  1. If he was a better offensive player, I'm sure he'd be worth more than what Chicago offered. Sounds about right, though. Then again, if he was a better offensive player, he'd be an incredible center. Hard not to compare him to other big man contracts. Drew is getting double-digit millions, and he's in and out of the lineup all the time. I believe he's going to be making $14-15 million in a season or two.
  2. And Kleiza is a 55. EDIT: Nevermind, you caught it lol.
  3. Yeah. When Kobe said he had one more than Shaq, he laughed about it, and it was him cracking a joke about what Shaq said in previous comments. But Shaq's way of saying things, he looks to dig into his old teammates' brains, and he says it in a disrespectful manner, mainly to get topics made about him on OTR, since I banned him from posting here.
  4. AND DAVID LEE AND MONTA ELLIS, YOU WARRIORS FAN YOU.
  5. Well, Durant is a better defender than most say, at least by the numbers (ex. opponent eFG%). I'd say he's a better defender than Dirk, and he might be a better shooter. He also gets to the rim much better. But still, Dirk being an 83 makes no sense, especially when I look around and see Monta Ellis an 84, and David Lee an 83. Ridiculous.
  6. I posted it in here because I figured we'd talk more about the ratings than the actual game (if that makes sense). So here are the ratings, but only the starting five of each team. These below are in team order. The next list is in player rating order. The list was posted on Operation Sports as images, and I typed it out in Excel and sorted them for easier analysis. What do you think? Is Dirk Nowitzki really an 83?
  7. The Heat, because Drew is out for a month and possibly longer. But, with that said, no team will break 72.
  8. In other words, they will be the greatest team of all-time? Do you think they'll break the 72-win mark?
  9. Conzuela (Mexican maid on Family Guy) would call him Mr. Joakim...might be what I roll with this season.
  10. LOL. I'm eating some right now, while I'm reading your post. Lays Original. They taste amazing.
  11. Vote and explain. Tons of questions to answer.
  12. Had a good week, put up 10 points so far and waiting for tomorrow night's game.
  13. Keep in mind who is coaching Chicago, though. Korver is a horrific defender. I see Tom going with Brewer because of his defense, and bringing Korver off the bench, even if he does end up playing Kyle more minutes. Rose isn't exactly the best defensive player, so he'll need all the help he can get.
  14. And? He should go pick up hours doing community service for the Saints, then. Punish him, not the team. Miami would've won the game without him on the field...right?
  15. Not saying it's significant yet, but... http://www.boncherry.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/drew-brees-madden-2011.jpg He did get hurt today, but seemed to be fine.
  16. It's disappointing. I could care less if the Giants lose every game of the season, every year, because they mean nothing to Oakland...but Brandon Jacobs deserves those touches, especially inside the ten. If the idea is to try and portray Bradshaw as the next Barry Sanders, they should deal Jacobs and ruin the rest of their season.
  17. I don't like Braylon, but why should he be kept off the field? That cuts a chunk out of their offensive production, potentially, and that's basically penalizing the rest of the team.
  18. Knicks, Bulls, Clippers and Nets. Tomorrow is media day for the Nuggets. We'll see how it all breaks apart in the morning.
  19. I don't know about the Barnes rating. I think he'll do much more for us than many think. Without Barnes, we have no backup SF (Phil doesn't play rookies much, and Walton is probably closer to retiring than ever), and having defense off the bench is a must. Plus, Barnes has proven he can shoot the three at around 35-36% (don't remember the exact number, but it was before his Orlando stint), and a lot of players end up shooting career highs from downtown when they arrive here (ex. Shannon Brown, Trevor Ariza at that time, Lamar Odom), all due to how often they are open because of the triangle and the defensive attention given to Bryant and Gasol. I just can't say that Barnes' impact on the Lakers will be less than Ivey's impact on the Thunder. Daequan Cook deserves more time than Ivey. Royal has been toast ever since he stepped foot on the court, which is why Milwaukee and Philly rejected him last season.
  20. HOW does this happen? Man, I'm so disappointed. Janikowski is supposed to be automatic from 40 yards in. Next week, it's Houston, and they will want to score 40 points.
  21. 1) Andre Johnson (hope he stays healthy) 2a) Calvin Johnson 2b) Randy Moss 3) Larry Fitzgerald
  22. He seems to be throwing the ball better than he ever did, to be honest. More accurate than he was in Atlanta, where he would act like he had eight receivers on the field at once.
  23. Another game with four carries? Kevin Gilbride hates guys named Brandon?
  24. It's not just the defense that's failing the Texans, either...that's what's puzzling. I had the Cowboys winning, but I didn't think Houston would be sitting on six points in the fourth. I hope Johnson is okay. Not an excuse, of course, because they weren't doing anything to begin with.
