him? Crazy!
  22. LOL, was I the only one that saw that?
